THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) FOR IMPROVING CRITICAL THINKING AND STUDENT’S ACHIEVEMENT Sri Rahayu; Johanes Sapri; Alexon Alexon

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve critical thinking and learning achievement of students and to know the effectiveness of the implementation of this model. The research methods were classroom action research and quasi experimental. The subjects of classroom action research were 10 students of Class V Public Elementary School 07 Talang Empat Bengkulu Tengah. The quasi-experimental population of the experiments is the 5th grader of SDN 05 Talang Empat and the samples are the V A class students as the experimental class and V B as the control class, each class consisted of 15 students. Data collection techniques for Classroom Action Research (CAR) were observation sheets to observe critical thinking activities and test instruments to measure achievement of learning objectives, and for quasi- experiments were test instruments. Data was analysed by measuring mean and t-test. The results of this study show: 1) there is an increase in critical thinking of students who learn with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in every cycle; 2) there is an increase in student achievement with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, and it make learning more effective. This study aims to (1) describe how the improvement of social skill ability through learning Model Jurisprudential Inquiry in social studies learning in grade V SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa (2) describe how the improvement of student achievement in learning social studies through learning Model Jurisprudential Inquiry in social studies learning in class V SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa (3) describes how the effectiveness of Learning Model Yurisprudential Inquiry to improve student achievement in learning social studies in class V SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa. The research is a classroom action research combined with quasi experiments. The subjects of this study are VA class students and VB SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa class as PTK and experimental class. While the class VC SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa, as a control class. The results of this study indicate that the application of learning yurisprudential inquiry model can: (1) improve social skills in social studies learning, (2) Application of learning model Jurisprudential Inquiry can improve achievement in learning social studies, (3) Effectiveness of application of learning model Jurisprudential Inquiry can improve student achievement on learning IPS class V SDN 06 Pondok Kelapa Keywords: learning model jurisprudential inquiry, social Skills, and learning achievement

THE USING OF GIVING EXERCISE METHODE THROUGH NATURAL-BASED COLLAGE STUDENTS INCREASING CREATIVITY AND MOTORIC SKILL Ira Permatasari; Johanes Sapri; Nina Kurniah

This research conducted to investigate the effect of giving the exercise through natural-based collage methode toward increasing fine motoric skill on B1 class PAUD Semarak Sanggar. This Research, was classroom action research, where the subject was 17 students in B1 class of Paud Semarak Sanggar Arga Makmur. Furthermore, the researcher observed the teacher and the students.Then, the researcher used the means score to see the effect oh this methode. In adition, the result of this research showed that there was a significant effect of increasing the creativity and the fine motoric skill through giving exercise methode. The result of increasing creativity in which, t-obtain > t-table (2,281 > 1,746). Furthermore, increasing of fine motoric skill showed that t-obtain > t-table (3,665 > 1,746) it means that Ho rejected. It can be concluded that, giving exercise methode through natural-based collage was has a significant effect of increasing the creativity and fine motoric skill students. This study aims to describe scientific attitudes and student achievement as well as to know the effectiveness of the application of experimental method to student achievement.The method used in this research is a combination method of classroom action research and quasi experiment.The research subject is a class action fifth grade students of State Elementary School 03 Taba Penanjung year 2016/2017 2nd half totaled 22 students.The population of this quasi-experimental research is all the students of grade V of State Elementary School of Class II Taba Penanjung Bengkulu Tengah. The sample of his research was selected by two classes at the Central Elementary School 07 Taba Penanjung Bengkulu Tengah that is class VA and VB.Technique of collecting data using observation sheet and test.Data analysis uses mean and t-test. The results concluded that: (1) Application of experimental methodcan improve students' scientific attitude;(2) Application of experiment method can significantly improve student's learning achievement, and (3) Application of effective experiment method can effectively improve student's learning achievement. The purpose of this study is: 1) To describe the application of inquiry learning model can improve logical thinking of grade V students SDN.03 Gugus I Tanjung Agung Palik Subdistrict, North Bengkulu Regency. 2) To describe the application of inquiry learning model can improve student achievement class V SDN.03 Gugus I Kecamatan Tanjung Agung Palik North Bengkulu District. 3) To describe the application of inquiry learning model effectively improve mathematics learning achievement of grade V students SDN.03 Gugus I Kecamatan Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency. This research is a classroom action research with the subject of the research is teachers and students of class V A as class of PTK and class V B as experimental class in SDN 03 Tanjung Agung Palik I District of Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency consist of three cycles. Data collection through observation, assessment and test sheets. Data analysis using averages and ?: test (ti: test). The quasi-experimental population of VA classes is 15 students, consisting of 7 men and 8 female students. And as a class control VB class also consists of 15 students, consisting of 9 male students and 6 female students. The result of the research can be concluded that the application of inquiry learning model can: 1) improve students' logical thinking ability in mathematics lesson in SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik, 2) improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik, 3) The application of inquiry learning model effectively increase the learning achievement of class V students in SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik I District of Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency, if through the preparation, planning, implementation, observation and reflection in quasi experimental research. This research aims to (1) describe how to apply the jurisprudential learning models in improving students socialskill in social study lesson for 8 grade at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi, (2) to describe whether the application of the jurisprudential learning models could improve students learning achievement in social study lesson at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi, (3) to describe whether the effectiveness of Jurisprudential learning model application in improving students achievement in learning social study for the students at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. This research conducted was classroom action research which combined with Quasi-experiment. The subject of this study were students of VIII SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. On this Research The data technique collection are use observation and Test. The technique of analysis data is t- test. The condusion of outcome of The Research That Jurisprudential Model Learning effective for increase in social skill and student achievement.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of video tutorial learning on student learning achievement. The experimental design was used in this study. There were 48 students consists of 20 men and 28 women as respondents in the study. Data collection uses multiple choice objective tests with 5 answer choices. Test questions have been tested to see their validity and reliability. Data analysis using statistical assistance, namely the t test. The results of the study show that there is an influence of learning by using tutorial videos on student learning achievement. The use of tutorial videos in learning can be applied to other fields of study.

This study aims to determine the application of part-whole methods can improve team collaboration and short service skills of students in class VII.5 in SMP 14 Kota Bengkulu. The research used Kemmis Mc Taggrat's class action research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.5 SMP 14 Kota Bengkulu. Data collection techniques used were test instruments and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used t-test. The results of this study indicate that the application of the part-whole method can improve team collaboration and short service skills of students well. The implication in this study is using the part-whole method, students are better able to implement teamwork as a whole and are able to perform effective short services.

This research aim to obtain information concerning to the effect of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model and self regulated learning toward learning achievement. The research was conducted by using experiment model with design factorial two way analysis in testing hypothesis. In this research, involves 56 from cluster random sampling 86 student’s fifth grade MI Nurul Huda Bengkulu City. Data obtained with the self regulated learning questionnaire instrument self regulated learning and learning achievement data obtained by learning achievement test. The results of two way analysis data shows that students who study with MMP models that have high self regulated learning get better achievement than students who have low self regulated learning, but there is not the influence of MMP models learning and self regulated learning. This reseach recommendations addressed to the teacher in order to take advantage of the learning model is more varied to meet the learning need of studens who have diverse self regulated learning.

THE INFLUENCE OF LEARNING METHOD AND COGNITIVE STYLE MODELS ON CLASS IV STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Rita Afrina; Bambang Sahono; Turdjai Turdjai

The objective of this research is to know the effect of cooperative learning method (Jigsaw and TPS) and cognitive style on students’ learning outcomes of science. The research was applied to 36 students on fourth grade of SDN 07 Kota Bengkulu, which are 18 students applied jigsaw and 18 students applied TPS. This research used an experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design. Data was collected through questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test. The results of this research are: (1) learning outcomes of students applied jigsaw are higher than learning outcomes of students applied TPS; (2) learning outcomes between field independent students do not have a significant difference with field dependent students; (3) there is an interaction between learning method and the cognitive style of students towards the students’ learning outcomes; (4) Learning outcomes of field independent students applied jigsaw are higher than field independent students applied TPS; (5) learning outcomes between field dependent students applied jigsaw do not have a significant difference with field dependent students applied TPS.
