Abstract

Promotion Strategy of Soponyono Restaurant in Maintaining Customer Existence in Kesu' District, North Toraja Regency” This study aims to answer the questions (1) How is the promotion and promotion strategy carried out by Soponyono Restaurant? (2) How to maintain customer existence? This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection by means of observation, interviews, and documentation with business owners, employees and customers of Soponyono Restaurant. The results obtained from this study are the Promotional Strategy of Soponyono Restaurant using promotional media using social media, namely WhatsApp and YouTube and how to maintain customer existence by being kind, polite and friendly to customers and convincing customers that in Soponyono Restaurant the food and beverage menus are delicious, delicious and comfortable places.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of social media is to increase the number of occupancy of the Batara White House in Kapala Pitu, toraja utara. This type of research is qualitative. The informants in this study were managers and visitors at Batara White. The results obtained are in increasing the number of occupancy at Batara White House, the management team uses the role of Instagram social media, By using social media from February to May 2023 there has been an increase, namely February with 497 occupancy, March with 693 occupancy, April 867 with occupancy, and in May with 889 occupancy. This happens because there is consistency in uploading Instagram stories and being diligent in reposting posts from other users who come to visit.

Abstract

The promotion strategy is very important to implement. Especially in businesses that prioritize services because consumers must feel the benefits of services in order to carry out purchasing activities. So this study aims to determine the promotion strategy via Instagram in an effort to increase the number of Wolio Barbershop services in Makale District. This research is a qualitative research conducted at one of the SMEs in Makale District which is a barbershop named Wolio. This study used an interview instrument conducted with 7 people with details of 1 Barbershop owner, 1 Admin, and 5 Wolio Barbershop customers. The conclusion of this study states that the promotion strategy via Instagram in an effort to increase the number of Wolio Barbershop services in Makale District is due to its suitability with the Wolio Barbershop segmentation which focuses on young people who are concerned with their appearance. Especially nowadays there are so many new hairstyles that encourage the younger generation to look their best. The most dominant strategy implemented is sales promotion through special discounts such as Ramadhan Kece which provides price discounts for consumers of up to 60%. Apart from that, from Direct Marketing by making posts containing Price Lists. This means that the posts made by Wolio Barbershop contain the prices available for services at Wolio Barbershop. Constraints in efforts to increase the number of Barbershop Wolio services in Makale District include less creative Instagram content, lack of promotional costs, and no special sales team.

Abstract

The research problem is how much influence Viral marketing and electronic word of mouth have on purchasing decisions for users of the tiktok shop application. This study aims to determine the effect of viral marketing and electronic word of mouth on purchasing decisions among users of the Tiktok shop application for students of the Faculty of Economics, UKI Toraja, class of 2022. The type of data in this research is primary data obtained from a questionnaire of respondents, namely students of the UKI Faculty of Economics. Toraja class of 2022 and secondary data obtained from previous research and journals needed in this study. The method in this study is multiple linear analysis. The results of calculations with the T test obtained on the variable viral marketing t count 1.279 < t table 2.002, E-WOM t count 2.149 > t table 2.002 and from the results of the Fcount test 2.492 < 3.16 and the conclusion from the results of this study that viral marketing and electronic word of mouth does not have a significant and simultaneous influence on purchasing decisions on users of the tiktok shop application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in sales of digital marketing strategies in the A+ Toraja Clothing business. The procedure for collecting data from this study is observation, interviews, dokumentation, interviews, dokumentation. The type of research using research methods which include 4 (four) things, namely interaktive and interesting content, mobile marketing ( marketing), digital marketing integration and sustainable marketing. The conclusion of this study is to increase sales to MSME actors implementing digital marketing strategies. Digital strategies to acquire consumers, build preferences, promote brands, increase profits.

Abstract

Indonesia's tourism industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, particularly in the North Sumatra region, which boasts diverse cultures, stunning natural beauty. This study aims to explore the potential of North Sumatra's ports in supporting the tourism industry and increasing the flow of foreign tourists through these entry points. The research focuses on two major ports in the region, Belawan Port and Teluk Nibung Port, both managed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero). These ports are equipped with international-standard passenger terminals and docking facilities for cruise ships and ferries, offering the potential to accommodate a large number of tourists. By analyzing the role and potential of these ports, along with their supporting facilities, this study seeks to provide insights into the factors driving the growth of North Sumatra's tourism industry and the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector in the coming years. The impact of port infrastructure development and the support and initiatives of local governments and related businesses on tourism in the region will also be examined. Furthermore, the importance of implementing sustainable tourism practices to ensure the long-term viability of North Sumatra's tourism industry will be discussed. The findings of this study are expected to foster a shared perception among businesses, port managers, and local governments in promoting North Sumatra's tourism industry to the world.

Abstract

This study is to determine the feasibility of supervision, leadership, and compensation in influencing employee work discipline in Medan Denai Sub-district. This study was conducted with descriptive qualitative with literature study method through literature studies sourced from previous research journals. The results show that effective supervision contributes significantly to improving employee work discipline, with higher levels of compliance. In addition, supportive and participative leadership styles were also found to have a strong positive influence on work discipline, encouraging employee motivation and engagement. Fair and competitive compensation was also shown to play an important role, where employees who were satisfied with the rewards they received tended to show better levels of discipline. Supervision, leadership, and compensation are important factors in improving employee discipline. There is a need for companies to implement better supervision strategies, promote supportive leadership, and ensure competitive compensation to maximize employee discipline and productivity. Recommendations for future research include a deeper exploration of the specific mechanisms linking supervision and leadership to work discipline.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze Liquidity Ratios, Activity, Solvency and Market Ratios to Assess the Financial Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk 2018-2023. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method, the data in this research uses secondary data. Based on the research results, it shows that the Liquidity Ratio and Cash Ratio, the Financial Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk in 2018, 2019 and 2021 is considered good. Activity Ratio to Receivables Turnover Ratio, Financial Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk for 2018-2023 is classified as very good. Solvency Ratio with Long Term Dept to Equity Ratio, Financial Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk in 2018-2019 was classified as very good. Market Ratio with Price Earning Ratio (PER), Financial Performance of PT. Matahari Department Store Tbk in 2018 is classified as very good and Price to Book Value (PBV) in 2018, 2021-2023 is classified as very good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development strategy in the grass jelly drink business as an effort to make the grass jelly ice drink business a strong and competitive business so that the business is able to create added value for the surrounding environment as well as for grass jelly drink entrepreneurs. In the ice jelly drink business development strategy, the techniques used as data collection are primary and secondary data, namely by conducting interviews, distributing questionnaires and processing data. The first stage is to input data to determine the value of IFAS and EFAS, then use the SWOT matrix to find alternative strategies. Based on the research results, the grass jelly drink business business has 5 strengths, 5 weaknesses, 5 opportunities and 4 threats. The strategy for developing the grass jelly drink business is in quadrant I, indicating that the grass jelly drink business faces an environment that has relatively greater opportunities to overcome its weaknesses, namely in the position of the Strength-Opportunity (SO) strategy. This position provides an indication that there is an opportunity for business development to be carried out, and has a strong position to develop.

Abstract

This study discusses the potential of zakat as an alternative source of financing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from a sharia economic perspective. Zakat not only functions as a religious obligation, but also an economic instrument that supports community empowerment, especially MSME actors. In the Indonesian context, the MSME sector plays a strategic role in economic growth, but often faces financing constraints from formal financial institutions. This study examines the extent to which productive zakat can support MSMEs through the distribution of business capital, skills training, and capacity development. Based on library research methods, it was found that although zakat has great potential to strengthen MSMEs, its implementation still faces challenges, such as less transparent management and less than optimal coordination between stakeholders. This study recommends more professional zakat management, increased coordination between zakat institutions and the government, and training for zakat recipients so that its impact is more sustainable. By optimizing the use of zakat, it is hoped that MSMEs can develop inclusively, while supporting national economic growth.
