Abstract

The problem in this study is that science learning outcomes are still low, especially the material on Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun. This study aims to determine the effect of using the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun. This type of research used in research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population in this study were all students of class III SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun, totaling 68 students. The sampling technique used is saturated samples. The sample in this study were 34 students of class IIIb with a direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and 34 students of class IIIA Cooperative Learning Type Stad (Student Teams Achievement Division). The instrument used in this study was an objective test with 20 questions. The data analysis technique was carried out by statistical tests using the t test Based on data analysis, it can be seen that: 1) There is a significant effect of the use of the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun Academic Year 2016/2017, with tcount 5 .79 > ttable 2.03. 2) There is a significant influence of the use of the Stad Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun in the 2016/2017 Academic Year, with tcount 6.21 > ttable 2.03. Significant Influence of the use of the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun academic year 2016/2017, with tcount 3.14 > ttable 1.995

Abstract

This article is motivated by finding various studies in articles and journals regarding an ADHD child who has attention disorders and cognitive impairment, and how attention and cognitive problems exist in ADHD children. ADHD children experience difficulties in paying attention, their emotions, including in cognitive matters. The method used in writing this article is a literature review, with the subject of the article being children with ADHD. ADHD children who experience attention disorders tend to be disturbed in their cognition, for example, children lack focus in learning which comes from various factors, one of which is difficult for the child to focus attention. So that it can cause concentration in learning to decrease when learning takes place. Concentration in learning is very important when learning takes place, children who are said to concentrate on learning like children are able to pay attention to the teacher while explaining, listen, ask questions while studying, respond, understand the material, answer questions correctly, re-inform the knowledge gained to others , Lack of concentration in learning will affect the low learning achievement in children

Abstract

Every child has the same right to get learning, but not all children can be treated the same as children with ADHD. Behavior that is different from children in general makes children with ADHD need a different way to learn. There are several Psychological Service Centers implementing various approaches which are a series of activities or programs to improve the learning abilities of children with ADHD. Some of these approaches are (1) collaboration between parents and therapists, (2) training children to sit independently, (3) sports, (4) learning activities (academic), (5) behavior modification, (6) use of APE, ( 7) the use of rewards, (8) EFT (emotional freedom technique) therapy, and (9) motivation. There are so many choices of approaches offered to improve learning abilities for adhd. Parents and teachers just have to choose and apply the appropriate approach if applied to children with ADHD who have barriers in accepting learning. Because a suitable approach certainly makes it easier for children with ADHD to receive learning.

Abstract

ADHD is an acronym for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is usually used to describe children who have three main types of problems, namely: overactive behavior (hyperactivity), impulsive behavior, and difficulty paying attention/concentration. Because they are overly active and impulsive, children with ADHD often find it difficult to fit into school. Often they also have problems getting along with other children. These difficulties can continue as they grow older, if they do not get the help they need. One way to reduce children's hyperactivity is behavior therapy, which is a technique used to complete behavior caused by encouragement and encouragement to meet life's needs, which is carried out through a learning process so that they can act and behave more effectively. then able to respond to situations and problems in an effective and efficient manner. This activity is called learning. The method in this study used literature review studies, from several previous journals that had been reviewed by the authors, to get the result that this behavior therapy can reduce hyperactivity in children with ADHD.

Abstract

Humans must grow and develop as long as they live. ADHD is an increase in activity to a certain level so that the behavior disorder that occurs has a negative impact, this makes the inability to sit still in class or eat, talk continuously, be disorganized, stubborn, behave erratically. This study aims to find out how the role of parenting parents in handling hyperactive children (ADHD). In this research method used qualitative research where data collection is done through the interview method. In this study, data collection techniques used primary data in the form of observations and interviews with teachers and parents. The results of the study show that the parenting style that must be applied to hyperactive children is that they need special personal assistance and the existence of democratic and authoritarian parenting in educating hyperactive children so that they are able to control their emotions and also so that children become psychologically calm and comfortable and not easily angry, and requires intermediaries between teachers and parents in dealing with children with ADHD so that they are aligned and able to develop according to their development both at school and in their surroundings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to see student learning outcomes in the process of learning art to make posters through the 3M (Seeing, Processing and Developing) strategy for special talent children. The method used in this research is the SSR (Single Subject Research) method. And the data collection technique in this study is observation with four steps, namely planning, implementing, observing, and assessing and reflecting on learning activities. After doing all the steps one by one, the results showed that using the 3M method carried out in art teaching practice can increase student creativity in making posters for special talent children. Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the improvement in the ability of mild mentally retarded students in class VI SLB Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah with barriers to fine motor skills in learning making flannel flower showpieces skills. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with a drill method approach. The drill method itself is a method that focuses on repeated intensive training. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' fine motor skills after eight meetings conducted in two cycles. Intense training, especially the ability to fold, cut, glue, and sew, can significantly improve student skills. In addition, several other supporting things, such as using materials that are easy to hold, keeping students focused, and providing motivation, are also essential things that are needed to put attention to.

Abstract

Deaf students are one of the students with special needs who have hearing impairments and require special services in communicating. The existence of obstacles or distractions that are owned by deaf students does not mean that deaf students do not have potential or abilities that can be developed. One of the potentials that can be developed by deaf students is through learning batik skills. This study aims to obtain an overview of the learning of batik skills to deaf children in class IX at SLB Karimun Negeri using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely describing lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning batik skills. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data validation technique through triangulation technique. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in carrying out batik skills, the following steps were carried out: 1) lesson planning by designing lesson plans according to core competencies and basic competencies and adapted to the needs and conditions of deaf students; 2) implementation of learning, including preliminary activities, core activities, and closing; 3) then the learning evaluation stage is through the work of deaf students applied to tablecloths. Assessment by paying attention to cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects.
