Abstract

The regulation of criminal conspiracy in corruption crimes in Indonesia, especially under Article 15 of the Corruption Eradication Law, raises various fundamental issues that have the potential to disrupt the principle of justice in law enforcement. This research aims to identify and analyze problems in the regulation of criminal conspiracy and provide recommendations for improvements that are fairer and in accordance with legal principles. The method used is normative research with a legal approach and qualitative descriptive analysis. Data was collected from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources to provide a comprehensive overview of the issues studied. The study found that the definition of criminal conspiracy in the GCPL is unclear, the sanctions are disproportionate, and the merging of the provisions with attempt and aiding and abetting has resulted in difficulties of proof. Recommendations include the need for a clear definition, separation of rules based on the nature of the act, application of the principle of proportionality in sanctions, and rewards for perpetrators who disclose conspiracies. With the proposed reforms, the law on criminal conspiracy should better reflect the principles of justice, provide legal certainty and support efforts to fight corruption effectively and humanely.

Abstract

This study entitled “The effect of Product Development on Operational Performance: A Case Study of Ultimate Motors Plc" examines the relationship between product development initiatives and operational performance at Ultimate Motors. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining a quantitative survey of 98 employees across product development, manufacturing, and operations functions at Ultimate Motors. The data was collected through an online questionnaire distributed via email and Telegrams. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, the results indicate that four key product development elements - assembly line, product design, research & development, and product innovation - collectively account for 78.3% of the variance in Ultimate Motors' manufacturing costs and production efficiency. A standout finding is the outsized influence of assembly line optimization, which alone explains 47.7% of the operational performance outcomes. Product design also emerges as a critical factor, contributing 21.6% of the variance. However, the study reveals that inadequate employee training limits the full utilization of advanced design tools. While research & development and product innovation show positive impacts, their relationships with manufacturing costs and production time are not statistically significant. In contrast, effective assembly line management proves to be a crucial lever, driving improved efficiency, reduced costs, and faster timelines. To enhance its operational competitiveness, the study recommends that Ultimate Motors should: adopt advanced CAD software, invest in design team training, leverage CASE tools for innovation, upskill the R&D function, and embrace automation and flexible production technologies.

Abstract

The application of the National Health Insurance (JKN) membership requirement in the process of issuing a Certificate of Good Conduct (SKCK) has resulted in various problems, especially for those who are not registered as members. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of the JKN membership requirement in the SKCK issuance process and identify the obstacles faced by the community. This study used a normative research method with legal analysis based on applicable regulations. The data used includes primary and secondary legal materials. The results showed that the regulation requiring JKN membership is contrary to the applicable law, namely Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. This requirement creates obstacles in accessing public services that should be inclusive. This study examines the various challenges faced by the community in meeting these requirements and assesses their compliance with the principles of good public service. Policies that require JKN membership as a condition for issuing a Certificate of Good Conduct (SKCK) should be reviewed because they create barriers to accessing public services. Recommendations are made to remove these requirements in order to improve the inclusiveness and efficiency of public services.

Abstract

Digital transformation is revolutionizing urban mobility, particularly in how people use para transit services. These services cater to users who require specialized transportation due to disabilities, medical conditions, or agerelated limitations. Understanding the behavior of para transit users is crucial in optimizing these services to meet their unique needs. Utilizing digital technologies in urban mobility has opened up a world of possibilities for para transit users. From on-demand booking apps to real-time tracking and integrated payment systems, digital transformation has made it easier than ever for users to access and use these services. This has not only improved the convenience and efficiency of para transit but has also enhanced the overall user experience. One of the key aspects of digital transformation in urban mobility is the collection and analysis of data on para transit users' behavior. By tracking users' preferences, habits, and challenges, transportation providers can identify areas for improvement and tailor their services to better meet the needs of their customers. This datadriven approach allows for more personalized and responsive service delivery, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for para transit users. By understanding and addressing the behavior of these users, transportation providers can create more efficient, responsive, and inclusive systems that prioritize the needs and preferences of all individuals. Digital technologies hold immense potential for improving the overall quality and accessibility of para transit services, ultimately enhancing the mobility and independence of users in urban environments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of the principle of Integrated Pest Control (PHT) on the efficiency of rice farming in North Anjatan Village, Indramayu Regency. PHT is an approach to managing Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) by considering technical, economic, ecological, and social aspects. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with data collection through questionnaires to 96 rice farmers. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the variables of Healthy Plant Cultivation (X1), Natural Enemy Utilization (X2), Routine Observation (X3), and Pest Risk Management (X4) on the Efficiency of Rice Farming (Y). The results showed that the Utilization of Natural Enemies and Pest Risk Management had a significant effect on the efficiency of farming, while Healthy Plant Cultivation and Routine Observation did not have a significant influence. Simultaneously, these four variables affect the efficiency of farming with an F value of 22.409 and a significance of 0.000. The determination coefficient (R²) of 49.6% shows that the independent variable explains almost half of the variation in rice farming efficiency. In conclusion, the application of PHT through the use of natural enemies and pest risk management is effective in improving the efficiency of farming. It is recommended that farmers focus more on this aspect, while the government and academics can provide further training to optimize the implementation of PHT.

This study aims to analyze the effect of career, work environment, and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction, especially in freight transport companies in Jakarta. In a competitive environment, understanding these factors is critical to improving employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires. The sample consisted of 132 respondents who worked in freight transportation companies and had a minimum of five years of work experience. Data were analyzed using Smart-PLS 3.0 to test the relationship model between variables. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture has no significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Career has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, but has no direct effect on performance. The work environment is proven to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This finding suggests that although the company has experienced an increase in profits, attention to career development and organizational culture still needs to be improved. A good work environment and high job satisfaction can drive better performance. This study concludes that to improve employee performance in freight transportation companies, it is important to focus on improving the work environment and job satisfaction. Although career has a positive effect on job satisfaction, greater attention needs to be paid to developing a supportive organizational culture.
