Abstract

Jahiliy literature refers to the development of Arabic literature in the pre-Islamic period, which includes literary works in the form of poetry and prose that describe the cultural, adab, and moral values of Arab society at that time. This study aims to describe the elements of adab in poetry and nasr jahiliy and assess their suitability with Islamic law, considering the controversy related to the acceptance of jahiliy literary works that are considered contrary to Islamic principles. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach, where data is collected from various relevant literature sources regarding jahiliy literature and Islamic teachings. The results of the study show that although there is criticism of the practice of ignorance, some literary products contain moral values that are in line with the teachings of Islam, such as patience, courage, and peace, which are taught in the verses of Zuhair bin Abi Sulma and the sermons of Hani' bin Qabishah. In conclusion, jahiliy literature is not completely contrary to Islam, and can even be studied and taken moral values that are beneficial to the development of Islamic literature and manners..

Abstract

The problem that arises in this study is that people only want to participate if there is a reward from the Government. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of the study in decision-making still have minor obstacles in building and directing community participation in attending the Musrenbangdes meeting. Participation in the implementation in addition to active community participation, the role of the government is also very much needed to direct, guide, supervise, and provide a budget as a form of government concern for rural development. The Village Head and his staff are quite active and have succeeded in carrying out their functions and roles so that they have been quite successful in completing one of the basic infrastructures of their village. This development activity involves the community in mutual cooperation to build infrastructure facilities that have gone well. The utilization of the development produced at this time has provided sufficient benefits for the interests and needs of the community. Community participation in evaluating development results is quite good. Suggestions to the Head of Wayau Village to improve the professionalism of the Village Apparatus.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) Kuliah program is a government policy aimed at expanding access to higher education for students from underprivileged families. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the KIP Kuliah aspiration pathway program at Bina Prestasi Independent University, focusing on the selection process, aid distribution, and its impact on recipient students. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Research respondents included KIP Kuliah recipient students, supervisors, and university administrative staff. The results showed that the KIP Kuliah program has helped students from low-income families continue their higher education. The selection process is carried out transparently, but there are still technical obstacles, such as students' lack of understanding of administrative procedures and delays in fund disbursement. Additionally, students receiving the program stated that the assistance had a significant impact on reducing the economic burden on families, increasing motivation to learn, and encouraging academic achievement. This study recommends increased socialization of the program to new students, improvements in the fund disbursement mechanism, and enhanced coordination between the government, universities, and related parties. With these steps, the KIP Kuliah program is expected to operate more effectively and sustainably in supporting equitable access to higher education.

Abstract

This study examines the Mendhak Sanggring Ceremony in Tlemang Village, Lamongan, from an ethnoecological perspective as an effort to preserve the environment. This ceremony is an annual tradition that reflects the local wisdom of the community in maintaining the balance of nature through a series of rituals, such as cleaning the spring (Sitting Sendang), preserving the tombs of ancestors (Bersih Cungkup), and processing traditional food (Masak Sanggring). This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Mendhak Sanggring Ceremony not only functions as a tribute to ancestors, but also becomes a form of culture-based environmental conservation. The community has been applying the principle of ecosystem balance for generations by maintaining clean water, protecting certain fauna, and preserving the forests around the village. These findings confirm that local knowledge has an important role in maintaining environmental sustainability, and can be a model in sustainable community-based conservation.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of noise on the learning concentration of private students at CV. Prima Aksara and the effectiveness of the Active Noise Canceling (ANC) feature in reducing the impact of noise. The method used is an experimental study with a quantitative approach, involving measuring noise levels using a Sound Level Meter and evaluating student concentration through questionnaires before and after using ANC. The results showed that noise had a significant negative impact on students' learning concentration, with the majority of students having difficulty focusing in noisy environments. After implementing ANC, there was a significant increase in learning concentration and a decrease in detected noise. Statistical analysis through the Chi-Square and McNemar tests supports that ANC is effective in improving a more conducive learning environment. Thus, the use of ANC technology can be a solution in overcoming noise disturbances in educational environments.

Abstract

Solar panels are a rapidly developing solar power generation technology that serves as a renewable energy solution, particularly in remote areas that are difficult to reach by conventional electricity grids. The main challenges in implementing this technology include low public awareness, high installation costs, and the influence of environmental conditions on its performance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of off-grid solar panels in generating electricity and to evaluate the environmental factors affecting their performance. The novelty of this research lies in its analytical approach, which considers not only sunlight intensity and solar panel types but also the geographical and socio-economic aspects of the local community. The research method used is an experimental approach by conducting direct testing of a 120 x 2 WP off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system installed in a household in a remote area. Data was obtained through observation, technical measurements, and documentation. The results showed that the highest voltage produced by the solar panel was 12.5 volts under clear weather conditions, whereas it decreased to 12.1 volts under cloudy conditions. In maximum load testing, the generated electrical power remained sufficient to supply household needs despite a voltage drop. In conclusion, the 120 x 2 WP off-grid PLTS system can serve as an effective energy solution in remote areas, although optimal load management is necessary to maintain energy efficiency.

Abstract

One of the digital health service applications that are widely used in Indonesia is Halodoc. User reviews serve as a crucial source of information for developers to improve service quality. This study implements Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) using Support Vector Machine (SVM) to classify user reviews based on aspects and sentiment. Data was collected through web scraping from the Google Play Store and categorized into four main aspects: Application Performance, Service Quality, Feature Completeness, and Pricing. Sentiment classification includes positive, neutral, and negative categories. The results show that positive sentiment is the most dominant (41.1%), followed by neutral (28.5%) and negative (30.4%). The SVM model achieves the highest F1-score in positive sentiment (0.85), while the Pricing aspect has the lowest accuracy (F1-score 0.46). This study demonstrates that ABSA can help Halodoc better understand user satisfaction, especially in aspects that frequently receive negative reviews, such as service pricing and delayed medicine delivery.
