Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Fakultas Teknik: Jurnal Abditek is a journal published by the LPPM Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Abditek Journal is published regularly twice a year, every March and November. Each journal number publishes 7 articles. Abditek Journal was founded in 2019 under the name JPKM (Jurnal Pengabdian pada Masyarakat). However, in 2021 it will change its name to "Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Fakultas Teknik: Jurnal Abditek". Abditek Journal began publishing articles in March 2021. Abditek Journal can be accessed through http://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/p2m/scope. Abditek Journal, particularly focuses on development of vocational engineering and application in community service areas as follows: electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, building engineering, informatics, industrial engineering, food technology, nutrition and public health, environment, biosciences, socio-economics, home-economics, family welfare, culinary art, fashion, cosmetology and entrepreneurship. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community service.

Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead that can shape the character and spirit of the Indonesian nation, both the good and bad of the nation is very dependent on the teacher. How great is the role of the teacher, so that teachers are needed who are professional, creative, innovative, have a high willingness to continue learning, and are literate in information technology, so they are able to keep abreast of the times. Website is an internet facility that can display information interactively. Through the website, users can exchange information so they can follow the development of science and technology quickly. Website provide many benefits if used wisely. However, in reality there are still many teachers who have not been able to increase their professional potential in developing websites. For this reason, a WordPress-based website design training program was designed for teachers of SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. This training uses the "Student Centered Learning" approach to the project-based learning model. The method used is the method of discussion, demonstration, and performance. Indicators of success in this training are: trainees can design a personal site based on WordPress. The resulting output in the form of articles in a journal, publication in online media, and publication of video activities on Youtube. Suggestions for further training are: training time should be longer, and training should be held outside of school or during school breaks, so that training participants can be more focused and not be constrained by teaching schedules. Abstrak Guru merupakan ujung tombak yang dapat membentuk watak dan jiwa bangsa Indonesia, baik buruknya bangsa sangat tergantung pada guru. Betapa besarnya peran guru, hingga diperlukan guru yang profesional, kreatif, inovatif, mempunyai kemauan tinggi untuk terus belajar, dan melek terhadap teknologi informasi, sehingga mampu mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Website merupakan fasilitas internet yang dapat menampilkan informasi secara interaktif. Melalui website, user dapat saling bertukar informasi sehingga dapat mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dengan cepat. Website memberikan banyak manfaat jika digunakan secara bijak. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak guru yang belum dapat meningkatkan potensi diri secara profesional dalam mengembangkan website. Untuk itulah dirancang kegiatan pelatihan perancangan website berbasis WordPress bagi guru SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. Pelatihan ini menggunakan pendekatan “Student Centered Learning” dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode diskusi, demonstrasi, dan unjuk kerja. Indikator keberhasilan dalam pelatihan ini adalah: peserta pelatihan dapat merancang situs pribadi berbasis WordPress. Luaran yang dihasilkan berupa artikel pada sebuah jurnal, publikasi di media online, dan publikasi video kegiatan di Youtube. Saran bagi pelatihan berikutnya adalah: waktu pelatihan hendaknya lebih panjang, dan pelatihan hendaknya diselenggarakan di luar sekolah atau pada waktu libur sekolah, agar peserta pelatihan dapat lebih fokus dan tidak terkendala oleh jadwal mengajar.

Abstract

Having healthy and soft hair is everyone's dream that must be maintained and cared for. For a long time, Indonesian women have been known for their treatments with natural ingredients. The wealth of Indonesia's natural resources is very diverse. The empowerment of women in the economic sector is one indicator of increasing welfare. Women also have a big share in poverty reduction activities through community and group empowerment by carrying out household productive business activities. The problem with partners in this community service program is that the activities are not optimal, because of the members' limited ability and knowledge, and partners do not know how to treat hair using traditional ingredients such as hundred hairs. The implementation method in this training is 1) Field observation, 2) Identification of partner problems and weaknesses, 3) Offering solutions to partners, 4) Product implementation. Implementation is done online by providing knowledge and demonstration of material through video shows. The results of community service activities include several components such as the number of participants, goal achievement, material achievement, material mastery and video quality is very good. In addition, participants are ready to be involved again in similar activities. This partner coaching activity is expected to complement the knowledge and skills in various aspects of family life, as well as meet the needs so as to strengthen the family economy. Abstrak Memiliki rambut yang sehat dan lembut merupakan impian semua orang yang harus dijaga dan dirawat. Sejak dahulu, wanita Indonesia sudah terkenal dengan perawatan dengan bahan yang alami. Kekayaan sumber daya alam Indonesia sangatlah beragam. Keberdayaan perempuan di bidang ekonomi adalah salah satu indikator meningkatnya kesejahteraan. Perempuan juga mempunyai andil besar dalam kegiatan penanggulangan kemiskinan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dan kelompok dengan melakukan kegiatan usaha produktif rumah tangga. Permasalahan mitra pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah kegiatan belum optimal, karena keterbatasan kemampuan & keilmuan anggota, juga mitra belum mengetahui perawatan rambut menggunakan bahan tradisional seperti ratus rambut. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pelatihan ini ialah 1) Observasi lapangan, 2) Identifikasi permasalahan dan kelemahan mitra, 3) Penawaran solusi pada mitra, 4) Implementasi produk. Pelaksanaan dilalukan secara daring dengan pemberian pengetahuan dan demonstrasi materi melalui tayangan video. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat mencakup beberpa komponen seperti jumlah peserta, ketercapaian tujuan, ketercapaian materi, penguasaan materi serta kualitas video sangatlah baik. Selain itu juga peserta siap terlibat kembali dalam kegiatan serupa. Kegitan pembinaan mitra ini diharapkan dapat melengkapi wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam berbagai segi kehidupan keluarga, juga memenuhi kebutuhan sehingga memperkuat perkonomian keluarga.

Abstract

Household Electrical Installation Training as a Fire Prevention Effort for the Community of Jatinegara District, East Jakarta Through Educational Approaches will be conducted at the Jatinegara District office by involving a certified installer accompanied by 5 (five) final year students of the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, State University Jakarta, which participated in the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program. Participants who will take part in this activity are youth youths, community leaders, electricians, builders with the duration of the implementation of activities for a full month including the provision of knowledge about electrical installation standards, the threat of fire from electrical installations not according to standards, electrical installation engineering skills according standards, checking citizens' electrical installations, and data collection, checking and repairing electrical installations in people's homes that are not in accordance with PUIL 2011 standards. This activity is one of the programs that is given on an annual basis to communities in the target area as part of the application of knowledge knowledge in the community. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, practices, and observations as well as data collection, checking and improvement directly in the community with an educational approach. Evaluation of the success of the program will be known through the provision of pre and post test to all participants including the instrument of satisfaction of the implementation of training activities. From the evaluation results there were 99% of participants feeling satisfied with the training activities. Of the 99% of participants, there were 35% who strongly agreed and 64% agreed on the relevance of the material and the expectations of the participants. And only 1% of participants who expressed disagreement about the relevance of the material and expectations of participants Abstrak Pelatihan Instalasi Kelistrikan Rumah Tangga Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Bahaya Kebakaran Bagi Masyarakat Kecamatan Jatinegara Jakarta Timur Melalui Pendekatan Edukatif akan dilakukan di kantor Kecamatan Jatinegara dengan melibatkan seorang instalatir bersertifikasi dengan didampingi oleh 5 (lima) orang mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang mengikuti program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Peserta yang akan mengikuti kegiatan ini adalah para pemuda karang taruna, tokoh masyakarat, tukang listrik, tukang bangunan dengan durasi pelaksanaan kegiatan selama 1 bulan penuh meliputi pemberian pengetahuan tentang standar instalas listrik, ancaman kebakaran dari intalasi listrik tidak sesuai standar, keterampilan Teknik instalasi listrik sesuai standar, pengecekan instalasi listrik warga, dan pendataan, pengecekan dam perbaikan instalasi listrik di rumah-rumah warga masyarakat yang belum sesuai dengan standar PUIL 2011. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu program yang diberikan secara berkesinambungan setiap tahunnya pada masyarakat di daerah binaan sebagai bagian pengamplikasian ilmu pengetahuan di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini antara lain ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, praktik, dan observasi serta pendataan, pengecekan dan perbaikan lansung di masyarakat dengan pendekatan edukatif. Evaluasi keberhasilan program akan diketahui memalui pemberian pre dan post test kepada semua peserta termasuk instrument kepuasan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan. Dari hasil evaluasi terdapat 99% peserta merasakan puas dengan kegiatan pelatihan. Dari 99% peserta tersebut, terdapat 35% yang sangat setuju dan 64 % setuju terhadap relevansi materi dan harapan peserta. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to care more about health. Like people who work as medical personnel in various health agencies. The need for personal protective equipment (PPE is increasing. These medical workers can be covered in the source. Through training on the intensity of wearing a head mask and based on the request for the use of a head mask, it is necessary to help with headgear products for medical workers. Community service activities are carried out in the form of presenting headgear to medical personnel. In addition, there is a tutorial for headmask products. people who work as medical workers in Rawamangun Village, East Jakarta Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan masyarakat untuk lebih perduli akan kesehatan. Seperti halnya masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai tenaga medis di berbagai instansi Kesehatan. Kebutuhan akan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD semakin meningkat. Tenaga kerja medis mengenakan penutup kepala dalam bertugas. Melalui pengamatan akan tingginya intensitas pemakaian headmask dan berdasarkan permintaan akan pentingnya penggunaan headmask, maka diperlukan bantuan berupa produk headmask untuk para tenaga kerja medis tersebut. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dalam bentuk pemberian penutup kepala kepada para tenaga medis. Selain itu, terdapat tutorial pembuatan produk headmask. Pelaksanaan pembuatan penutup kepala ini dilakukan oleh dosen dengan beberapa mahasiswa sebagai wadah untuk pengaplikasian ilmu yang dimiliki. Produk yang telah dibuat didistribusikan melalui Kelurahan untuk selanjutnya dapat disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja medis di Kelurahan Rawamangun Jakarta Timur

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, Indonesia was faced with the Covid-19 Virus Pandemic, which caused the Indonesian government to take action to ban travel. Now Indonesia has started to enter the recovery phase or known as the "New Normal" phase. At this time, the perception of tourists regarding security, safety and health during their trip has a very big influence on their choices regarding the destinations to be visited and the facilities needed. Therefore, the tourism village manager must be able to foster a sense of tourist confidence in the destination, for example in terms of cleanliness, health, and safety and environmental sustainability (CHSE). However, not all Tourism Village managers understand the application of CHSE (cleanliness, health, and safety) in tourism businesses such as Homestay in the face of the new normal order, therefore training needs to be provided. The training was given to 24 participants, namely Homestay Managers on September 11, 2021. The training was carried out using presentation, discussion and practicum methods. The material provided is the Homestay Manager about the importance of implementing cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability at the Homestay, Knowledge of various equipment and cleaning materials used, Skills in preparing guest rooms according to standards. Skills on making beds and proper cleaning techniques by applying the CHSE ASEAN Standard in Homestay Prior to the training, a Pre Test was given and the result was that 70% of the participants did not master the implementation of the CHSE ASEAN Standard in Homestay. After the training, a Post Test was given with the results that all participants mastered the application of the CHSE ASEAN Standard in Homestay. This is seen in the ability to answer the questions given. We provide a pocket book on CHSE ASEAN Standard on Homestay to recall the material that has been given, and practice how to clean, organize a Homestay according to the CHSE ASEAN Standard in one of the Homestay that was used as a model house. Thus, participants are able to increase their motivation and improve their ability to manage homestays by applying the CHSE ASEAN Standard. Abstrak Awal tahun 2020 di Indonesia dihadapi Pandemi Virus Covid-19 yang menyebabkan pemerintah Indonesia mengambil tindakan melakukan larangan berwisata. Kini Indonesia sudah mulai masuk tahap pemulihan atau dikenal dengan fase “New Normal”. Pada saat ini persepsi wisatawan terkait keamanan, keselamatan dan kesehatan selama berwisata sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap pilihan mereka mengenai destinasi yang dikunjungi dan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu pengelola Desa Wisata harus dapat menumbuhkan rasa kepercayaan wisatawan terhadap destinasi, misalnya dari segi cleanliness, health, dan safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE). Namun tidak semua pengelola Desa Wisata memahami penerapan CHSE (cleanliness, health, dan safety) pada usaha wisata seperti Homestay dalam menghadapi tatanan normal baru, oleh sebab itu perlu diberikan pelatihan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada 24 peserta yaitu Pengelola Homestay pada tanggal 11 September 2021. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode presentasi, diskusi dan praktikum. Materi yang diberikan yaitu Pengelola Homestay tentang pentingnya pelaksanaan kebersihan, kesehatan, keselamatan dan kelestarian lingkungan di Homestay, Pengetahuan tentang berbagai peralatan dan bahan pembersih yang digunakan, Keterampilan dalam penyiapan kamar tamu yg sesuai dengan standar. Keterampilan tentang making bed dan Teknik pembersihan yang benar dengan menerapkan CHSE ASEAN Standard Pada Homestay Sebelum pelatihan diberikan Pre Test dan hasilnya 70% peserta kurang menguasai penerapan CHSE ASEAN Standard pada Homestay. Abstract

The training activities for utilization of local food in Fajar Baru Village, South Lampung, Lampung had some goals that in line with the Community Service of UNJ such as to maintain food security of Fajar Baru villages, create deeversification of processed product based on local food, and motivate the surrounding community to start entrepreneurship to improve family welfare. Cassava is a food that is widely available in Fajar Baru village, but its utilization is still not optimal. The training of making a Pempek Adaan by utilizing cassava in the form of cassava flour is a solution to achieve the aim of the community service program. The COVID-19 pandemic situation that hit the world, including Indonesia, resulted in the need for adjustments in the implementation of this activity, so that digital-based training was made by utilizing video as a training media. The participants of this activity were women for Empowerment and Family Welfare and the general public of Fajar Baru village, South Lampung. Based on data that taken from participants through assessment instruments, it is known that this training has succeeded in providing an understanding of the products described, the video media used can be clearly conveyed, and motivating the participants to start entrepreneurship. Abstrak Kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan bahan pangan masyarakat di desa Fajar Baru, Lampung Selatan, Lampung memiliki tujuan untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan desa mitra, menciptakan deiversifikasi produk olahan bahan pangan lokal, dan memotivasi masyarakat sekitar untuk memulai berwirausaha demi meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Singkong merupakan bahan pangan yang banyak tersedia di desa Fajar Baru, tetapi pemanfaatannya masih belum optimal, padahal singkong memiliki potensi yang besar sebagai bahan pangan untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan baik dari segi nutrisi, ketersediaan, dan ekonomi. Pelatihan pembuatan pempek adaan dengan memanfaatkan singkong dalam bentuk tepung singkong menjadi sebuah solusi untuk mencapai tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kondisi pandemi covid-19 yang melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia mengakibatkan perlu dilakukan penyesuaian dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, sehingga dibuat pelatihan berbasis digital dengan memanfaatkan video sebagai media pelatihan. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK dan masyarakat umum desa Fajar Baru, Lampung Selatan. Berdasarkan data yang diambil dari peserta kegiatan melalui instrumen penilaian, diketahui bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman mengenai produk yang dijelaskan, media video yang digunakan dapat dengan jelas tersampaikan, serta memotivasi para peserta untuk memulai berwirausaha.

Abstract

The skin is part of the body of a living thing located on the outermost layer. Be it animals, plants, and humans all have skin. The skin is the organ of a living creature and is the first organ to come into direct contact with the surroundings. Therefore, the health of the skin needs attention. The goal is to keep the skin in good shape. To accomplish this, we need to use beauty products that can treat skin both from the outside and from the inside. To keep the skin from the outside we need to use beauty products. In beauty products there are chemicals, sometimes the general public doesn't understand the content of the product they choose. From this problem there needs to be education on the community in the form of pocketbook sharing "Dangerous Chemicals on Cosmetics". It's not just about the chemical content. The study was also intended to educate the public that skin has a very important function for human health. In the book we shared, there are also images of the skin layer and its function, skin features, skin tone, and harmful chemicals when used at a maximum amount.

Abstract

Karang Bahagia Subdistrict is one of the sub-districts in Bekasi Regency, West Java Province that applies PSBB. Based on Bekasi Regent Regulation No. 37 of 2020 concerning the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in handling the corona virus disease in Bekasi Regency, applies to all elements of activity, whether in the implementation of learning at school, work activities at work, religious activities in places of worship, activities in places of worship public facilities, social and cultural activities, as well as the movement of people and goods using transportation modes. The impact of this virus is so widespread that it threatens not only public health but also the community's economy and education. Covid-19 greatly affects the economy; therefore, assistance and training are needed for teachers in getting additional income by trying to do entrepreneurial activities in one of the existing market places. The P2M activity, entitled "Training on the Use of Market Place Applications for Teachers at SMPN 1 Karang Bahagia, Bekasi Regency." This was successful on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, and was attended by more than 100 people online starting at 07.30 - 12.00 WIB.

Abstract

The public as users of construction service products are increasingly aware of the need for quality products that meet the required quality standards. Efforts to obtain construction products with the desired quality is to improve the quality of human resources. One of them is the collaboration between universities and vocational schools in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2016, through increasing the competence of vocational students in terms of knowledge about building maintenance and maintenance within the scope of housekeeping in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number: 24/PRT/M/2008. Implementation on Saturday, September 12, 2020 via a Webinar with the "Zoom Cloud Meeting" application. The number of participants who took part in the activities from 5 vocational schools in Jakarta and Bekasi was 67 participants. The results of the evaluation using pre-test and post-test question instruments for 61 respondents showed: (1) there was an increase in the knowledge of SMK students about regulations in the construction industry related to building maintenance and maintenance competencies in the range of 16% - 26% before the webinar and after that 65% - 80%; and (2) Increased knowledge of building maintenance and maintenance work related to housekeeping increased between 25% to 50% or there were additional 15 - 30 people.

Abstract

This community empowerment activity aims to increase awareness of the KB village community regarding the waste problem through cloth waste recycling skills. This empowerment uses a qualitative study with the interview method. The target of empowerment is the entire community in the Mekar Sejahtera KB village, Air Hitam, Samarinda. The results of the introduction of the problem in the KB village were that the PIK-R in the KB village was not implemented, the case of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in 2019 was 1 case, there was a problem regarding waste and there were residents who did not use vaccines for their children. The problem-solving method in empowerment activities uses the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method with several community leaders and residents of the KB village. Community empowerment activities carried out are the skills of recycling cloth waste by utilizing used materials. The result of this empowerment activity is an increase in knowledge and skills regarding the importance of managing waste by recycling cloth waste to create product creativity in involving the community.
