Abstract

This article is motivated by the issue of ineffective handling of organic waste that causes negative impacts on the environment, including air, water, and soil pollution. However, many people do not realize that organic waste has considerable potential to be used as useful and have added value with proper processing, for example such as processing organic waste as material for making compost. This article focuses on the design and estimation of organic waste shredding machines, which are an important tool for processing organic waste into smaller particles. This organic waste shredding machine has a primary function, namely as a tool to accelerate the process of shredding organic waste into smaller particles. The project begins by identifying needs, including determining the desired processing capacity, the type of organic waste to be chopped, material selection, component size and shredding particle size. Then a conceptual design is made that includes important aspects such as the manufacture of the frame and engine body, shafts and bearings, blade components, transmission systems. Computer-based design software (CAD) is used to create 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional models of organic waste shredding machine, thus enabling visualization and refinement of the design. Cost and time estimation are an important part of this project. The estimation includes factors such as material costs and also assembly fabrication costs. Time estimation describes the stages in the design process, as well as the production process of the organic waste shredding machine itself. Abstract

This research was to investigate the microstructure and mechanical properties of ternary alloys Zr-10Ti-(x)Al (x = 0, 2, 4 wt.%) through solution treatment process with temperature variations 900℃, 1000℃, and 1100℃. The results indicated that α and α' phase existed in Zr-10Ti-(x)Al alloys. The hardness of the Zr-10Ti-4Al alloys in 1100℃ treatment was significantly increased because of solution treatment process, from 382.462 HV (0% Al), 403.304 HV (2% Al), and 465.68 HV (4% Al) to 386.066 HV (0% Al), 452.244 HV (2% Al), and 494.016 HV (4% Al). The addition of Al will increase the hardness of alloy because of strengthening mechanism beside the formation of intermetallic compound, the solution treatment process will increase the percentage of β phase and generated the phase transformation into α' which increased the alloy’ mechanical properties. In conclusion, Zr-10Ti-4Al alloy will be a great potential material for dental implant biomaterial.

Abstract

Corn is a superior commodity owned by Indonesia. Apart from being a staple food, corn kernels are also used as chicken feed by grinding them using a grinding machine. But the processing of corn as animal feed is still relatively expensive. Breeders usually process corn to the mill because they don't have a grinding machine. Meanwhile, buying a grinding machine is not cheap. So to increase productivity and effectiveness in the livestock sector, it is necessary to develop technology or tools in this field. One of the technological developments that can be applied to this sector is the use of grinding machines for corn kernels. We made this machine with the aim of increasing efficiency and saving on animal feed costs. The design of this machine is carried out through the process of designing, selecting and calculating components, the stages of making and assembling the whole, as well as testing the machine. The machine was designed using Autodesk Inventor software to help design the whole. The control and electrical systems are designed using the Simurelay application. This machine has specifications of 250 watt motor power, 712 RPM rotation and 3.29 Nm torque which is capable of grinding dry corn kernels up to 30 kg/hour.

Abstract

Water hyacinth with the Latin name Eichhornia crassipes is a type of aquatic plant that is generally considered a weed. Water hyacinth can be used to feed fish that are omnivorous or herbivorous. One of them is tilapia with the Latin name Oreochromis niloticus whose market demand is very much. Tilapia has a high economic value because the need for seeds and consumption continues to increase along with the number of cultivation businesses. Making feed using probiotic Bacillus Spp. and molasses prebiotics to increase the growth rate of fish. However, one of the weaknesses of water hyacinth plants is the low digestibility of the feed ingredients because they contain a lot of crude fiber. The purpose of this study is to find the effect of each experiment that will be carried out. This study uses an experimental method. This study involved six treatments, namely P1 = Feeding + Bacillus Sp. 10 mL/Kg feed + Molasses 20 mL prebiotic. P2 = Feeding + water hyacinth flour + probiotic Bacillus Sp. 10 mL/Kg of feed. P3 = Feeding + water hyacinth flour + probiotic Bacillus Sp. 10 mL mL/Kg feed and 20 mL Molasses prebiotics. P4 = Feeding + water hyacinth flour + probiotic Bacillus Sp. 20 mL/Kg of feed. P5 = Feeding + water hyacinth flour + probiotic Bacillus Sp. 20 mL/Kg feed + Molasses 40 mL prebiotic. P6 = Feeding + water hyacinth flour without the addition of Bacillus Sp. and Molasses. This research is expected to produce a good quality fish feed mixture for rearing tilapia (Oreochromis nilocticus) which achieves a protein content of at least 25% according to SNI 01-7242- 2006. The best treatment of fish growth rate was in P3 where each fish increased by 43.8%/day. Comparison of feed using 100 grams of water hyacinth flour without the addition of Bacillus Spp. and Molasses were significantly different, where the feed using water hyacinth without the addition of Bacillus Sp. and Molasses every day the growth rate of fish is 23.64%/day. While the feed that was given a mixture of water hyacinth flour, Bacillus Spp. and Molasses like P3 the growth rate is 43.8%/day

Abstract

Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted by the authors at RSAU Dr. M. Salamun Bandung found a problem that the officers did not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), many boxes containing medical record documents were scattered on the floor making it difficult for officers to take or enter files, and only one tool was available in the form of an iron ladder. There was once an officer who fell from a ladder and was exposed to a cold cough due to unclean air as many as 2 people. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the physical aspects in the medical record storage room based on occupational health and safety at RSAU Dr. M. Salamun Bandung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method and observational method with a cross sectional approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The subjects in this study were medical record file keepers at RSAU Dr. M. Salamun Bandung with occupational health and safety research objects, namely lighting, ventilation, temperature, and infrastructure/personal protective equipment. The results of the author's research, that the storage room for medical record files is already in a strategic place that is easy to reach by officers. However, there is still a mismatch in room conditions in terms of lighting, ventilation, temperature, and infrastructure as well as officers who do not use personal protective equipment. The author's conclusions and suggestions are to improve the lack of lighting, repair damaged air conditioners, add sinks, and the hospital conducts training on occupational health and safety for officers so they know the impacts that arise while working, and requires officers to use PPE.

Abstract

Health services as a sub-component of the national health system that have direct contact with the community. In order to realize good and quality health services, the government is responsible for the implementation of public health insurance through the National Health Insurance through claims pending or delayed claims from the BPJS to the hospital. In July to September there were pending claims of 68 out of 1912 files resulting in delays in payment of Rp. 83,561,200. The purpose of this study is to find out the pending BPJS claims to support the smooth running of JKN claims at the Sulaiman Air Force Hospital in Bandung. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The population in this study is the pending BPJS claim files for 2021, with a sample of 211 outpatient pending files and 80 inpatient files. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. The results of the author's research, there is no written SOP regarding the implementation of claims at the hospital. The sample of pending BPJS claim data on outpatient care was 211 (3%) from 7016 files and inpatient care was 80 (10.16%) from 787 files. The occurrence of pending claims will affect the smoothness of the conformity of the payment amount submitted to the JKN. The average suitability of payment of outpatient claims was 96.8% and 89.84% for inpatient care. The cause of pending is due to coding, medical, and administrative factors. The author's conclusions and suggestions are that there is no written SOP regarding the implementation of claims, it is better to make a procedure for implementing claims in writing. Pending claims occur due to incomplete claim requirements so that they can hinder the smooth payment of claims submitted. It is better to conduct socialization and regular meetings to all relevant parties regarding claim procedures and claim settlement.
