Abstract

Desa Putera Elementary School is one of the units under the auspices of the Budi Mulia Lourdes Foundation. The school instills Budi Mulia spiritual values in students through Pendidikan Spiritualitas Budi Mulia (PSBM). One of the values instilled is self- reliance. This research examines the implementation of the PSBM module in cultivating the self-reliance of the 5th-grade students in Desa Putera Elementary School. The scope of the research includes the evaluation of the module’s content, obstacles in its implementation, and efforts to develop the learning process to make it more contextual and align with the students’ needs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as data collection techniques. The research subjects are teachers, school principal, and the 5th-grade students. The research results show that the current PSBM module has the potential to cultivate students’ self-reliance. However, there are several weaknesses in the module and its implementation in the classroom. Several factors that hinder the implementation of this module are the limited duration of learning time, the relevance of the materials to daily life, and the teaching approaches. This study concludes that the PSBM module needs to renew to emphasize the distinctive values of Budi Mulia that are integrated into students’ life context. The output of this study is a revised module of the value of self- reliance according to PSBM.

Abstract

Illicit drug use is controlled by prevention and treatment. LH Model is the first model of illicit drug use which has been improved for over ten years. In 2012, estimated about 324 million people or about seven percent of the world's population are drug illicit drug users and 183,000 of them die per year because of illicit drug use worldwide and 12.044 people die each year in Indonesia, but there was no death in the LH Model. In this study the model is extended by adding a state of death (D) which forming LHD model. LHD model is fitted with the illicit drug user data of BNN by selecting parameter values that approach the tendencies of the data, after that LHD model is simulated by minimizing the budget for prevention and treatment. Prevention is dominant on unrestricted budget, while treatment is dominant on restricted budget.

Abstract

Abstract

The implementation of triage in the Emergency Unit (ER) has an important role in determining the priority of patient handling quickly and appropriately. Errors in the division of triage such as under triage and over triage can have a serious impact on patient safety and service quality. One of the factors that affect the accuracy of triage division is the level of knowledge of nurses. Therefore, increasing nurses' knowledge is a strategic step to support accurate clinical decisions in the ER of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Hospital. This research aims to increase nurses' knowledge in the distribution of triage in the Emergency Unit of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Hospital through continuous training and evaluation activities. This study uses a descriptive method with a pre-test and post-test approach for implementing nurses in the ER. The number of respondents was 20 nurses who were selected in total sampling. The intervention was in the form of providing training on the concept, principles, and application of the triage system using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) standard. Data were analyzed descriptively to see an increase in knowledge scores before and after the intervention. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score of nurses from 65.5 before training to 88.7 after training. Most respondents experienced an increased understanding of patient priority criteria, critical vital signs, and determination of appropriate triage levels. Triage training activities have proven to be effective in increasing the knowledge of nurses in the Emergency Unit of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Hospital. Regular training and periodic supervision are needed to maintain the consistency of accurate triage implementation and improve the quality of emergency services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum in Mathematics learning for fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Romang Lompoa. The Love-Based Curriculum emphasizes a learning approach grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect for students as unique individuals. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum in Mathematics learning creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere, fosters students’ intrinsic motivation, and enhances their understanding of mathematical concepts in a more meaningful way. Teachers serve as facilitators and mentors who instill values of love and care in every learning activity, such as through appreciation, empathetic communication, and contextual learning. Challenges encountered include limited time and teachers’ adaptation to the new approach; however, these can be overcome through careful instructional planning. Overall, the application of the Love-Based Curriculum has proven effective in building harmonious relationships between teachers and students and improving the quality of the Mathematics learning process at MI Muhammadiyah Romang Lompoa.

Abstract

This study investigates the feasibility of upcycling post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and polypropylene (PP) wastes into 3D-printing filaments and comparatively evaluates their mechanical performance and storage durability at room temperature. Waste plastics were sorted, washed, dried, and extruded into 1.75 mm filaments under polymer-specific temperature profiles. Dimensional consistency was assessed through diameter measurements at multiple points, while tensile tests on filament specimens were conducted at 0, 30, 60, and 90 days of storage to determine ultimate tensile strength, elastic modulus, and elongation at break. The results show that all recycled filaments satisfy typical FDM dimensional tolerances, with rPET exhibiting the lowest coefficient of variation in diameter. At t = 0 days, rPET displays the highest tensile strength and modulus but the lowest ductility, rHDPE shows the highest ductility but lowest strength, and rPP presents intermediate behavior. During storage, all filaments undergo property degradation, yet with different rates: rPET retains ?90% of its initial strength and ?95% of its modulus after 90 days, whereas rHDPE and rPP experience larger reductions, particularly in ductility (to about 66–67% of their initial elongation at break). These findings demonstrate that common plastic wastes can be converted into technically viable FDM feedstock and reveal that rPET is the most robust option for applications requiring higher strength and longer shelf life, while rHDPE and rPP are better suited for flexible parts provided that storage conditions and inventory rotation are carefully controlled.
