Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the Communication Strategy of the National Legal Development Agency (BPHN) supports and hinders the implementation of legal socialization through online media. The method used is qualitative with interviews. The informants in this study were Mr. Gunawan as the Coordinator of the Legal Cultivation Division of the BPHN Center, Mrs. Asiyah Budiarti as BPHN Junior Expert Legal Counselor and Mr. Ahmad Noval as a private employee. Using the theory of diffusion of innovation. The results of this study BPHN in developing a communication strategy in legal outreach during the Covid-19 Pandemic used two methods, namely direct legal counseling by going directly to the field assisted by obligatory parties, then using the indirect method by strengthening BPHN's social media such as Instagram, YouTube, websites containing legal content.

Abstract

The fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) regarding the prohibition of usury on 24 January 2004 did receive various responses in society, some took it seriously and used sharia banking services, some responded casually. The MUI fatwa is also suspected of being a driving force for Islamic banks. The purpose of this study was to find the effect of the issuance of the MUI Fatwa regarding the prohibition of usury on people's interest in saving at Islamic or conventional banks in Bekasi City. So that it will be known how much the people's interest in saving and people's preferences in choosing a bank to serve their banking transaction needs. The research results obtained are that the MUI Fatwa significantly affects people's interest in saving at Islamic banks in Bekasi with a significance level of 0.000. This indicates that Ulama still play a major role in providing input in the life of the ummah. Other technical factors such as ATM networks, location and access to Islamic bank offices, saving safety and self-identity of savers also have a major influence in determining people's choices of choosing Islamic banks for their banking services with a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

 Deixis is words or phrases that are used as reference to something related to the speaker.  There are three types of deixis, namely personal deixis, temporal deixis, and spatial deixis. This study aims to find out types of Deixis and the dominant deixis used in Song Lyrics Snowman by Sia. Sia is an is an Australian singer and songwriter who has unique characteristics. The method used descriptive qualitative because the data are in the form of words and phrases. The source of the data was taken from Sia’s song entitled Snowman. After analyzing the data, the results of study showed that 65 words of deixis. 40 or 65.5% personal deixis, 15 or 23% spatial deixis, 10 or 15.5% temporal deixis in Sia's song lyrics Snowman. There are person deixis words used such as I, me, my, you, your, we, and Mrs. Snow. While in spatial deixis, there are some deixis words used such as this, that, where, below, home, in North pole, and From. Temporal deixis used in this song are now, forever, all seasons, till, and Christmas

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students' understanding of the concepts of class X TPGM at SMKN 1 Cileungsi through the problem-based learning model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the spiral/cycle model from Kemmis and McTaggart which consists of 2 cycles with four stages in each cycle namely, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 36 students. Data collection techniques used include observation, learning achievement tests, and documentation. Data on student activity was obtained through class observation and analyzed to compare student activity levels in each cycle. Data about students' understanding of concepts can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained through written tests and practical tests then analyzed to compare the results of the exams in each cycle. The results showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes in the subject of hand tools using the PBL method. This is evidenced by the increase in student activity as seen from the percentage of student activity in cycle I of 55.56% (enough) increased by 22.22% in cycle II to 77.78% (good). Of the 9 aspects observed in cycle I, 4 aspects are still below the KKM, namely in the aspect of the ability to work on student worksheets, the courage of students in presenting their findings, the ability of students to relate material to real life, and the ability to solve problems while in cycle II all aspects have reached KKM. An increase in students' understanding of concepts can be seen from the average increase in practical test scores and written test scores. The average practice test score in cycle I was 68.24 (55.56%) increasing to 81.59 (86.11%) in cycle II. While the average written test score in cycle I was 59.08 (41.67%) increased to 62.04 (77.78%) in cycle II of the 36 students who still had not reached the KKM on the practical test as many as 5 students (13 .89%) while in the written test there were 8 students (22.22%) at the end of the cycle.

Abstract

Violence has always been close to women. Violence experienced by women does not only occur in the real world, but also occurs in literary works. One of the literary works that describes violence against female characters is the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. In this research, it can be seen that the characterization of women in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana is represented by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Violence experienced by female characters. As well as feminist studies on female characters in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana.

Abstract

Food is one of the basic human needs. Bittersweet By Najla is a food and beverage industry that has pioneered a successful dessert box business in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the influence of the brand image and product quality of Bittersweet By Najla on consumer satisfaction among the followers of the Instagram account @bittersweet_by_najla. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using the uses and effect theory. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling, with the Slovin formula resulting in a sample size of 400 respondents. The multiple linear regression results and the F-test show that the variables of brand image and product quality have a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction, with regression coefficients of X1 at 0.122 and X2 at 0.366. The F-test result is less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This indicates that the brand image and product quality of Bittersweet By Najla influence consumer satisfaction among the followers on Instagram @bittersweet_by_najla.

Abstract

This research is an annotated translation of idiomatic expression. The object of the research is a novel entitled See Me by Nicholas Spark. This novel contains many idioms which have different form in target language (Indonesian) when it comes to the context of use. The purposes of this research is to find out the difficulties faced by the researcher as a translator while translating idiomatic expression in the texts of novel See Me by giving plausible solution of the difficulties. The researcher uses the introspective and retrospective methods in conducting this annotated translation research. This research uses translation of idiomatic expressions of Baker’s idiomatic translation strategies to find the proper translating of idiomatic expressions. The result of this research is that from 10 data, there are 3 data of similar meaning but dissimilar form, 6 data translation by paraphrase, and 1 datum of similar meaning and form.

Abstract

The This variety of information makes the @sahabat.kipkuliah account a credible and up-to-date source of information for prospective KIP-K students. This phenomenon is very helpful for prospective students who are looking for reliable information about KIP-K, especially for those who face economic limitations. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of exposure to the Instagram account @sahabat.kipkulialh on fulfilling information needs in followers. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the exposure presented by the account had a positive impact on meeting the information needs of its followers, followers of the @sahabat.kipkuliah Instagram account agreed to access, view, and read within a certain period of time giving attention to the @sahabat.kipkuliah Instagram account such as liking, commenting, and even saving posts for future use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of exposure to @motomobitv Instagram account on followers' satisfaction in obtaining automotive information using a quantitative approach method, and a positivistic paradigm. The theory used in this research is the theory of uses and gratification. The results of this study indicate that exposure to the Instagram account @motomobitv has an impact of 77.5% on follower satisfaction in obtaining automotive information, while the remaining 22.5% is influenced by other factors outside of this study. This study also has the results of Ho being rejected and Ha being accepted, which means that there is an influence on media exposure on follower satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Seven spheres of action is a theory made by Vladimir Propp. The researcher analyzed the role of characters that appear in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone with this theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research shows there are six out of seven spheres of action that appear in this story which are: Alina Starkov as hero, King Pyotr as dispatcher, Baghra as donor, General Kirigan and Genya Safin as false hero, Malyen Oretsev, Zoya Nazyalensky, and The Crows (Kaz Brekker, Inej Ghava, Jesper Fahey) as helper, General Kirigan, Arken Visser, Dreesen, and General Zlatan as villain. The spheres of action the princess and her father did not appear in this series.
