Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, access to capital, and interest in using e-commerce on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sumbawa Regency. MSMEs are recognized as the backbone of Indonesia's economy, contributing significantly to employment absorption and national Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSME performance still faces several challenges, such as low levels of financial literacy, limited access to capital, and uneven adoption of digital technology. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME actors using stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests to ensure model validity. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, highlighting the importance of cash, credit, and financial planning management skills. Access to capital has the strongest positive influence, emphasizing the vital role of funding in business expansion, innovation, and productivity. Moreover, interest in using e-commerce also has a significant positive effect, indicating that the use of digital platforms can expand market reach and improve efficiency. Overall, these findings underscore the importance of strengthening internal resources such as human capital, financial capacity, and technological adoption as key strategies to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of foster families as catalysts in the process of local cultural transmission and the acceleration of adaptation for students participating in the Twelfth National Community Service Program (KKN Kebangsaan XII) in Negeri Leahari, Ambon City. Using a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method, this study illustrates how the interactions between students and their foster families significantly enhance their understanding of local cultural values and promote deeper social integration. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, followed by thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the foster family system does not merely provide accommodation, but serves as a vital medium for the transmission of cultural values such as pela gandong, mutual cooperation, and the philosophy of hidup orang basudara or communal living. These families act as active agents of social integration by creating an emotionally supportive and culturally rich environment that accelerates students’ adaptation to their new surroundings. The close and affective interactions between students and their foster families facilitate deep cultural internalization, which strengthens the students' ability to engage in cross-cultural communication and collaboration. This research emphasizes that foster families play a strategic role in experiential social education and can serve as an effective model for enhancing intercultural relations in community engagement programs. Their involvement not only enriches the students’ learning experience but also contributes to the preservation and revitalization of local cultural heritage.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quarter-life crisis (QLC) has gained attention in the context of early adulthood psychological development, particularly in relation to the role of parental attachment as a potential protective factor. This study aims to examine the relationship between secure parental attachment and QLC among members of the Karang Taruna youth organization in Siwalan Panji Village, Sidoarjo. This is a quantitative study with a correlational approach, involving the entire population of Karang Taruna members aged 20–30 years, totaling 75 individuals, selected through a saturated sampling technique. The instruments used include the Secure Parental Attachment Scale and the Quarter-Life Crisis Scale, with reliability scores of 0.861 and 0.914, respectively. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25, through normality, linearity, and significance tests. The results showed that secure attachment is significantly and negatively correlated with QLC (p < 0.001), with a contribution rate of 67.1%. In conclusion, the higher the level of secure parental attachment, the lower the risk of experiencing QLC. The study suggests developing intervention models based on parental attachment to support youth psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and work culture on employee performance at the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Solok Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach using a questionnaire. The number of respondents was 73 Satpol PP employees. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely 1) Validity test was tested with Pearson correlation (r count > r table). 2) Reliability was tested with Cronbach Alpha (> 0.60 is considered reliable). 3) Normality test to determine whether the data is normally distributed or not 4) T test to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. 5) F test to determine the effect of leadership and work culture simultaneously on employee performance. 6) Coefficient of Determination (R²) to determine how much the independent variable contributes to explaining the dependent variable. Effective leadership, shown by exemplary attitudes, open communication, and participatory decision-making, as well as a conducive work culture such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, has been proven to be able to increase employee productivity and work quality. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions in efforts to improve the performance of local government apparatus.

Abstract

The legality of cannabis for medical purposes in Indonesia is an evolving issue, driven by increasing scientific evidence of its therapeutic potential and growing public demands for the fulfillment of health rights. This study aims to evaluate the urgency of medical cannabis legalization using a normative juridical approach and an in-depth literature review. The method employed is a literature review with qualitative analysis techniques to identify and examine the gap between the prevailing legal norms in Indonesia and empirical developments and global precedents.  The findings indicate that cannabis contains active compounds such as THC and CBD, which have been proven effective in treating various chronic and neurological medical conditions, such as refractory epilepsy, cancer, and cerebral palsy. However, the classification of cannabis as a Category I narcotic under Law No. 35 of 2009 is a major obstacle to its medical use. These findings suggest the need for adaptive legal reform and health policies based on scientific evidence to ensure public access to safe and effective therapeutic options. In addition, the legalization of medical cannabis, accompanied by strict regulation, also has the potential to reduce dependence on opioids and promote the development of the national phytopharmaceutical industry. Therefore, the legalization of medical cannabis should be considered a strategic step in strengthening the healthcare system and protecting human rights in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at understanding the social interaction abilities of students with special needs (SEN) in schools, as well as the role of the Guidance and Counseling (GC) program in fostering these abilities. The research subjects included the GC teacher, principal, vice principal, SEN students, their peers, and the parents of SEN students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that the school adopts an inclusive approach, providing a special admission pathway for SEN students during enrollment and offering opportunities for participation in school activities such as art performances and Islamic holiday celebrations. GC teachers play an active role in providing individualized counseling services tailored to the needs of the students, and in building communication with homeroom teachers and parents. The social interaction skills of SEN students develop gradually within the school's inclusive and supportive environment. The implemented GC programs are not significantly different from those for regular students but still take into account the individual needs of SEN students. Collaboration between GC teachers, the school, and parents plays a crucial role in supporting the development of the students' social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the use of wearable technology, specifically smartwatches, in improving collaborative learning in Physical Education subjects. Smartwatches function as a direct physical activity monitoring tool, including indicators such as heart rate, number of steps, and duration of activity. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving 60 high school students, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used smartwatches during Physical Education learning activities, while the control group followed the learning without the support of such technology. The results obtained showed that the use of smartwatches had a positive impact on increasing social interaction and cooperation among students. This device encouraged active engagement, provided instant feedback, and increased students' awareness of their physical performance, which then became the subject of discussion in group work. In conclusion, the application of smartwatches in the context of Physical Education learning has the potential to strengthen collaboration between students and increase their participation in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image on consumer purchasing decisions for Naila Cookies products. Brand image is one of the key factors in shaping consumer perceptions of product quality and credibility. The research uses a quantitative associative approach with a total of 30 respondents who are consumers of Naila Cookies. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, with a regression coefficient value of 0.816 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.490 indicates that brand image explains 49% of the variation in purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that the better a product’s brand image, the higher the likelihood of consumer purchases. Therefore, MSMEs like Naila Cookies need to strengthen their brand image to increase customer loyalty and buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business development strategy implemented by PT Agung Logistic to optimize logistics connectivity at Patimban Port, Subang, Indonesia. With the development of Patimban Port as a national strategic project, supply chain efficiency and logistics system integration are crucial for industry players. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies to formulate appropriate business strategy alternatives. The study's results indicate that PT Agung Logistic has a strong opportunity to strengthen its position by improving digital infrastructure, forming strategic partnerships, and using automation technology and logistics information system integration. Recommendations include developing multimodal services, optimizing distribution route management, and collaborating actively with port managers and local governments. This study serves as a strategic reference for PT Agung Logistic to increase competitiveness and operational efficiency in the Patimban Port logistics area.

Abstract

PT. PEB is one of the groups of PT. PBT which is engaged in industry. To support the raw material that is needed by the company, a decision support system is proposed in selecting the best supplier. This study aims to analyze supplier selection and can help provide analysis of suppliers based on the criteria desired by the company, there are 8 criteria, namely low prices, quality goods, timeliness in delivery, availability of goods, good service to customers, delivery time, discounts, and payment due. Then as an alternative, there are 50 suppliers who have collaborated with the company. The selection of the best suppliers was analyzed using the TOPSIS and SAW methods, the results obtained from each method. In the TOPSIS method, CV.AP got the highest score of 0.779 while the SAW method, CV.CH got the highest score of 0.963. Then the results of the calculation program speed of the two methods are also different, the TOPSIS method is completed in 0.0327 seconds and SAW is completed in 0.0371 seconds.
