Jurnal Arrabona
Jurnal Arrabona merupakan wadah publikasi ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M), Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Arrabona Bogor. Jurnal Arrabona menerima artikel dari semua dosen, mahasiswa, dan alumni di lingkungan Sekolah Tinggi Teologi, maupun institusi lain yang memiliki bidang kajian yang sama. Artikel yang dikirim haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat dalam jurnal lainnya. Artikel yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak artikel yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind-review. Focus dan Scope Jurnal Arrabona, yaitu: Biblika, Dogmatika, Misiologi, Apologetika, Historika, dan Praktika. Jurnal Arrabona terbit dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus, serta menyediakan akses terbuka langsung ke isinya (content).

<![CDATA[The goal of this writing is to describe theological perspective of youth self image and to elaborate factors that influence its forming in order to find strategic principles in the youth ministry. Human being is created in perfect self image based on God’s image. This self image is totally corrupted when man fell into the sin. A positive self image of youth should be built up starting from the renewing in Christ. Further, are the roles of the church and the authoritative figures around the youth most decisive in forming a positive self image of the youth. I recommend, as writer, to the church and adult people around the youth to use strategic principles in the youth ministry.]]>

<![CDATA[This work explore the difference between theology and politics, the impact of theology into politics and the integration of theology and politics. Politics might not be avoided in its positive meaning and when it does not violate morality and religious norm in its practise. If politics has nothing to do with God (read: theology) or avoids it, then its methods, even its rules, are surely wrong and its implementation will, therefore, be far away from good ethics. Put in another way, all human efforts both in politics and theology should be understood and applied integratively for both are essentially one. This integrative knowledge will grant positive impact in its implementation. It is recommended to church leaders and lay men to understand the integration of theology and politics and to give positive impact on the society.]]>

<![CDATA[This writing contains the basis of God’s revelation to man as it is found in Genesis 1-11. All Scriptures (66 books) are God’s word without exception. Critical studies are insufficient to applied to God’s word, for He is our Creator and Judge, to whom we all are in charge. By understanding God in the Old Testament according to His work of creation, we - then - come to conclusion that God’s mission to all people / nations is mostly needed. Man will surely die without God. God’s heart and mission are clearly seen in Genesis 1-11. The teachings revealed in these chapters are still relevant for the believers now. This writing is recommended to pastors to comprehend mission based on the bible and to teach them to the church goers.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of various kinds of religions and beliefs in Indonesia, naturally leads to various kinds of understanding of the precepts of the Almighty God. This fact cannot be avoided, because each religion is based on the conception and teachings of its own religion. Moreover, each religion has its own sacred book. This often leads to serious debates between adherents of one religion with another and not even rarely cause disputes. This fact is also what often cornered and branded Christianity as a polytheistic religion. The question is, is it true that Christianity is a polytheistic religion? Is it true that God is three? Is it true that unity in Christianity makes no sense at all? Or is Christianity the opposite which is true monotheism? It is on this basis that the writer raises this point as an attempt to provide an explanation, description and answer to those who do not understand the conception of oneness according to the Bible.]]>

<![CDATA[Gereja dan Pendidikan Kristen adalah dua lembaga yang saling terkait dan terikat. Terikat dalam tujuan final yang sama, yakni pemberitaan Injil atau amanat agung Kristus. Gereja menjalankan perannya membina umat kepada kedewasaan rohani, demikian juga sekolah atau pendidikan Kristen memerlengkapi murid dalam pengetahuan akan kebenaran. Filosopinya harus didasarkan pada pemahaman yang sama tentang Alkitab sebagai dasar untuk melayani. Alkitab berkonsentrasi pada pemberitaan tentang Allah pencipta tetapi juga penebus yang membawa manusia kepada pemahaman yang benar tentang tujuan hidupnya. <![CDATA[Penyakit jiwa dan kerasukan setan adalah dua masalah yang sering ditemui dalam pelayanan. Namun, tidak semua pelayan kompeten dalam melayani mereka yang sedang menderita penyakit tersebut dan mengalami gangguan kerasukan setan. Bahkan cenderung keliru dalam menanganinya. Hal ini disebabkan kedua masalah ini seringkali menunjukkan gejala yang hampir sama. Akan tetapi kedua malasah ini mempunyai gejala yang berbeda. Penyakit jiwa memang diakui sangat beragam. Karena itu tulisan ini, hanya akan membahas salah satu dari sekian banyak penyakit yang tergolong penyakit jiwa yakni Skizofrenia. Skizofrenia adalah gangguan jiwa yang ditandai dengan gangguan proses berpikir dan tanggapan emosi yang lemah. Keadaan ini pada umumnya dimanifestasikan dalam bentuk halusinasi pendengaran, paranoid atau waham yang ganjil, atau cara berbicara dan berpikir yang kacau, dan disertai dengan disfungsi sosial dan pekerjaan yang signifikan.[1] Sedangkan kerasukan setan berarti seseorang dalam pengendalian/penguasaan secara mutlak oleh setan yang meliputi kehendak dan kekuatan manusia. Penanganan untuk skizofrenia yang paling sesuai dengan hasil penelitian mutakhir ada di Inggris. Yang ditandai dengan dikeluarkannya keputusan oleh Menteri Kesehatan bahwa penanganan untuk skizofrenia pada dasarnya adalah terapi obat antipsikotik. Pada saat yang sama, pasien skizofrenia selalu diberikan tawaran untuk mendapatkan terapi kognitif perilaku untuk skizofrenia dari psikolog klinis dewasa. Penanganan untuk orang-orang yang dirasuk setan adalah mengusir setan yang merasukinya dan membimbingnya datang kepada Tuhan Yesus sebagai JuruselamatNya. Sebab orang percaya tidak akan dapat dikuasai setan sebab Roh Kudus yang ada dalam dirinya lebih besar dari kuasa apa pun. Tuhan Yesus tak akan memberikan pencobaan melampaui kekuatannya. Karena itu, penting mengenali ciri dari kedua masalah itu agar dapat memberi pelayanan sebagaimana seharusnya. Pelayan tidak melakukan tindakan keliru dengan semua kondisi yang mirip kerasukan setan diusir dengan menengking setan, seperti tindakan gegabah yang dilakukan orang yang tak memahaminya.
