Abstract

Artikel ini membahas optimalisasi visi dan peran zakat sebagai penggerak pembangunan bangsa. Serta agen perubahan di bidang sosial, ekonomi, pendidikan, terutama dalam pemenuhan hak atas pendidikan bagi anak-anak. Di tengah-tengah masalah yang dialami anak-anak di Indonesia, dalam bentuk kekerasan fisik dan psikologis, putus sekolah, dan pelacuran anak, upaya serius telah dilakukan lembaga zakat di negara dengan serangkaian program pendidikan seperti beasiswa dan pembentukan sebuah sekolah gratis bagi anak- anak miskin. Langkah-langkah konkret selaras dengan pemikiran Gabriela Mistral, pemenang Nobel dan diplomat pendidik dari Chili, yang mengatakan bahwa besok sudah terlambat, hal yang paling penting bagi anak-anak saat ini. Hari tulang anak terbentuk, darahnya sedang dibuat, dan perasaannya sedang dibangun). This article discusses the optimization of the vision and the role of zakat as a driving the development of the nation. As well as agents of change in the social, economic, educational, especially in the fulfillment of the right to education for children. In the midst of the problems that plagued children in Indonesia, in the form of physical and psychological violence, dropout, and child prostitution, serious attempts have been made by zakat institutions in the country with a series of education programs such as scholarships and the establishment of a free school for poor children. The concrete steps in tune with the thinking of Gabriela Mistral, Nobel laureate and diplomat educators from Chile, who said that tomorrow was too late, the most important thing for children is today. Today the child bone being formed, his blood is being made, and his feelings are being built.

Abstract

Seorang pemimpin mempunyai posisi yang sangat sentral dalam membuat kehidupan menjadi lebih baik, yaitu melalui aturan-aturan dan kebijakan-kebijakan yang dibuat serta komitmen terhadap aturan dan kebijakan tersebut. Realita yang ada dalam kehidupan sehari-hari para pemimpin bangsa ini belum memperlihatkan sikap Islami. Pemimpin kita yang seharusnya memberikan tauladan, perlindungan dan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat, tetapi justru sebaliknya sebagian mereka korup dan tindakan-tindakannya jauh dari aturan-aturan Islam. Kajian ini bertujuan memberikan acuan dalam memilih seorang pemimpin ideal yang membawa kemajuan dan perubahan lebih baik bagi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah library research dengan sumber primer berupa buku “Membumikan Al-Qur’an Jilid 2 (Memfungsikan Wahyu Dalam Kehidupan). Menurut M. Quraish Shihab, seorang pemimpin harus dapat membawa kemajuan dan perubahan bagi masyarakat yang dipimpinnya. Dalam konteks kepemimpinan spiritual, seorang pemimpin harus memenuhi syarat, yaitu As-Shiddiq, Al-Amanah, Al-Fathanah dan Tabligh, selanjutnya seorang pemimpin juga harus memiliki sikap adil baik terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat yang dipimpinnya terlebih terhadap Allah karena kepada-Nya nanti akan dipertanggungjawabkan di akherat kelak.A leader has a very central position in making life better, namely through the rules and policies made and a commitment to the implementation of the rules and policies. Existing reality in the daily lives of this nation’s leaders have not shown an Islamic attitude. Our leaders are supposed to provide role models, protection and welfare for the people, but quite the contrary most of them corrupt and behave against the rules of Islam. This study aims to provide a reference in selecting an ideal leader who brings progress and change for the better of society. The method used in this paper is a research library with a primary sources book “Membumikan Al-Qur’an Jilid 2 (Memfungsikan Wahyu Dalam Kehidupan). According to M. Quraish Shihab, a leader must be able to bring progress and change for the people he leads. In the context of spiritual leadership, a leader must be qualified, is As-Siddiq, Al-Amanah, Al-fathanah and Tabligh, then a leader must also have a fairly good attitude about himself, the people they lead first to God for him later will be accounted for in later hereafter.

Abstract

Sekolah Berbudaya Lingkungan (SBL) sebagai salah satu wadah peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta didik memiliki peran penting dalam menyumbang perubahan yang terjadi dalam keluarga. Bagaimana menghargai air bersih, memahami pentingnya penghijauan, memanfaatkan fasilitas sanitasi secara tepat serta mengelola sampah menjadi pupuk tidak terpisahkan dalam upaya peningkatan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Sebagai komponen terkecil dalam masyarakat perubahan yang terjadi dalam keluarga akan memberi pengaruh pada masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dalam perspektif Islam dan untuk mengetahui implementasi sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dalam perspektif Islam di SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dengan penerapan sekolah berbudaya lingkungan sekolah menjadi bersih dari sampah, tertib dan nyaman sehingga akan tercipta suasana yang kondusif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Diperkuat oleh beberapa hal antara lain: (1) Sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dalam perspektif Islam memiliki karakteristik yang khas, yaitu dengan memasukkan pendekatan keagaamaan; (2) Model pelaksanaan sekolah berbudaya lingkungan di SMAN 4 Pandeglang merujuk pada program adiwiyata yang terdiri dari empat aspek untuk dikelola dengan cermat dan benar yaitu; kebijakan, kurikulum, kegiatan, dan sarana prasarana; dan (3) Implementasi sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dalam perspektif Islam di SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang menggunakan 4 unsur sebagai medianya, yaitu melalui kebijakan, kurikulum, kegiatan, dan sarana prasarana sekolah Environment-cultured school as a means to increase learners’ knowledge and ability plays an important role in contributing to the changes that occur in the family. It deals with how to appreciate clean water, understand the importance of greening, utilize appropriate sanitation facilities as well as manage the waste into fertilizer integral in improving the behavior of healthy and clean life. As the smallest components of society changes in the family will make an impact on society. This study aims to determine the environment-cultured school in the Islamic perspective and to know the Implementation of the School of Environmental cultured in the context of Islam in SMAN 4 Pandeglang. Results of the study show that: (1) environment-cultured school in the perspective of Islam has distinctive characteristics, namely by entering religion approach; (2) model implementation environment-cultured school in SMAN 4 Pandeglang refers Adiwiyata program which consists of four aspects to be managed carefully and correctly namely; policies, curriculum, activities, and infrastructure; and (3) implementation of the environment-cultured school in the context of Islam in SMAN 4 Pandeglang use four elements for media, namely policy, curriculum, activities, and infrastructure.

Abstract

Many kinds of research conducted so far reported that scripture unfortunately has been approached only from its legal doctrines. They tend to corrupt moral aspects as the very essential contents of scripture toward which God projects His doctrines. The trends of Quranic interpretation studies have also been limited to study legal or theological approaches neglecting the importance of its underlying moral ideals. To fill the gap, this article is aimed to offer a model of Quran interpretation based on its moral ideals, by focusing on elaborating Shāṭibī’s concept of maqāṣid al-sharī’ah (the goals of sharīa). It will deal firstly with extracting moral values underlying this concept, secondly, by employing Fazlur Rahman’s theory of distinction between legal-specific and moral ideals of Quranic teachings, it deals with constructing the models of Qur`an interpretation. The moral issues will be approached from a philosophical approach and the interpretation issues will be elaborated employing a hermeneutical perspective. Results reveal that the moral ideal-based Qur`an interpretation can be constructed based on the value-system of the maqāṣid, such as the theological-transcendental, theological pragmatic, and instrumentalist values. The interpretation can be projected both to an ethico-historical understanding of verses by connecting a historical context, literary context, and values and to an ethico-contextual approach by connecting a present situation, literary context, and values.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to see the potential and positioning of IAIN Surakarta, amid the trend of institutional transformation of Islamic Higher Education in Indonesia. In fact, transformation is not merely a matter of changing institutional status, but also the scientific quality of its civitas academics in responding to the technological developments and to the complexity of modern society’s problems. Based on the qualitative approach, wherein the data is obtained from 10 key informants which are determined through the purposive sampling method, the results of this study show that institutional transformation requires the readiness of all resources as its academic social capital. Started from good and appropriate mapping, management and resource development, in accordance with the quality standards determined. However, all of these will not work well without comprehensive institutional policies. Policies that refer to the strategic development plans, and completed with various rules, achievements, and indicators. Keywords: Islamic higher education, and Institutional transformation

Abstract

Abstract Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) has been continuously aligning its educational system with the needs of society and the times. The development of pesantren is inseparable from the role of kiai in carrying out the institutional transformation. This study focuses on transformational leadership of the kiai in developing the pesantren institution. The results of this study indicate that the concept of developing pesantren is transcultural with the principle of "accepting a new good culture and preserving the old one that is still relevant", based on the vision and mission, directed at an integrative education system which combines the mind and heart traditions using rational domain and spirituality in order to achieve worldly (profanistic) and ukhrawi (sacralistic) goals; transformational leadership styles of a kiai include idealized influence behavior, inspirational inspiration, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, and individual spiritual greatness; and the implications of transformational leadership include two dimensions, namely the human resources and institutional resources. Therefore, this leadership can be said to be prophetic transformational leadership with the addition of individual spiritual greatness (Five I'S). Keywords: Kiai, Transformational Leadership, and Pesantren Abstrak: Pesantren secara kontinu menyelaraskan sistem kependidikannya dengan kebutuhan masyarakat serta perkembangan zaman. Pengembangan pesantren tidak terlepas dari peran kiai dalam melakukan transformasi kelembagaan. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada kepemimpinan transformasional kiai dalam mengembangkan kelembagaan pesantren. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep pengembangan pesantren bersifat transkultural dengan prinsip “menerima budaya baru yang baik dan melestarikan budaya lama yang masih relevan”, berpijak pada visi dan misi, diarahkan pada sistem pendidikan integratif yang memadukan antara tradisi akal dan hati menggunakan domain rasional dan spiritualitas untuk mencapai tujuan yang bersifat duniawi (profanistik) dan ukhrawi (sakralistik); gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kiai meliputi perilaku idealized influence, inspirational inspiration, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, dan individual spiritual greatness; dan implikasi kepemimpinan transformasional meliputi dua dimensi, yaitu dimensi sumberdaya manusia dan kelembagaan. Karenanya, kepemimpinan ini dapat dikatakan kepemimpinan transformasional profetik dengan penambahan individual spiritual greatness (Five I’S). Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang fractional reserve free-banking dalam perspektif maslahah yang dikemas dalam sebuah komparasi pemikiran ekonomi Islam dan ekonomi Austria. Latar belakang munculnya tulisan ini adalah kegelisahan penulis terhadap terus berulangnya krisis ekonomi. Penulis mencoba mengkomparasikan antara pemikiran ekonomi Islam dan ekonomi Austria dalam memandang permasalahan ini.fractional reserve banking merupakan sistem perbankan modern yang sarat dengan resiko resesi ekonomi, karena dibangun sebagai wadah finansial semu dan berimplikasi pada bubble economy. Sehingga dalam melihat fenomena ini, pemikiran ekonomi Islam dan pemikiran ekonomi mazhab Austria bersama-sama menyumbangkan pemikiran kontrusktif terhadap sistem moneter perbankan, yaitu berupa fractional reserve free-banking. Karena menurut kedua pemikiran ini, sumber instabilitas ekonomi modern pada saat ini terletak pada sistem fractional reserve banking yang diaplikasi di perbankan komersial di seluruh dunia melalui kemampuan penciptaan uang (creation money), sehingga money supply bergeser dari titik keseimbangannya. The study discusses about fractional reserve free-banking in maslahah perspective which is presented in comparating between islamic-economic thought and Austria economy. At the beggining of this study is researcher’s disquiet about recuring crisis of economy. The writer tries to interconnect between islamic-economy thought and Austria economy in beholding this issue. Fractional reserve banking is such a modern banking system which has a recession of economy, since it is built as forum of financial illusory, then, it implicates to bubble economy. In order to regard this phenomenon, islamic-economy thought, along with Austria economy, contributes constructive thought toward such monetary banking system. According to these thoughts, the source of instabilitymodern economy is located on fractional reserve banking system that implemented in commercial banking in over the world by creating money. Then, supplying money grates with its balancing.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengupas tentang Muhammadiyah yang merupakan organisasi pembaruan Islam modern terbesar di Indonesia. Muhammadiyah tumbuh dan berkembang dari 1912-1950 yang dikenal sebagai fase pembinaan organisasi. Dalam fase pembinaan tersebut, peran kepemimpinan sangat besar -jika tidak boleh dikatakan sangat menentukan, khususnya saat Muhammadiyah dipegang oleh Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan, dan para penerusnya. Muhammadiyah telah berkembang dari pusatnya di Yogyakarta hingga menjangkau hampir seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Salah satu kunci sukses Muhammadiyah menjadi organisasi yang besar adalah karena sejak awal organisasi memiliki modal sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian studi pustaka untuk mengungkap sejarah tentang perkembangan muhammadiyah. This article analyzes about Muhammadiyah as the biggest organization of modern Islam reformation in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah had grown from 1912 to 1950 that was known as the phase of organization development. In that phase, the role of leadership was very important; it could be said quite establishing especially when Muhammadiyahwas led by Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan and his successors. Muhammadiyah has developed from Yogyakarta to almost the entire territory of Indonesia. One of the key successes of Muhammadiyah being the biggest organization was because since the first it has the social modal. This research used library research to discuss the history of Muhammadiyah development.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic period has not yet passed. Learning activities are carried out online or through distance learning. Distance learning requires teachers to assign tasks to children to keep learning from home every day. This research aims to see how assignment approaches affect the development of religious and moral values in early childhood in IT ADAR PAUD institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study examines the significance test between the independent variables of the assignment system and the dependent variable of early childhood religious and moral values using quantitative correlation research of product-moment through the t-test. The significance value of 0.753 is greater than 0.05, as shown by the t-test. As a result, it can be inferred that the assignment process has an effect on facets of religious and moral values formation in early childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic period. It is expected that educators in the pandemic period will continue to use the assignment method to ensure that facets of children's religious and moral beliefs evolve with time.

Abstract

Religious interpretations of Pancasila in implementing Islamic insights result from interpretations of religious teachings. For example, the interpretation of the principles of Indonesian unity is the Islamic ummah. The Indonesian context of the unity of all nations in the archipelago is a unity; Indonesian people with BhinekaTunggalIka ties. Indonesia is a great nation since the Kingdom of Srivijaya, Majapahit with Palapa pledge is strong, strong and advanced and respected by other countries. The kingdom collapsed not because of an external threat, but it was damaged from the inside. The Indonesian nation at present is a great nation, in essence feared by foreign countries. Indonesia cannot be bombarded from the outside. The method of infiltration into various ways; liberalism, secularism, 'radicalism, fundamentalism and so on. This country is prosperous, “gemah ripah loh jinawi” should be toto tentrem kerto raharjo. The source of his wealth is the struggle of foreign countries no matter how and how. Our present and future duties are to defend the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia in any way. The fact is that government policies tend to side with foreigners. If you are not vigilant early on, the Indonesian nation can be lost. For example, in Singapore, Malay tribes were destroyed, American Indians were marginalized, Australia aboriginal tribes were isolated, Palestinians had no territory.
