Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this training is to improve the quality of teachers, especially kindergarten teachers, in carrying out online learning at an early pandemic to be able to implement pleasant methods for childrenMethodology: The training is the practice of gesticulating and song methods in the early learning process of children, given to the 35 preschool teachers who come from four schools in Bantul district. The hypothetical test for the effectiveness of the training online teaching methods through play and songs is known by performing a hypothetical test based on the analysis calculation of independent t-test samplesResults: The t-test analysis has obtained coefficients of Uji-t = 34.524 and data sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 can be concluded that Ho has been rejected and Ha has been accepted, which means that there is a difference in understanding and ability in teachers that follow the series of training methods by given online through play and song. The average value of pretest (re) pretest at 7.4857 and empiric mean (re) posttest at 17.2857. Thus it may be concluded that the teacher's understanding/ability after having taken the online learning training through play and song is higher than before taking the training. Applications/Originality/Value: online learning, Play and songs method, early childhood

Abstract

NSSI is an act of injury carried out intentionally and directly on body tissues without suicidal intent. Students have a vulnerability to doing this. An anonymous self-report survey was completed by 221 college students. Measurement using the Self Compassion Scale (α = 0.910) Well-being was measured using the Riff's Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWB) and NSSI using ISAS (α = 0.910). Participants reported having injured themselves in 50% (n=107). The first onset of NSSI averaged 14.13 years. Participants aged 21-22 reported the highest incidence of self-harm in the past year (56%). The incidence in women is higher (80%). Women said more hair pulling (59%) while men hit themselves. (70%). Low self-compassion and psychological well-being significantly increase the possibility of NSSI in students. For this reason, protection factors need to be developed for students to empower themselves to prevent and avoid delays that harm them.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to empirically examine the role of work-life balance on gratitude among female teachers in high schoolsMethodology: The research subjects were 509 female teachers from all state high schools in Palembang, South Sumatra. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data was collected using gratitude and work-life balance scales. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was regression analysis. Results : The results of the study showed that work-life balance plays a positive role in gratitude. The higher the work-life balance, the higher the gratitude among female teachers. The Sig value < 0.05 or t count > t table, with a t value of work-life balance = 8.061 and Sig 0.000, which means that work-life balance has a positive effect on gratitude with a regression coefficient value of 0.335. This means that the higher the work-life balance, the higher the gratitude of female teachers in high schools. Applications/Originality/Value: The findings of this study are in line with the hypothesis set by the researcher, and it is hoped that schools will jointly develop work-life balance in order to increase the gratitude of female teachers in high schools.
