Abstract

Development of riparian areas based on urban ecology, where there is an ecosystem that is dominated by humans, but still maintains the existing natural system, especially in river riparian green areas. Panjang Island, which is at the mouth of the Kapuas River, is an island that divides the Kapuas River into the Big Kapuas River and the Small Kapuas River. This island has varieties of vegetation in riparian areas that have different and varied characters. So, the varied vegetation patterns in the riparian areas make the water quality different in each zone (Ratih, 2022). The Panjang Island riparian area is an area that is threatened by human activities around it, and with the plan to build the Kapuas III Toll Bridge which will pass through this island, of course there will be a shift in land use functions around the Panjang Island riparian area and also the Kapuas River. This research is a continuation of previous research, where digital identification and mapping was carried out on Panjang Island, namely by developing a concept and making a design model for the Panjang Island riparian area, which still maintains the conservation of the riparian area.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of adding asbestos to the production of refractory bricks with different material compositions, namely kaolin, fly ash, asbestos and standard water. The composition of kaolin and fly ash is given in equal percentages, varying according to the mass of asbestos, 0 (%), 10 (%), 15 (%), 20 (%), 30 (%). The tests carried out are thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, where these results become parameters for determining the best composition. The results of testing the compressive strength of refractory bricks showed that 0 (%) quartz sand composition had the largest compressive strength, namely 14.40 (Mpa), the impact test results for 0 (%) asbestos fiber composition had the largest value, namely 0.084 (Joule/mm2), while the results Heat conductivity testing showed that quartz composition 30 (%) had the lowest value, namely 0.373 K(W/mC), thus the addition of asbestos fiber can reduce heat conductivity but cause a decrease in the compressive and impact mechanical properties of refractory bricks. Abstract

The learning method acts as an educational facility that functions to convey learning material to achieve learning goals. It takes creativity from lecturers and those responsible for the teaching and learning process, especially practicum. The results of the study entitled Design Models of Equipment Vapor Compression Refrigeration Cycle To Support Practicum Heat Engine And Fluid Engineering Subject produce a model of a practicum tool that can be used to carry out some practicum contents for refrigeration engines. This model of Vapor Compression Refrigeration Cycle can do several practicums in a refrigeration machine, namely looking for COP from a refrigeration machine, installing a refrigeration machine, incubating a refrigeration machine, pumping down a refrigeration machine and filling in a refrigerating machine. Abstract

Abstract: Pedestrian paths in Pontianak City are increasingly showing improvement, especially in the city center area where human movement is increasingly busy with various kinds of activities taking place there. Roads as the basic element that forms an area are one of the easiest urban public spaces to observe to understand the characteristics of an area. Actors who travel on the sidewalk face various obstacles and goals they want to achieve during their journey. Walking here is a means to fulfill the need for face-to-face interaction that exists in urban activities. With the uncontrolled growth of urban areas, the development of public spaces for pedestrians is somewhat burdened. Most cities allow citizens to access basic services and needs in walkable areas. Pontianak itself is still dominated by a high number of vehicle users and this is not accompanied by efforts to increase pedestrian comfort. This research aims to determine the obstacles faced by pedestrians, especially in the Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) campus area by measuring the total area that can be passed by pedestrians and assessing pedestrian paths by assessing roads and highways in pedestrian catchment areas. feet at every intersection. . The research method used is a non-probability sampling method, namely an accidental sampling technique to calculate the pedestrian catchment area on the Polnep campus to determine the total pedestrian catchment area that is still comfortable to walk through. By measuring the distance between two nodes by navigating the street layout, urban morphology can impact the measurement of the ratio of route distance to urban distance. The analytical method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used to describe the results of observations and interpretation of quantitative data presented in tabular form. Meanwhile, the quantitative descriptive analysis method is used to measure or assess user perceptions of walkability quality based on the walkability aspects studied, namely accessibility, comfort, safety and aesthetics. The results and findings of the analysis at the Pontianak State Polytechnic Campus show that Accessibility (A), Security (SAF), Comfort (COM), and Aesthetics or Beauty (AES) have a partial and significant effect on Walkability. The conclusion can be proven through the results of the T test (partial) where the calculated T value for each variable is greater than the T table and the significance value for each variable is <0.05.

Abstract

Kebijakan pemerintah dalam mengurangi emisi karbon diantaranya adalah dengan mengeluarkan Peraturan Menteri PUPR Nomor 21 tahun 2021 tentang Penilaian Kinerja Bangunan Gedung Hijau. Salah satu kriteria penilaian dalam Bangunan Gedung Hijau berdasarkan Petunjuk Teknis Penilaian Bangunan Gedung Hijau adalah OTTV dan WWR. Kedua kriteria ini menjadi poin yang penting dalam kategori penilaian Efisiensi Penggunaan Energi pada bagian Selubung Bangunan. OTTV yang disyaratkan pada Bangunan Gedung Hijau tidak boleh lebih dari 35 Watt/m2. Sedangkan untuk WWR kurang dari 30%. Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sebagai institusi Pendidikan milik pemerintah juga memiliki bangunan gedung yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi standar Bangunan Gedung Hijau. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penyelidikan awal dalam bentuk penelitian terhadap kriteria OTTV dan WWR pada bangunan-bangunan gedung utama di kampus Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Sebagai obyek penelitian dipilih bangunan Gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Tahapan dan metode penelitian dilakukan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data berupa gambar bangunan dan kondisi termal ruangan. Dilanjutkan dengan proses analisis dengan spreadsheet Building Compliance Form v3.0 dan hasilnya akan dilakukan pembahasan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil kondisi existing Gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak mempunyai nilai OTTV sebesar 37,65 Watt/m2 dan WWR sebesar 34,28%, dimana keduanya masih belum memenuhi standar 35 Watt/m2 untuk OTTV dan 30% untuk WWR. Walaupun demikian, dengan pengubahsuaian yang dilakukan dengan penambahan shading horizontal dan pengurangan luasan bidang kaca pada bagian tower, maka bisa didapatkan nilai OTTV sebesar 31,22 W/m2 dan nilai WWR sebesar 29,12%. Sehingga nilai tersebut bisa memenuhi standar dan mendapatkan poin penuh untuk kategori efisiensi energi. Dampak lainnya adalah Gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sebagai Bangunan Gedung Negara setelah dilakukan tindakan pengubahsuaian dapat diusulkan untuk mengambil sertifikat Bangunan Gedung Hijau.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the decline in FFB prices on oil palm and productivity on employee family welfare at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa. This research uses a quantitative approach with a casual associative research category which means there is cause and effect. The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the effect of the decline in FFB prices on oil palm and productivity simultaneously on the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa, 2) to determine the effect of the decline in FFB prices on oil palm partially on the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa, and 3) to determine the effect of productivity partially on the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa. A total of 100 people consisting of employees and their families were used as research samples determined by the Slovin formula. This research data is primary data obtained directly from the first source either from individuals or individuals such as the results of filling out questionnaires. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis assisted by IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software version 29.0. The results of the research conducted showed that: 1) the decline in FFB prices and productivity simultaneously (together) and significantly affect the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa, 2) the decline in FFB prices partially (alone) and significantly affect the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa, and 3) productivity partially (alone) and significantly affect the welfare of employee families at PT Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa.

Abstract

Welding is needed to fill holes in castings, increase the hardness of the tool layer and equipment or worn components. Damage usually occurs on the wheel shaft of the truck that rubs against the bushing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the hardfacing welding method with variations in current of 90 A, 110 A and 120 A using RD 260 electrodes measuring 3.2 mm on surface hardness and tensile strength. The method used was experimental, aimed at testing and comparing ST.60 material that was not hardfacing welded and hardfacing welded. The results of the study obtained the highest average hardness value in hardfacing welding with a current of 120 A of 202.89 HV, the lowest average hardness value in specimens without hardfacing welding was 97.1 HV and hardfacing welding with a current of 90 A obtained an average hardness value of 104.80 HV and hardfacing welding with a current of 110 A obtained an average hardness value of 112.37 HV. For the average value of tensile strength (σtrk) without hardfacing welding is 660.67 N/mm², the tensile strength in hardfacing welding decreases where for a current of 90 A it is 567.80 N/mm², a current of 110 A the tensile strength (σtrk) is 568.88 N/mm² and 120 A the tensile strength (σtrk) is 574.11 N/mm². This shows that the surface hardness increases with increasing current in hardfacing welding and the tensile strength value will decrease.

Abstract

This research concerns the provision of plant-based liquid detergents that are friendly to the environment and users. The materials used are aloe vera and kesum leaves. The products produced are targeted to meet the needs of detergents with specifications that are cheap, easy to use and environmentally friendly so that they are very safe for the surrounding environment against waste after use. The aim of the research was to formulate the amount of aloe vera and kesum leaf extracts in the manufacture of liquid detergent followed by chemical and physical characterization of the resulting liquid detergent. The stage of the research is to formulate the use of aloe vera and kesum leaves with 5 combinations, namely 50:50. 40:60. 30:70. 20:80 and 10:90 (comparison of aloe vera: kesum leaf) followed by chemical and physical tests which include: pH, foam stability, irritation, color and odor. The resulting liquid detergent samples have a pH range of 2.34 to 2.93 which is considered safe for the skin and does not cause irritation to the skin. The resulting foam stabilizes in the range of 87 to 99, while the resulting color is relatively green due to the chlorophyll content in kesum leaves and affects the aroma produced due to the content of aromatic compounds.

Abstract

The Air Quality Index (AQI) is a benchmark for the health of a city by measuring the levels of each air pollution parameter (Yiyi Wang, 2023). AQI in a city increases due to the high use of oil-fueled vehicles, increasing population, and minimal vegetation in an urban area. Green corridors in cities are part of green infrastructure which plays an important role in reducing air pollution. The green corridor of the Jawi River in Pontianak City is a green corridor which also contains a blue corridor, namely the Jawi River which is a tributary of the Kapuas River in Pontianak. Gertak 1 and gertak 2 are segmentations of the Jawi River green corridor which are the delineation of research, in identifying AQI and identifying the ability of vegetation to absorb CO2. By carrying out direct measurements and analyzing air quality levels according to the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU), the Air Pollutant Index (API) results were obtained, which then created an infographic map of air pollution in the Jawi River green corridor. This API measurement stage is a method in this research, which is part of the Environmental Quality Index (EQI) measurement component.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap efektivitas pembelajaran dengan penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning di program studi Manajemen Perkebunan Jurusan Teknologi Pertanian Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sebagai implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka. Saat ini Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar kampus Merdeka belum diterapkan di program studi Manajemen Perkebunan. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya persiapan penerapan metode pembelajaran, mengadaptasi penerapan di beberapa perguruan tinggi vokasi lain yang sudah mendapat hasil yang baik dan bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa dan dosen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di semester VI program studi Manajemen Perkebunan terdiri dari dua kelas pada Mata Kuliah Total Quality Management. Jenis penelitian adalah quasy experiment (eksperimen semu). Masing-masing kelas akan diberikan perlakuan, satu kelas adalah kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas adalah kelas kontrol. Satu kelas diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Project Based Learning dan satu kelas menggunakan metode pembelajaran lain. Pembelajaran dilakukan secara blendid, kombinasi online dan offline dengan dominasi menggunakan online. Pembelajaran online menggunakan googleclassroom. Teknis analisis data dilakukan dengan uji perbedaan hasil belajar di dua kelas, sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis.
