Abstract

This research is program evaluation research, especially on the product component of the CIPP model evaluation using a qualitative approach. The aim of this research is to identify and evaluate the results of the product implementation of poetry reading learning taught in class X at SMAN 1 Bumiayu. Data collection techniques in this research used observation techniques, interview techniques, questionnaire techniques, and document techniques. The instruments used were observation instruments in the implementation of learning to read poetry, interview instruments, questionnaire instruments, and document instruments. The data analysis technique starts with data collection, the data is reduced, next is data presentation, and finally, conclusions are drawn. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted with the head, head of curriculum, class X Indonesian language subject teacher, and student representatives, one of the results obtained was the product components in the implementation of the class These product components obtain answers to the suitability of learning with the learning outcomes of class X poetry reading at SMAN 1 Bumiayu. Based on the results of the research, recommendations were obtained which can be used as material for consideration in improving the teaching of reading poetry in class for teachers includes the use of social media as part of technology and strengthening students' abilities in reading poetry through training, and (3) recommendations for students is to increase understanding of the meaning of the poetry they read. Abstract

Pemahaman membaca merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting bagi siswa. Namun, hasil survei PISA tahun 2018 bahwa kemampuan membaca siswa Indonesia masih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata OECD. Salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya pembelajaran literasi yang bermakna dan tersituasi. Maka, perlu dikembangkan model yang efektif untuk pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pemahaman. Artikel ini menjelaskan pengembangan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) berbasis teknologi. Tujuannya adalah untuk memahami pentingnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman dan PBL, bagaimana PBL dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman, serta manfaat dan tantangan penerapan PBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa dalam pemecahan masalah melalui proses membaca dan menulis. Namun untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran literasi, pelaksanaannya harus didukung oleh kurikulum dan fasilitas yang sesuai. Maka, penggunaan PBL dinilai dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Kata kunci: literasi, PBL, membaca, teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of the Discovery Learning method in learning Indonesian at the high school level. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various current sources that discuss the effectiveness of this method. The results of the study indicate that the Discovery Learning method is able to increase student engagement, critical thinking skills, and creativity in understanding Indonesian language materials. Students are encouraged to actively find concepts through independent exploration, which results in deeper and more sustainable understanding. However, this study also identifies challenges faced, such as variations in student abilities and teacher readiness in managing the class. Thus, this study provides insight for educators to design more inclusive and effective learning strategies, and contributes to the development of science in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for educators and researchers in implementing more innovative methods in the learning process. Abstract

At every school study now implementing the free curriculum for its learning. The free curriculum has a major learning method: a project-based learning method. This article considers how the application of project based learning methods to improve students' writing ability in Indonesian lessons. The purpose of this study is to know the impact of projectile-based learning methods in improving student writing ability. The writing of this article USES a quantitative method with a library study approach from previous estimates. Project-based learning is a potential learning method for improving student writing ability. With the right support, PJBL not only helps students write, but also prepares them with helpful thinking skills in meeting the challenges of real life. Keywords: Methods, projects, writing

Abstract

This research examines the role of the internet in improving the quality of learning reading and public speaking skills in junior high schools. Amidst advances in information technology, easy access to the internet provides students with the opportunity to explore a variety of resources, including scientific articles, e-books and learning videos. These resources support the implementation of the flipped classroom model, which has proven effective in improving student understanding and engagement. Nonetheless, there are challenges in the suboptimal utilization of technology by students and teachers, such as the lack of digital skills and understanding of appropriate sources. In addition, this research highlights the importance of reading skills as a foundation for public speaking, where reading can enrich students' vocabulary and comprehension. This contributes to increasing students' confidence when speaking in public. The method used in this research is a literature review, with analysis and synthesis of various scientific sources related to the use of the internet in the development of these skills. Hopefully, the results of this study provide insights for educators on the importance of internet integration in the learning process to develop students' communication skills in the growing digital era. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze language errors in the semantic level of folklore “Legenda Kali Sura” by Vika Aranaia in the book Lokakatha from Tanah Jawa. Language in its application is not free from language errors in both spoken and written language. However, language errors tend to occur in written language, especially errors in the interpretation of meaning due to changes from spoken language to written language that occur in literary works, one of which is folklore. Meaning is closely related to the branch of linguistics, namely semantics. Language errors in the field of semantics are symptoms of hypercorrection, symptoms of pleonasm, and improper selection of words or diction. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The data used in the research are words that contain language errors in the semantic level in the folktale “Legenda Kali Sura” by Vika Aranaia. The data source of this research is the folktale “Legenda Kali Sura” by Vika Aranaia, contained in the book Lokakatha dari Tanah Jawa. The data collection technique is reading and note taking technique. Data analysis techniques through three ways, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is done by tringulation techniques of data sources and theories. The results showed that there was 1 data for hyperchoric symptoms, 6 data for pleonasm symptoms, and 5 data for inappropriate word selection or diction. It can be concluded that semantic level language errors still often occur in written language, the factors that cause this to happen are due to ignorance and lack of knowledge related to language rules in the semantic level. Abstract

One of the language errors in essays is semantic errors including symptoms of pleonasm and ambiguity. Essays written by authors may contain errors even though they have been published. The purpose of this study is to describe and discuss pleonasm and ambiguity errors in the essay Siapkah Hadapi Perubahan Kurikulum? by Firda Hayatunnisa. The method applied in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data applied in this study is the essay Siapkah Hadapi Perubahan Kurikulum? by Firda Hayatunnisa. The reading technique is carried out by approaching reading the entire contents of the essay Siapkah Hadapi Perubahan Kurikulum? by Firda Hayatunnisa carefully and repeatedly. Meanwhile, the note-taking technique is applied by noting every language error related to semantics, including symptoms of pleonasm and ambiguity. The results of the analysis of two semantic errors include; (1) symptoms of pleonasm in the form of words: then, again, what happened and this, next, also, want, able, use and utilize, good and correct, capable and qualified, on, which for, qualified, and desired, and (2) ambiguity in the form of phrases: previous curriculum, students were no longer forced to study subjects that were not their main interests, in the words teacher only as a facilitator and provider of direction, and in the phrase all kinds of information. semantic errors in symptoms of pleonasm and ambiguity in the essay Siapkah Hadapi Perubahan Kurikulum? Abstract

Keywords: maximum five words referring to the research/ abstract, template This research aims to analyze existentialist feminism including forms of limiting women as other and forms of women's strategies for rejecting their otherness which are relevant as teaching materials at Bustanul Ulum High School NU Bumiayu. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation techniques, interviews and document collection techniques. The research instrument uses interview instruments and data cards. Data collection techniques using the Miles and Huberman technique include (1) data collection (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technical triangulation. The data source in this research is the novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye which was published by PT Sabak Grip Nusantara in 2023. Based on research conducted on existentialist feminism, it was found that there are two forms of existentialist feminism including the form of limiting women as other and the form of women's strategy. reject his otherness. Forms of strategies for women to reject their otherness include (1) working, (2) being intellectual, (3) working for the purpose of social transformation and (4) rejecting their otherness. The relevance of the novel as teaching material at Bustanul Ulum High School NU Bumiayu is relevant to TP 12.5 regarding criticizing the intrinsic elements and authenticity of the depiction of society in the novel text.

Abstract

Semantic errors in opinion articles can occur due to a lack of precision, mistakes, or the author's ignorance regarding the correct writing conventions, resulting in unclear meanings or ambiguous interpretations. This study aims to analyze semantic errors in opinion articles published in Kompasiana in March 2025. The method employed is qualitative research. The data used in this study consists of words and sentences from opinion articles published in Kompasiana March 2025 edition that contain semantic errors. The source of the research data is opinion articles published by Kompasiana. Data collection techniques involve carefully reading the opinion articles and noting the semantic errors that occur. Data analysis techniques are employed to analyze the data and draw conclusions. The results and discussion encompass semantic errors found in the opinion articles of Kompasiana's March 2025 edition. The analysis revealed 17 instances of linguistic errors at the semantic level due to inappropriate word choice and diction, hypercorrection phenomena, pleonasm, and ambiguity.
