Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to investigate anaerobic capacity for pencak silat athletes in combat category based on fatigue index.Methodology: The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. Fifteen athletes from sport education undergraduate program were recruited in this study. Their background was all from combat category. They were part of varsity team enrolled in university training center and preparing for provincial college sport competition. The data for anaerobic capacity were collected using Runningbased Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST) with validity level of 0.897 and reliability level of 0.919.Results: The results suggested that in terms of anaerobic capacity level, there are 4 athletes (26.67%) categorized as good, 8 athletes (53.33%) categorized as average, and 3 athletes (20.00%) categorized as poor. Based on the measurement being administered, majority of samples on this study attributed to average level of anaerobic capacity..Applications/Originality/Value: Given that pencak silat is sport in which dominant with anaerobic movement, coaches should prioritize anaerobic training to improve anaerobic capacity which may lead to success in combat.

Abstract

The research aims to investigate woman resistance against Nazi Regime in The Book Thief novel written by Markus Zusak. In analyzing The Book Thief, this research using the liberal feminist theory and theory of resistance of James Scott which includes public resistance and hidden resistance. The research belong to qualitative research. The research is focused in analyzing the indicator of main character’s resistance towards Nazi. By analyzing main character’s background, social relation and discrimination, the result of the research shows that the indicator of main character resistance are classified into four forms which consist ideology differences, making alliance with Nazi enemy, humiliation which leads the main character to resistance, and feeling empathy towards other race and ethic. Thus, The Book Thief novel are written in order to give the reader awareness towards woman resistance during Nazi Regime.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the specific vocabulary in the Indonglish phenomenon that the Tidar University students use in the educational environment at Tidar University, the meaning that exists in Indonglish at Tidar University, and the impact of Indonglish usage in the use of Indonesian is good and right in the environment education in universities at Tidar University in a signification effort Indonesian. Indonglish is a term often used for English language which is nuanced by Indonesian culture. Indonglish study focuses on environmental education, particularly in higher education that is not only limited to the academic setting but also non-academic one. The researchers used qualitative research. The data of this research were a wide range of speeches acquired in an educational environment, especially in Java, in which there are forms of language linguistically mixed Indonesian and English. Locational data source of this research were the perpetrators of students at Tidar University. The result is the 5th semester students produced 35 Indonglish vocabulary and the 7th semester students produced 31 Indonglish vocabulary. The basic assumption for determining the locational data sources was the consideration that the students, faculties, and staff had a varied background of social, economic and culture so that it was expected to describe the condition of society. The data analysis was conducted by applying the distributional method that was commonly done in linguistics. The method of analysis was done after the data were collected and properly classified. Furthermore, the interpretation of the data was done. Then, the interpreted data were presented informally.

Abstract

Purpose: To find out a) the existence of SPPOI Jakarta as a sports medicine center. Challenges the role of SPPOI in handling national athlete injuries. The role of SPPOI in supporting national sports achievements.Methodology: Research is a qualitative descriptive study with. The subject of this research is the existence of SPPOI Jakarta as a center for sports medicine in its role in supporting national sports achievements.Data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews and recording documentation. Results: The existence of the Jakarta SPPOI as a health center in carrying out the role of education, spreading or instilling or sharing the important principle of paying attention to aspects of injury prevention. SPPOI is a sports clinical clinic with a private status in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, The clinic is under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports which also manages the Indonesian Basketball Academy. With CEO Dr. Andi Kurniawan, SP.KO, Operations Manager Diding Winardi, S.Pd and medical manager Dr. Angelica Anggunadi, Sp.KO. The function of SPPOI is as a health service provider especially in sports medicine. The reality of handling sports injuries at SPPOI and national athletes who have been handled by SPPOI include Anthony SiniSuka Ginting. While Anthony SiniSuka Ginting suffered a knee injury. As a form of SPPOI’s role in supporting national sports achievements SPPOI carries out the role of handling the Asian Games Team as a sports medicine center to handle athlete injuries.Applications/Originality/Value: SPPOI performs its role in supporting the achievements of national athletes in taking preventive, curative, and rehabilitative measures that athletes if in an injury condition the athlete will not be able to compete or can get a high performance program. as a basis for making training programs like athletes do in general.

Abstract

Environmental care is a characteristic that must be owned by everyone. For this reason, schools are required to develop an attitude of caring for the environment through curriculum and learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the integration of environmental education in eco-schools in Daarut Tauhiid Bandung, to find out the implementation of the eco boarding program in eco boarding schools, and to find out the evaluation of the integration of environmental education in eco boarding schools. The method used is descriptive. The research variables are environmental education, eco boarding program, environmental care attitude. The research instrument uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive. The research results show; integrating environmental education in eco boarding schools through three ways namely; first, the integration of environmental education through the national curriculum namely; human resource improvement, training, outreach, manuals, and programs. Integration through boarding school curriculum namely; Clean, Neat, Orderly and Organized Program (BRTT) and Clean, Green and Flowering (Berhiber) Program. Integrating environmental education through learning. Based on this, the researcher recommends that the implementation of environmental education and eco boarding school programs in schools can touch with balanced the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of the professional competence of geography teachers with the ability of spatial thinking students in Pandeglang District High School. This study uses a survey method where this method is a method that aims to collect large amounts of data in the form of variables, units or individuals at the same time. Research using this method is intended to obtain a detailed picture of the Relationship of Professional Competence of Geography Teachers with Spatial Thinking of students in Pandeglang District High School. The subjects in this study were students of class XII IPS in several schools in Pandeglang District High School. The instrument used was a Likert scale to determine the professional competence of geography teachers according to students ‘perceptions and multiple-choice questions for abilities spatial thinking students’. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that: (1) the average percentage of professional competencies of geography teachers according to students’ perceptions was 88.23% with very high criteria; (2) the average percentage of abilities spatial thinking students’ is 81.87% with very high criteria; (3) there is a positive relationship between the professional competence of geography teachers and the ability of spatial thinking students with a significance value of 0,000 and the value Pearson correlation of 0.973 at a very strong degree of relationship.

Abstract

The role of shipping safety in the sea transportation system is absolutely calculated. Shipping safety concerns the transportation of goods and people crossing the ocean in full danger and the threat of storms, fog and movements and seas such as waves, currents, sea corals, siltation and fixed and changing shipping lanes, making sea transportation in shipping at high risk. This study aims to 1) Know the variables that affect the level of safety of the Roak Ro-Roakeuni Ro-Ro Crossing Ship; 2) Analyzing the level of safety of transportation safety from the Sunda Strait. Methods of collecting data directly in the field and collecting secondary data. The results of the study show that the variables that affect ship safety include infrastructure, facilities and culture. The most influential factor on ship safety in the Sunda Strait is a cultural factor. Based on the results of the safety safety analysis, the Sunda Strait has a high level of vulnerability due to the density of ship traffic and the lack of Aids to Navigation in the Sunda Strait.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the relationship between the spatial ability and critical thinking ability of the students of the XI SMA Lab School UPI on geography subjects. The study used the ex-post-facto method to find out causal relationships that were not manipulated or were not given treatment by researchers. The subject in this study was a student of XI IPS 3 class at SMA Lab School UPI Bandung. The instrument used is a matter of double choice of spatial ability and a question of multiple choice of critical thinking ability. Based on the results of data analysis concluded that: (1) The average percentage of the student’s spatial ability amounted to 71.9% with high criteria; (2) The average percentage of the student’s critical thinking ability is 70.17% with high criteria; (3) There is a positive relationship between the spatial ability and the critical thinking ability of learners with a significance value of 0.000 and a Pearson correlation 0.760 value at a strong relationship degree level.

Abstract

Every sector including aquaculture should be prepared to cope with climate change impacts. Climate change impacts to aquaculture can bring any change to instability of socio-economy and the environment due to its role to support food security, employment and economic growth. Management of aquaculture needs to be modified to face this challenge, not only adaptation efforts but also mitigation efforts. Energy consumption is one of significant source of Green House Gasses (GHG) emission. Therefore, it is necessary to know the detail of energy consumption in aquaculture to find the proper strategy in reducing GHG emission from its operational. This study aimed: (1) to identify sort of energy source used in FNCA; (2) to identify the factors that influences the energy consumption of FNCA. This research was conducted in Cirata Reservoir, West Java Province, Indonesia. This research was conducted in Cirata Reservoir, West Java Province. Quatitative method was applied in this research. The research methodology involved: (1) in depht interview, (2) analysis of existing data through institutional reports and (3) observation. This study showed that: (1) farmers of FNCA in Cirata reservoir consume renewable and non-renewable energy for their daily activities; (2) factors that influence the energy consumption in FNCA are location, operational pattern, number of dwellers, types of boat and electricity sources.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai paket kebijakan ekonomi yang masuk dalam upaya peningkatan Ease Of Doing Business oleh pemerintah dalam rangka mengusahakan kemudahan investor berbisnis di Indonesia, yang kemudian kebijakan tersebut akan dikaji berdasarkan perspektif kaidah fiqh adz-dzariah guna merumuskan solusi konkrit dalam mengatasi problematika yang muncul pada pelaksanaan kebijakan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis-normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya program Ease Of Doing Business (EODB) merupakan kebijakan yang disusun sebagai rencana mempermudah pengembangan investasi di wilayah Indonesia, sarana perlindungan hukum dan pencipta kepastian hukum bagi pelaku usaha dan membentuk iklim persaingan usaha yang lebih kompetitif, meskipun adanya kebijakan ini mendatangkan kemanfaatan bagi perekonomian, di sisi lain adanya kebijakan ini justru membuka celah bagi adanya praktik pengeksploitasian terhadap sumber daya (baik alam maupun manusia), pengesampingan aspek lingkungan hidup dan etika bisnis sehingga dapat mengancam eksistensi dari maqashid syariah itu sendiri. Dengan adanya analisis terhadap kebijakan Ease Of Doing Business melalui perspektif kaidah fiqh adz-dzariah ini diharapkan mampu untuk merumuskan sebuah solusi guna meminimalisir dampak negative dari implementasi kebijakan tersebut dan mengkajinya secara rinci berdasarkan sudut pandang islami.
