Abstract

Medical records are important documents that contain patient identification, examination results, treatments, procedures, and services provided during care. The completeness and consistency of medical record documentation serve as a crucial source of information for hospital management in evaluating and improving the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to review the implementation of medical record analysis in the pediatric ward. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques that included interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with medical record analysis staff and the deputy head of the pediatric ward. At the same time, observations were carried out using a checklist on 10 patient medical record files from the pediatric ward in December 2024. The results showed that the implementation of medical record analysis in the pediatric ward was conducted only quantitatively, while qualitative analysis had never been performed. The components of important report completeness and documentation showed a 100% completeness rate. However, in the patient identification section, specifically in gender, and in the authentication section for the nurse’s name, some forms were incomplete, resulting in an overall completeness rate of only 97.5%. The main obstacle in the implementation of the analysis was the transition process from manual medical records to electronic medical records, which required staff to conduct dual quantitative analyses in both formats.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment and communication skills on employee performance at HW Hotel Padang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 57 respondents who are employees of HW Hotel Padang. The results of the study show that both the work environment and communication skills have a significant effect on employee performance. The majority of respondents gave positive responses regarding the condition of the work environment and communication skills in the workplace. Furthermore, communication skills were found to have a more dominant influence than the work environment in improving performance. This study highlights the importance of creating a conducive work environment and enhancing communication skills as strategic efforts to improve employee performance in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

This study discusses the budgeting oversight function of the Bandung City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) on the 2023 Regional Budget (APBD) from the perspective of siyasah dusturiyyah. The background of the study lies in the suboptimal budget supervision, which affects the effectiveness of regional development. The aim of this research is to analyze the extent to which the Bandung City DPRD carries out its oversight function and how the impacts and obstacles reflect the principles of good governance and the values of siyasah dusturiyyah. Using an empirical juridical approach through interviews and literature study, this research finds that although supervision is carried out through DPRD commissions, challenges such as limited human resources and political dominance continue to hinder its effectiveness. The siyasah dusturiyyah approach offers ethical and spiritual dimensions that strengthen oversight to be more oriented toward public welfare.

Abstract

In general, the condition of drainage systems in various cities across Indonesia is facing a wide range of problems. An effective drainage system plays a crucial role in preventing floods and waterlogging, especially in densely populated urban areas such as Depok City. With the rapid pace of urbanization, the drainage infrastructure in Depok is confronted with multiple challenges, both technical and environmental in nature. This article examines the current state of the drainage system in Depok by utilizing reliable data and documenting real-life occurrences observed in the field. Through an in-depth analysis of rainfall data, the physical condition of drainage channels, and several flooding incidents that have occurred in recent years, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the situation. It also seeks to offer practical and strategic recommendations to improve drainage management in the area, thereby supporting better urban planning, disaster mitigation, and sustainable infrastructure development in the long term.

Abstract

Healthcare services in hospitals involve a high level of complexity, making them prone to conflicts both within and outside the institution. The implementation of quality management still faces numerous obstacles, as evidenced by the lack of staff awareness regarding quality management, frequent conflicts, and unclear coordination, communication, and information pathways. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the roles, functions, and authorities of the governing body and the hospital director in quality management practices. The research design uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main informants are the governing body and the hospital director, while the triangulation informants include attending physicians, nurses, and the quality team leader. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using content analysis. The results show that while the roles and functions of the governing body have been implemented, its authority has not been fully optimized. Likewise, the roles and authority of the director have been carried out, but the functions have not been optimally implemented. The study recommends allocating a budget for off-site training, creating guidelines for documentation and reporting, developing performance evaluation manuals, preparing evaluation checklists, and establishing internal satisfaction assessments.

Abstract

The construction of a multi-story parking building in densely populated areas such as Plaza 6 Pondok Indah is a response to limited land availability and the increasing demand for parking facilities. This project employs modern construction methods, such as minipile foundations and precast structural systems, to accelerate project timelines and maintain on-site efficiency. This study aims to directly examine the implementation process and structural systems used on-site, as well as evaluate their effectiveness in terms of technical performance and construction time. Data were collected through direct observation at the project site, technical documentation, and informal discussions with project personnel. Emphasis was placed on the stages of foundation work, substructure components such as pile caps and tie beams, and the installation of precast components on each floor. Additionally, the installation of steel structures was an essential aspect of this study. Observations revealed that the use of precast floor slabs significantly reduced construction time by minimizing the need for formwork and scaffolding. The steel frame system provided advantages in installation flexibility and faster on-site mobilization. The selection of minipiles as the foundation type was also appropriate for the limited land space and moderate soil bearing capacity. Overall, the construction methods used in this project offered substantial benefits in terms of time and on-site efficiency. This study may serve as an initial reference for similar projects, particularly in utilizing a combination of steel structures, precast elements, and deep foundations.

Abstract

The use of heavy equipment in construction work has become a key solution to improving project execution efficiency and effectiveness. One critical phase in construction is excavation for substructure elements such as tie beams and pile caps, which require precision and speed during implementation. This study discusses the application of a mini excavator for substructure excavation work in the Paddle Court development project located at Plaza 6 Pondok Indah. The aim of the study is to evaluate how far the mini excavator can offer advantages in terms of time, cost, labor, and accuracy of the work compared to conventional manual methods. The methodology includes direct field observation, visual documentation, and qualitative analysis of productivity and challenges encountered during implementation. The results show that using a mini excavator can accelerate execution time by up to 60% and significantly reduce labor needs. However, challenges such as limited maneuvering space in tight areas and the need for strict supervision to maintain excavation accuracy were also identified. These findings form the basis for recommendations to contractors in selecting excavation methods based on site conditions, project capacity, and time urgency. Therefore, the use of a mini excavator is an effective solution to enhance project productivity, particularly for large-volume substructure work in areas with adequate working space. This research is expected to serve as a technical reference for similar future construction projects.

Abstract

In Islam, the husband is the leader of the household, so the strong or weak leadership of the husband determines the course of the household. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of a husband's leadership in the household from an Islamic perspective. This research method is qualitative by using case studies. The research data was taken from primary data in the form of interviews with research subjects and secondary data from various references. The data analysis used is a qualitative analysis with the induction method. The result of this study is an understanding of the importance of the husband's leadership role, including as Roisun, Kabirun, Hakimun, and Muaddibun. The stronger the leadership possessed by the husband, the more it will have an impact on the integrity of the household.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the effect of the cooperative learning model Number Heads Together (NHT) on self-efficacy and mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students. The population of the study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk, totaling 69 students, with 68 students selected as the sample using simple random sampling. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a Single Factor Independent Group Design. The results of the first hypothesis test showed an F-value of 6.026 with a significance of 0.017 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This means there is a significant difference in self-efficacy between students who received the NHT cooperative learning model and those who received conventional learning. The second hypothesis test revealed an F-value of 14.538 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, suggesting a significant difference in students’ science literacy between those taught using portfolio assessment and those with conventional assessment. The third hypothesis test yielded an F-value of 7.965 with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant simultaneous difference in both self-efficacy and learning outcomes between students taught using the NHT model and those taught conventionally.

Abstract

Waste reduction, a target mandated by the Republic of Indonesia's government through legislation, is required of all stakeholders, including the community, involving recycling processes and other advanced methods. This research aims to understand and analyze the achievement of waste reduction by the Joint Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Bersama - KUB) Kembang Setaman. It also seeks to assess the extent of the sustained impact through the application of the reduce, reuse, recycle framework.  Utilizing qualitative research methods with in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation, data verification and validation are conducted through triangulation and a systematic measurement system using mind manager (open coding, axial coding, selective coding). KUB Kembang Setaman has successfully achieved waste reduction through the reduce, reuse, recycle approach by engaging the community, raising awareness, and making positive contributions to economic and environmental aspects. The implementation of the 3R principles has created significant impacts, both directly and in the long term. Waste reduction measures, reuse of items, and recycling have successfully transformed the paradigm regarding waste in this community. The conclusions drawn from this research are twofold: firstly, in reducing the use and disposal of unnecessary items, and secondly, in creating sustained impacts through changes in behavior and mindset regarding waste.
