Abstract

The Mucuna bracteata plant breeding training aims to improve students knowledge and skills in vegetative and generative plant propagation. Plant breeding is a combination of art, science and technology in assembling the genetic diversity of a particular plant population to be better or superior than before. Community service activities were carried out on Thursday, May 15, 2025 using socialization and training methods. This activity involved the active participation of participants in all stages of the process. This training covers the topic of vegetative and generative plant propagation. The training showed positive results where participants were able to understand how to select cuttings and prepare mucuna seeds and plant the cuttings and mucuna seeds in the planting medium. Keywords: mucuna, plant breeding, plant propagation

Abstract

AbstrakProses mapenaling merupakan praktik yang bertujuan untuk mempererat hubungan individu dengan Allah, serta memperbaiki hubungan antara diri sendiri dengan lingkungan sekitar. Aktivitas ini memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam peningkatan kesehatan mental individu, mengingat dampaknya yang positif dalam memberikan ketenangan batin, mengurangi tingkat stres, serta memperbaiki keseimbangan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang bagaimana proses mapenaling mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis seseorang, serta peranannya dalam mengelola faktor-faktor yang berpotensi menyebabkan gangguan mental seperti kecemasan dan depresi. Dalam kerangka spiritual yang terstruktur, mapenaling tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk memperdalam ikatan dengan Tuhan, tetapi juga sebagai media untuk mendukung penyembuhan mental dengan cara memperkuat keyakinan individu terhadap agamanya. Proses ini diyakini dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis, karena memberikan landasan yang kokoh bagi individu dalam menghadapi tekanan hidup sehari-hari.Kata kunci: mapenaling, kesehatan mental, kesejahteraan psikologis

Abstract

Education in Madrasah faces the challenge of developing learning methods that are in line with the needs of the 21st century, especially with the rapid development of technology. Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enable deeper understanding and relevant applications to improve the quality of teaching. The purpose of this service activity is to introduce the use of AI such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to create more efficient lesson plans, as well as interactive applications such as Canva and Heyzine to create engaging teaching materials. The methods used are workshop-based training and direct simulations. The results of the training showed a significant ability of teachers to use technology in creating lesson plans with a Deep Learning approach and utilizing AI in preparing lesson plans as well as using Canva and Heyzine technology in interactive teaching materials.

Abstract

This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the Ngabungbang Tradition as a Form of Social Identity in the Cimande Village Community, utilizing Clifford Geertz's Interpretive Anthropology perspective. The research approach employed in this study is qualitative with a descriptive method. For informant selection, a purposive sampling technique was utilized. Thefindings indicate that the history of the Ngabungbang tradition in Cimande Village initially originated from napak tilas (following in the footsteps/pilgrimage) or gatherings of teachers and students who sought to learn pencak silat. Over time, other rituals evolved, such as mapag mulud (welcoming the Prophet's birthday month), keuceran (washing of sacred heirlooms), bathing in Cikamalayan, and pilgrimages to the tombs of the revered elders. Based on these developments, this tradition has become an integral part of the Cimande Village community's social identity, with its peak event routinely held every 14th of Rabi' al-Awwal, the month of Prophet Muhammad's birth. The symbols present in this tradition consist of cai (water), bathing, prayer, heirlooms, and the tombs of the elders. Social interactions within this tradition occur among people from various backgrounds, such as the gathering of students who once learned silat in Cimande. The overall meaning of the Ngabungbang tradition in Cimande Village is to purify oneself by discarding negative aspects with the intention of repenting to Allah SWT. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya strategis dalam mengoptimalkan pendanaan riset melalui Hibah BIMA Kemdiktisaintek tahun 2025. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk membimbing dosen dalam menyusun proposal penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berkualitas dan sesuai dengan kriteria pendanaan hibah BIMA. Kepuasan peserta diukur menggunakan kuesioner berbasis SERVQUAL dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank melalui aplikasi Jamovi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta terhadap kegiatan sangat positif dan signifikan secara statistik, terutama pada aspek kompetensi fasilitator. Namun demikian, alokasi waktu bimbingan masih dirasakan terbatas oleh sebagian peserta. Dampak dari kegiatan ini tercermin dari meningkatnya jumlah proposal yang berhasil didanai, serta posisi Universitas Sulawesi Barat dalam daftar 20 besar penerima hibah terbanyak dalam skema penelitian. Pengembangan lebih lanjut disarankan melalui sesi lanjutan dan bimbingan daring untuk meningkatkan kualitas proposal dan peluang keberhasilan pendanaan.

Abstract

Ruptur perineum sering menjadi komplikasi pada persalinan, khususnya pada persalinan pervaginam. Faktor penting terjadinya ruptur perineum salah satunya yaitu faktor maternal. Komplikasi yang dapat ditimbulkan akibat ruptur perineum yaitu inkontinensia urin atau alvi, dan menimbulkan gangguan berupa nyeri saat melakukan hubungan seksual yaitu dispareunia. Mengingat besarnya masalah yang ditimbulkan, sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif perlu dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan tentang penyebab ruptur perineum dari segi maternal. Kegiatan ini mempunyai dua tahapan yaitu tahap pertama merupakan perencanaan kegiatan dan tahap kedua pemberian edukasi dengan beberapa tahapan kegiatan yaitu pre-test, pemberian materi, dan post-test. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 30 ibu hamil di Kelurahan Jempong Baru, Kecamatan Sekarbela, Kota Mataram.Hasil dari pendidikan kesehatan ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil sebelum dan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang penyebab ruptur perineum dari segi maternal sebagai upaya meminimalisir terjadinya robekan akibat laserasi saat bersalin.

Abstract

Abstract: The increasingly massive use of social media among teenagers plays a significant role in shaping self-concept, both positively and negatively. This counseling aims to educate students of Muhammadiyah Parakan Vocational School about the impact of social media on self-concept and provide strategies in overcoming identity crises that can arise from excessive media exposure. Based on Charles Horton Cooley's Looking-Glass Self theory, teenagers tend to form their self-image through perceptions and feedback received from the social environment, including online media. In addition, Erik Erikson's psychosocial development theory explains that teenagers are in the stage of searching for identity (identity vs. role confusion), where they are vulnerable to experiencing role confusion due to social comparisons that occur in digital media. The methods used in this counseling include material presentation, interactive discussions, and simulations to help students understand and manage the influence of social media on their self-concept. The expected results of this activity are increased student awareness of the psychological impact of social media and their ability to build a healthier and more positive self-identity

Abstract

The UNMUH BABEL Community Service Program (KKN) at the Batu Mentas Village Community Service Center (LPHD) is located in Badau Village, Belitung Regency, which boasts beautiful tropical forests, clear streams, large rock formations, and a camping area. However, visual facilities, such as photo spots, are still limited. This community service activity aimed to create a creative, triangular photo spot made from bamboo and wood that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The method used was a participatory approach, involving tourism managers in every stage, from site identification and design planning to material processing, to installation and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the photo spot received a positive response from tourism managers and has the potential to become an effective promotional tool through social media posts. This innovation is expected to increase tourist visits, strengthen the destination's image as a sustainable ecotourism destination, and provide economic benefits to the local community.

Abstract

Innovative product development training serves as a strategic effort to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that utilize local resource potential. This article discusses a product innovation training program implemented for KAUDAFA MSME, which processes moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) as the main ingredient in food and beverage products in Teluk Limau Village, Parittiga District, West Bangka Regency. The primary goal of this training is to improve product quality through innovations in processing techniques, packaging design, and digital marketing strategies to expand market reach. This study employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the participants' capacity to develop moringa-based innovative products has significantly improved, which in turn contributes to the sustainable economic development of the local community.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve the activeness of students at Nurul Jadid Senior High School by implementing educational games as part of the learning process. Many students were initially passive, rarely asking questions, giving opinions, or participating in discussions. The research used a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) design with two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ activeness: in the first cycle, only 45% of students actively participated, while in the second cycle, participation increased to 82%. The implementation of educational games successfully changed the students’ passive character into a more active and engaged attitude in the classroom.
