Abstract

Background - Employee performance is the ability of employees to carry out tasks, and performance is very necessary because with this performance it will be known how far the employee's ability to carry out the tasks assigned by the company. Employee performance will be very important for CV. Jauhan Engineering Indonesia, which is engaged in contracting, relies on the active role of all its Human Resources to improve employee performance. Objectives – This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, discipline, motivation and work environment on the performance of employees at CV. Distance Engineering Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach – This research is a quantitative study with data collection techniques using primary data and informant data collection using questionnaires or questionnaire surveys. Findings - The results of this study indicate that the variables of leadership, motivation, and discipline have a positive and significant effect on the performance of CV employees. Distance Engineering Indonesia. While the Work Environment variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of CV employees. Distance Engineering Indonesia. Research Implications – This research can be used as a reference for CV. Juhan Engineering Indonesia to improve employee performance by prioritizing leadership patterns and paying attention, making absolute decisions / decisions, motivating, communicating or directing employees, being firm, and giving punishments. Research Limitations - Research conducted by researchers has limitations, namely only focusing on permanent employees CV. Just stay away from Engineering Indonesia.

Abstract

Background - PT Pelindo III is located at PT Pelindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Ship visits in the last three years have increased. Based on a report published on the official website of PT Pelindo III, namely an increase from 2015–2017 was 77,104,361 Gross Tonage in 2015, then 92,622,356 Gross Tonage in 2016, and 94,346,201 Gross Tonage in 2017. Objective - This study aims to determine the causes and impacts of risks that may occur due to non-achievement of performance standards (ET:BT) Berthing Time for ship services at PT Pelindo III Gresik Branch and identify the biggest risks. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research is a qualitative research using primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews and documentation. Findings - The results of this study indicate that there are four risks, namely: Dwelling Time, Idle Time and High Notes, Ship Queuing, and Trucking. The biggest risk is in Dwelling Time with a probability value of 0.96 which means that the level of risk posed is very risky. Research implications - This research contributes to employees who work at PT Pelindo III Gresik Branch who knows operational conditions both in the field and outside the field. Research limitations - This research was only conducted on the operational system of PT Pelindo III Gresik Branch

Abstract

Background - The quality of the principal's leadership, the school environment and discipline at school do not affect student achievement, because basically an educational institution is expected to provide good teaching services and produce outstanding students. This is evidenced by the influence of achievement at SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sukodadi, Lamongan. Objective - The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, school environment, and discipline on student achievement at SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sukodadi, Lamongan. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach, the instruments used in this study used a questionnaire with the variables of Principal Leadership, School Environment, and Discipline on Student Achievement with the aim of obtaining information from respondents. Findings - The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the principal's leadership on student achievement with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and there is an influence of the school environment on student achievement with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 and there is an influence of discipline on student achievement with a significance value of 0.029 with a coefficient 70% determination. Research implications - This research contributes to leadership, environment and discipline in schools in order to maintain the quality of student achievement at SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sukodadi, Lamongan. Research limitations - This research is only conducted on employees who carry out dual roles at PT Mustika Karya Anugrah Surabaya. This research was only conducted on students of SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Sukodadi, Lamongan.

Abstract

Background - The close relationship between the dual roles of women and work productivity often triggers conflict between the two. The emergence of multiple role conflicts often results in employees not being focused at work. Failure to concentrate in doing a job makes the work target mismatch. Objective - The research conducted to analyze double roles and management of conflict that occured on employee of, especially in women. In this research, we are using qualitative method with descriptive approach. Design/Methodology/Approach - The data gathering technic that are used in this research is Semi Structured Interview. Findings - The research found out that application of double roles in Logistik Facilities Company give positive and negative impacts. The positive impact that women employee feels such as they could actually help their own family economy rather than being dependant with their Husband paycheck. In other hand, by working, women employee feel that they could actualize themselves better. With positive outcome that mentioned above, we also found the negative impact such as, women employee feels that it is actually impossible to do both roles at the same time. Research implication - This research can be used as material for consideration for companies with multiple roles. Research Limitations - This study has limitations on factors in the background of multiple roles.

Abstract

Background - People have started to switch from traditional coffee shops to cafes as Gresik's business has grown. According to the data, the number of traditional coffee shops in Bungah District has been declining while the number of cafes has begun to increase. For their coffee shops to remain in business in the future, traditional owners must comprehend the significance of finances. Objective - This study aims to test the influence of financial attitude, financial knowledge and locus of control on financial management behavior through education levels in coffee shops in Bungah District. Design/Methodology/Approach - This study is quantitative in nature. Based on the Krejcie table, the study's population consisted of coffee shop owners in the Bungah District. A total of 181 coffee shops were sampled for the study using incidental sampling procedures, or sampling methods based only on chance. The findings of distributing questionnaires to respondents—coffee shop owners in the Bungah District—serve as the major data source for this study. Subjective data in the form of written questionnaire replies is the type of data that is employed. Multiple linear regression analysis is the type of analysis model that was employed in this investigation. Findings - The findings demonstrate that financial management behavior is influenced by the variables of financial attitude, financial knowledge, and locus of control. The relationship between financial attitude, financial knowledge, and locus of control on financial management behavior cannot be moderated by education level. Research implications - This study helps coffee shop owners maintain their financial behavior by educating them on the significance of financial attitudes, financial knowledge, locus of control, and educational attainment. Research limitations - Because this study was restricted to coffee shops in the Bungah District and employed a number of constrained variables, it was unable to accurately represent the financial practices of coffee shop owners generally.

Abstract

Background - Performance can be achieved if the company has good human resources and has high performance, but the performance of employees within an organization or company does not always increase, sometimes the performance of employees in the company also decreases. Employee performance will be very important for PT. Langgeng Jaya Plastindo which relies on the active role of all its Human Resources to improve employee performance. Aim - This study aims to determine the partial effect of leadership, compensation and work discipline on the performance of employees in the production division of PT Langgeng Jaya Plastindo Gresik. Design / Methodology / Approach - This study uses a quantitative method approach. The population in this study, namely PT. Langgeng Jaya Plastindo Gresik. The sample in this study used the Isaac and Michae sample method with a significance level of 5% from a total population of 140, so the sample taken was 100 employees. Data collection techniques using primary data and informant data collection using questionnaires or questionnaire surveys using data instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t test and coefficient of determination) with the help of SPSS program. Findings - The results of this study indicate that the variables of Leadership (X1), Compensation (X2) and Work Discipline (X3) each partially have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) the Adjusted R square value of 0.609. This shows that 60.9% of the variation in employee performance variables can be explained by leadership, compensation and work discipline, while the remaining 39.1% can be explained by other factors outside of this study. Research Implication – The results of this study are expected to be input and as additional information for the company in leadership, compensation, and work discipline on employee performance at PT Langgeng Jaya Plastindo. Limitations - The limitation of this study is that it only uses three variables while there are many other factors that can affect employee performance related to the findings of phenomena that may occur in the company.

Abstract

Background – Behavioral phenomenon organizational citizenship behavior of Gresik wheat flour company employees on the indicators of altruism, conscientiousness, civic virtue, and courtesy is indicated to be still quite low, while behavior on sportmanship indicators can be applied properly. Objective – This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior in permanent employees of the Gresik wheat flour company. Design / Methodology / Approach – This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 57 respondents using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. Findings – The results showed that organizational culture, organizational commitment and job satisfaction partially had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior in permanent employees of the Gresik wheat flour company. Research Implication – This research can be used as a reference for the Gresik wheat flour company to encourage employee organizational citizenship behavior by strengthening the existing organizational culture within the company and paying attention to factors that can increase employee commitment and satisfaction. Limitations – This research has limitations only in a relatively small sample size, so it is considered less representative.

Abstract

Background – The use of integrated marketing communication strategies has become increasingly important in today's business world to achieve consistent and effective communication goals. PT. BPW Shafira Lintas Semesta conducted this research to analyze the implementation strategy of integrated marketing communication they utilize. In the complex business environment, understanding how various marketing elements interact with each other can be a key to success. Aim – The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation strategy of integrated marketing communication conducted by PT. BPW Shafira Lintas Semesta. This study aims to gain insights into how the company combines various elements of marketing communication in their efforts to achieve their business goals. Design / Methodology / Approach – This research employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews and observations at PT. BPW Shafira Lintas Semesta. The collected data is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The qualitative approach is used to gain in-depth understanding of the integrated marketing communication strategy implemented by the company. Findings – The results of this research indicate that PT. BPW Shafira Lintas Semesta employs an integrated marketing communication model involving various elements such as advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publicity, online marketing and social media, direct and data-based marketing, as well as personal selling. This integrated approach provides insights into how the company coordinates various communication aspects to achieve their marketing goals. Research Implications – The findings of this research could have significant implications for other companies looking to adopt integrated marketing strategies. This study can provide insights into how to organize and manage various marketing elements to mutually support each other and generate a greater impact. Limitations – This research has several limitations, such as its focus on only one company (PT. BPW Shafira Lintas Semesta) and the use of qualitative methods that may not allow for broad generalizations. Additionally, the study is constrained by time and resource availability.

Abstract

Background - Companies want to succeed in their business. Companies must be able to develop their human resources in order to drive progress for the company. Productivity is a very old concept, but it is still relevant today. The renewed interest in productivity reflects public awareness of the impact of productivity on economic growth, living standards, and competitiveness. PT XYZ has not achieved its production target for the past three years, indicating compromised productivity. Objectives - This study aims to look at employee productivity at PT XYZ by looking at motivation, compensation, and work environment as variables that support or weaken productivity. Design / Methodology / Approach - In this study, the approach used is a quantitative approach. Data collection in the form of a questionnaire was used to obtain data. Multiple linear regression was used to test the truth of the hypothesis proposed in the study. Findings - Motivation has been shown to have an effect on productivity. Compensation has been shown to have no effect on productivity. The work environment has been shown to have no effect on productivity. Research Implications - This study provides an overview of productivity in companies that can be supported by employee motivation, but not by compensation and work environment. PT XYZ has homework to restore the rhythm of its employees' work productivity by stabilizing the work environment and providing compensation.

Abstract

Background - The need for fuel oil is a primary need for fishermen, this is an important role for PT Gresik Migas as the manager of the Gas Station, which is a retail business that is an extension of Pertamina to maintain the availability of fuel oil in the community with good inventory control. Objectives - This study aims to describe the inventory control that has been carried out by the company and compare it with the Economic Order Quantity inventory control method. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used are unstructured interviews, structured interviews, documentation and focused group discussions. Findings - The results of this study state that the inventory control carried out by PT Gresik Migas is less effective and often occurs overstock and stockout because there are no provisions for the order quantity and order time. Meanwhile, inventory control using the Economic Order Quantity method is considered more effective to avoid overstock and stockout with an order quantity of 16,912 liters for Bio Solar and 6,724 liters for Pertalite, with the time to place an order at the inventory point of 15,000 liters for Bio Solar and 6,000 liters for Pertalite. Research Implications - The findings of this study can be used as a reference if further research faces conditions similar to the findings in this study. Research Limitations - This research has limitations on fuel demand forecasting.
