Abstract

The background of this research is the phenomenon of success in preschools to understanding the concept of numbers to their students in class.The name of the school is TA Al-Ikhlas. TA Al-Ikhlas used number card media to introduce the concept of numbers to his students, until make his students in class happy and enthusiastic to learning the concept of numbers, and can make them fast to understanding the concept of numbers. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of research is the principal and teacher of group B in TA Al-Ikhlas. And the object of research is the use of number card media to introducing the concept of numbers in group B. Data collection techniques is observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research are TA Al-Ikhlas in introducing the concept of numbers by providing material about time, date, month, and year. In using number cards to introduce the concept of numbers to group B children, the teacher does this by introducing the concept of numbers and number cards and give assignments to each student to answer and connecting number cards with the appropriate number concept.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu kompetensi guru ketika pembelajaran didalam kelas, informasi secara teori maupun praktek dan kompetensi yang dimiliki guru untuk terus menggali kemampuannya dalam mengajar agar bisa menghasilkan peserta didik yang lebih kreatif, inovatif, dan harus tetap menyenangkan agar peserta didik tidak merasa bosan ketika belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan solusi untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 5 kali pertemuan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini dari beberapa anak masih belum bisa berkonsentrasi atau belum fokus penuh ketika pembelajaran didalam kelas maupun diluar kelas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi guru juga dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak kelompok B di Raudhatul Athfal Ibnu Hajar Muharto Malang.

Abstract

This classroom behavioral survey aims to determine teachers' and children's activities squeezing or coloring pictures and describe the improvement of developing fine motor abilities using squeezey things picture-matching activites in group A, youngsters in PAUD Al-Amin. Research subick was 11 children in group A in PAUD Al-Amin. The data collection techniques used in this study were observations by researchers and documentation of children's learning activities in the form of photographs. Analytical The technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. Results showed improvement in children's fine motor skills, namely developing according to expectations. Based on analysis of cycle I and II results, squeezing activities with drawing coloring activities can improve children’s fine motor skill.

Abstract

This class action research aims to improve the ability to understand number concepts through congklak games. Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kucur Dau Malang Regency with a total of 26 children consisting of 18 women and 8 men. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation of children in the learning process. This study of data analysis techniques uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in the ability to understand the concept through the game congklak by 88% based on the results of the first cycle and the second cycle. From the description above, it can be concluded that the game of congklak can improve the ability to understand the concept of numbers in RA Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kucur Dau, Malang Regency.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all walks of life, especially in the world of early childhood education. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process is carried out at home through a distance learning process. One of the appropriate methods used in online learning at RA Assa'idiyyah during the pandemic is the Islamic storytelling method. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. learning activities based on themes that have been planned or arranged. The results of the research show that the delivery of the story content is adjusted to the theme at the time and contains Islamic values. Evaluation of the assessment of the level of achievement of students is very visible in the fields of developing religious and moral values, social emotional, and language, which can develop according to expectations and well.

Abstract

Children's learning motivation is a passion or encouragement obtained by children in learning activities to achieve a certain goal. The study was conducted at RA Al Irsyad Karangploso Malang. It is known that, children have different learning motivations. This is influenced by the role of parents in providing motivation to learn to their children, because each parent has a different way to improve children's learning motivation. The role of parents is very important especially in early childhood education, because at this time the child is in a critical or golden period. So parents must be able to develop various aspects of child development well. In carrying out their role as parents in enhancing children's learning motivation, parents have different constraints including parent time with children, parental knowledge and parental emotions. Differences in each way or role and the constraints of parents, each child must still get enough motivation from the people around him, especially parents. So that children can grow and develop in accordance with the expected goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting styles and cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years in the application of parents to children to obtain optimal cognitive development. The research subject were 99 fourth year students majoring in early childhood Islamic education at the Islamic University of Malang. The instruments used are questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire used was the Likert scale of parenting on the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years. Documentation instrument in the form of the value of the results of research on parents. The results showed that the normality test obtained a significant value between the two variables X and Y (0,200 > 0,05 and 0,077 > 0,05), meaning that the value of the two variables were normality distributed. While in hypothesis testing, the value between the two variables X and Y is (0,000 > α = 0,05), then the two variables are stated to have a significant (positive) relationship and Ha is accepted. Then for the t-test results seen from t-count > t-table the value obtained from the two variables X and Y is 8,302 > 2,304, then there is a significant relationship between parenting pattens and cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years. With that it can be said from the result obtained that Ha can be accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the ability to count and recognize the concept of numbers through the media of loose parts in A RA Bina Amanah group children. This research is based on the results obtained from the researchers' initial observations through interviews with classroom educators and the results of this study state that the ability to calculate and recognize the concept of group A children is lacking. Media that is used by educators only uses child worksheets only. This research was conducted on group A children in RA Bina Amanah Kota Batu with a total of twenty-four students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the application of loose parts media could improve the ability to count and recognize the concept of group A RA Bina Amanah numbers before the study only reached an average percentage of 33.33%. After conducting research with the application of loose parts media the ability to calculate and recognize the concept of numbers in the first cycle reached an average percentage of 54.17% and the second cycle increased by 91.67%. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the introduction of number concepts in group A children RA AL AMIN trough the application of numerical fishing games. This research is based on the results obtained from the initial observation obtained by the research her through interview with class educators and the results of RA AL AMIN group A children’s ability to recognize the concept of numbers are still in less criteria. The concept of child numbers only uses worksheets as media. This study was conducted on group A children in RA AL AMIN Bonangan Pakis Malang, emounting to seventeen students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the application of numerical fishing games can improve the ability of RA AL AMIN group children in recognizing the concept of numbers before the study only reached an average percentage of 23,56%. After conducting research with the application of fishing games the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in the first cycle reached an average percentage of 52,59% and the second cycle increased by 88,23%. Has reached the percentage of comprehension.

Abstract

This study is about describing the application of the demonstration method in science learning at RA Assa'idiyyah, Karangploso district, Malang Regency. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative methods are used to examine the condition of an object naturally, in this study the subjects used were early childhood in RA Assa'idiyyah aged 4-5 years, based on the results of research and data collection techniques were carried out by triangulation (interviews, observations, documentation). ) it is known that: 1) Learning planning has been carried out by the teacher, including: preparing RPPM (Weekly Learning Implementation Plan), preparing RPPH (Daily Learning Implementation Plan), determining themes and objectives, preparing learning media or materials, 2) Implementing lessons that have been carried out in accordance with RPPH with preliminary activities, core activities and closing; 3) Evaluation is carried out by giving assignments to work on BKS (student activity books) and conducting assessments. Some of the steps taken in the application of the demonstration method include: lesson planning, implementation of learning and evaluation of science learning through demonstration methods.
