Abstract

VP3 biofertilizer is a fertilizer composed of vermiwash, molasses and 1% PEG, with 3 bacterial isolates added. Trichoderma viride FRP3 is a bioremediation agent that can degrade land contaminated with the herbicide glyphosphate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of VP3 biofertilizer enriched with Trichoderma viride FRP3 on the growth of the generative phase of soybean (Glycine max L.) grown in greenhouses. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Laboratory of Microbiology, University of Islam Malang from November 2021 to February 2022. The research design used a Simple Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 7 treatments and was repeated 3 times. The results of the study showed that treatment N (NPK fertilizer) gave the highest average yield on observations of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, total flowers, and total pods. The best result on the parameter of the percentage of flowers into pods was in treatment V2 (compost fertilizer + manure + VP3 biofertilizer 3 times application) which was 31,74%. Keywords : VP3 Biofertilizer, Trichoderma viride FRP3, Soybean.

Abstract

Rice plant (Oriza sativa L.) is a food plant that can produce rice as a staple food source for most of the Indonesian population. SIPLO application and the addition of NPK compound fertilizer can improve soil fertility and make it easier for plants to absorb nutrients in the soil. This study aims to determine the combination of SIPLO electric conductor type treatment and NPK compound fertilizer to increase productivity and quality of rice plants. The study was conducted from October 2021 to March 2022. The research method was carried out using a factorial RAK (Randomized Block Design) design with two factors. The first factor is the type of SIPLO electrical conducting wire, namely bendrat wire and enamel/copper wire. The second factor is NPK compound fertilizer consisting of 150 kg/ha, 300 kg/ha and 450 kg/ha. Each treatment combination was repeated three times. The results showed that there was an interaction with the treatment of SIPLO electrical conductors with the application of NPK compound fertilizer. The results showed a separate table for the treatment of SIPLO electrical conductor types with the application of NPK compound fertilizer. The weight of 1000 grains showed the optimum dose of 777.5 kg/ha resulting in a weight of 27.45 g. The yield of K2 shows a value of 84.90% and M2 is 84.93%. and Paddy tons per hectare separate table shows 10.05 tons/ha and M3 is 10.04 tons/ha. The treatment of enamel/copper wire + NPK compound fertilizer increased the productivity of rice plants by 92%.Keywords: Rice, Jawro, SIPLO, NPK compound fertilizer

Abstract

Caisim mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is a type of leaf vegetable that contains a variety of complete nutrients that are widely used by the community. This study aims to obtain the optimum dose of biological fertilizer application that can increase the productivity of growth and yield of caisim mustard plants. The research was carried out on the agricultural land of the Sri Anom IV Temas farmer group, Batu District, Batu City for 2 months starting from December 2021 to January 2022. The design used was a Simple Randomized Design consisting of one factor, namely Petrobio (H) biofertilizer. Petrobio (H) biofertilizer application consists of 4 levels, namely H0 (without biofertilizer), H1 (50 kg/ha), H2 (100 kg/ha), H3 (150 kg/ha). From the design that has been described, each experimental unit was repeated 3 times and each treatment unit used 4 samples, so that 48 samples were obtained. The results of this study indicate that the application of Petrobio biofertilizer is able to provide real growth and yield of caisim mustard plants. The use of Petrobio H1, H2 and H3 biofertilizers gave an equally good response to the number of leaves. The H2 and H3 treatments gave the same good response to plant height and plant dry weight. While the H3 treatment gave an equally good response to plant fresh weight and plant economic weight. From the results of the regression analysis, the optimum dose of Petrobio biofertilizer was 174 kg/ha with an economic weight of 136.882 grams/plant.Keywords : Caisim mustard plant, Petrobio biofertilizer.

Abstract

Sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt) is a food crop that ranks third after wheat and rice. National corn production is still unable to meet market demand. One of the efforts that can be done to increase sweet corn production is fertilization. Fertilizers containing macro nutrients N, P, and K are needed by sweet corn plants. The element K is the second macro nutrient after N which is most widely absorbed by plants. Elemental K in plants is in the form of K+ cations. Loss of K is very high due to leaching from the soil surface (Utomo et al., 2016). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of potassium fertilizer and its application dose on the growth of sweet corn varieties of paragon. This study used a split plot design consisting of main plots of potassium fertilizer (KCl and KNO3) and subplots, namely the application dose (50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 150 kg/ha, and 200 kg/ha) as well as control. The results showed that there was an interaction between types of potassium fertilizer and application dose of potassium fertilizer on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and chlorophyll content.Keyword : potassium fertilizer, sweet corn, KCl, KNO3, paragon varieties

Abstract

Rice plant (Oriza sativa L.) is a food crop that is needed as an energy source which is generally consumed by the people of Indonesia. The application of SIPLO and the addition of organic fertilizer can make it easier for plants to absorb nutrients in the soil and improve soil fertility. This study aimed to determine the effect of SIPLO induction duration and addition of organic fertilizer on productive tillers, percentage yield, weight of a thousand grains, yield per hectare, and percentage increase in productivity. The factorial RAK (Randomized Block Design) was used in this study. The first factor is the duration of SIPLO induction 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 60 minutes, and 80 minutes. The second factor is the addition of 10 tons/ha and 15 tons/ha organic fertilizers. SIPLO for 60 minutes gave a better yield of 10.22 tons/ha. The addition of 15 tons/ha of fertilizer showed good results of 10.14 tons/ha. If the results of the analysis are real, then it is continued with a regression test to determine the optimum point for SIPLO induction time.Keywords: Rice,jarwo, SIPLO, organic fertilizer

Abstract

Strawberries (Fragaria sp var. Mencir) are a good source of vitamin C, in strawberries contains more vitamin C than citrus fruits. Strawberries contain high antioxidants because they contain quarcetin, ellagic acid, anthocyanins, and kaempferol. This factor is one of the reasons why strawberries are much in demand and consumed by the public. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of a combination organic fertilizers and KNO3 on the diameters and storage life of strawberry plants (Fragaria sp.var. mencir). This experiment is a pot experiment using a factorial randomized block design. Factor 1 is the type of organic fertilizer consisting in four kind, among: O1 = Cow Manure, O2 = Conventional Compost, O3 = Vermicompost, O4 = Nano Vermicompost. Factor 2 is the Concentration of Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) which consists of three levels, among: K0 = No KNO3 application, K1 = KNO3 2 g/l, K2 = KNO3 4 g/l. The results showed that the use of inorganic materials did not have a significant difference to organic materials. Key words : Strawberry, organic fertilizer, vermicompost, diameters and storage life.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is one of the most widely cultivated and consumed horticultural crops in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to increase the yield of mustard pakcoy by giving various doses of MOL mixed with Moringa and Leri leaves so that it is expected to increase the productivity of mustard pakcoy. The design used was a simple RAK experimental design where there were 5 levels, namely K0 = without MOL application, K1 = 200 ml/plant, K2 = 250 ml/plant, K3 = 300 ml/plant, and K4 = 350 ml/plant. The results showed that the MOL mixture of Moringa and Leri leaves for K1 treatment with a dose of 200 ml/plant gave the best effect on plant height of 25.50 cm, number of leaves of 9.58 strands, leaf area of 1154.65 cm2, and total fresh weight of 315.25 g.. The optimal dose of MOL mixture of moringa leaves with leri is 153.14 ml/plant with the total fresh weight of the plant was 302.83 g. Keywords : pakcoy, MOL mixture of moringa leaves with leri, , yield of pakcoy

Abstract

Pakchoy merupakan sayuran yang sangat diminati masyarakat karena memiliki rasa yang lezat, selain itu Pakchoy memiliki kandungan gizi yang diperlukan oleh tubuh, seperti Protein, lemak nabati, karbohidrat, Ca, Mg, Fe, Sodium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C dan betakarotein yang tinggi. Produksi tanaman sawi di jawa timur relatif meningkat. Meningkatnya produksi sawi memberikan nilai tambah untuk peningkatan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya untuk menjaga kualitas tanah melalui perbaikan tekhnik budidaya dengan pemberian pupuk alami untuk memperbaiki unsur hara yang ada didalam tanah dengan pumupukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Dosis Campuran Limbah Bawang Merah Dengan Leri Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil 2 Varietas Tanaman Pakchoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian dilakukan di lahan persawahan Dusun Kemuning Desa Sukoanyar Kecamatan Pakis, pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan April 2022. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 5 taraf dosis yaitu D0 = 0 ml, D1= 200 ml, D2 = 250 ml, D3 = 300 ml, D4 = 350 ml. Varietas Tanaman Pakchoy terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu V1 = Flamingo, dan V2 = Gardena. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 30 petak perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis mol 350 ml dengan varietas Flamingo saling memberikan pengaruh interaksi yang baik terhadap variabel pertumbuhan. Sedangkan pada variabel hasil tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata. Pemberian MOL dengan Dosis 250 ml  secara efisiensi dan ekonomis memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil. Varietas Flamingo memberikan respon terbaik terhadap pemberian mol pada variabel jumlah daun, bobot segar total, bobot konsumsi, bobot kering total, dan bobot kering konsumsi. Sedangkan pada varietas Gardena memberikan respon terbaik terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman dan vitamin C. Kata kunci : Mikroorganisme Lokal, Limbah Bawang Merah, Limbah Leri

Abstract

Red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) has red leaves, wide, thin, bundles and curly, including one type of vegetable plant whose leaves are taken. The demand for lettuce production in Indonesia in 2017 increased but red lettuce production is still not optimal until now, so efforts are needed to increase red lettuce production by developing a cultivation system An alternative is cultivation without soil (hydroponics). The use of organic fertilizers is necessary because it is environmentally friendly so that a healthy agricultural system will produce healthy food. Vermicompost is a quality organic fertilizer. Vermicompost has both direct and indirect effects on plants, including improving the physical properties of the soil and providing the nutrients plants need. This study aims to determine the direct impact and residual effect of the application of vermicompost with red lettuce as an indicator in a soilless cultivation system. This research was conducted in a plastic house on Jl. MT. Haryono, Dinoyo, District Lowokwaru Malang with an altitude of ± 550 meters above sea level, air temperature ranging from 20-35oC, which was carried out from July to September 2021. The design used was a simple randomized block design (RAK) with 2 series (residue 2 and residue 3). In total there were 5 treatments plus 1 control using AB Mix nutrition. The results showed that the application of residue 2 and residue 3 of vermicompost significantly affected the growth and yield of red lettuce. In the second planting period (residual effect 3) the plants showed an increase in the total dry weight of the plant, the dry weight of economic value and the dry weight of the roots. Where the treatment with the highest increase was treatment V5 with an increase of 52.17% in the total dry weight variable, dry weight with economic value of 26.67% and root dry weight of 82.81%.                  Keywords: red lettuce, vermicompost residue, hydroponics.

Abstract

Biological fertilizer is a living microorganism material that is useful for increasing soil fertility and the quality of a plant's production. VP3 biofertilizer is a liquid biofertilizer formulation made from vermiwash as a carrier, molasses, PEG, and 3 functional bacterial isolates. In this study, the VP3 biofertilizer will be enriched with Trichoderma viride FRP3 in the form of pellets made from solid waste tofu dregs. The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriate drying temperature for the manufacture of BioferNA pellet fertilizer based on tofu waste and the drying results with the best total viability of biological agents will be tested on tomato and eggplant seeds to determine their effect on plant growth and the presence of symptoms of pathogenicity. and growth disorders. The research was carried out by the Microbiology Laboratory, Central Laboratory and Halal Center, Islamic University of Malang. The design used in the Biological Agent Viability Test was Completely Randomized (CRD) with 10 treatments and was repeated 3 times. While the design used in the test on plant seeds used a randomized block design (RAK) which consisted of 5 treatments and each was repeated 4 times. Observational data on each plant parameter were then tested using the analysis of variance F test with a significance level of 5%, if there was a significant effect between treatments followed by Duncan's test with a 5% level. The results showed that the drying temperature of BioferNA pellets made from tofu waste had a significant effect on the total viability of biological agents. The drying temperature of 40°C has a higher average total viability of biological agents than the temperature of 50°C. BioferNA pellets made from tofu waste which were added with VP3 and Trichoderma viride FRP3 had a significant effect on seedling height and fresh weight of eggplant and tomato seedlings, but had no significant effect on root length of tomato and eggplant seedlings.Keywords : Biofertilizer VP3, Trichoderma viride FRP3, Tofu waste, Tomato, Eggplant .
