Abstract

The research aims to compare the Javanese lexicon of the Brebes dialect in Sirampog sub-district and analyze variations in the lexicon with standard Javanese in Yogya-Solo. This research method is descriptive analysis using an interactive model. The method used in this research is divided into three stages, namely the data provision stage, the data analysis stage, and the data analysis results presentation stage. As a result of the research, differences in the lexicon variations of the Brebes Javanese dialect in Sirampog sub-district and the standard Javanese language of Yogya-Solo, both phonetic and phonemic, researchers found several aspects, which include; kinship speech, body parts lexicon, number word lexicon, house lexicon and its parts, animal lexicon and its parts, disease lexicon, verb and movement lexicon, time lexicon, nature lexicon, and nature and condition lexicon. The phonological and lexical influence of the Brebes Javanese language in Sirampog sub-district is influenced by Sundanese, Tegal dialect and Banyumas dialect. Abstract

This research aims to describe the toponymic aspects of village names in Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency. The approach used is an anthropolinguistic study, namely the toponymic aspect of village names. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The techniques of data collection used were observation and interview techniques. This research instrument uses triangulation techniques. The results of the research found that in Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency there are three toponymic aspects of village names, namely: 1) the embodiment aspect which is divided into three parts including water background, topographic background and natural environmental background, there are eight villages, namely: Bantarkawung Village, Bantarwaru Village , Cibentang Village, Ciomas Village, Cinanas Village, Legok Village, Tambakserang Village, and Telaga Village; 2) the social aspect, namely the naming of villages taken from the names of previous figures who had positions in society, there are three villages, namely: Jipang Village, Terlaya Village, and Waru Village; 3) cultural aspects related to folklore and community belief systems in seven villages, namely: Bangshadow Village, Banjarsari Village, Karangpari Village, Kebandungan Village, Pangebatan Village, Pengarasan Village, Sindangwangi Village. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the intrinsic elements, Marxist literary criticism, and its relevance as teaching materials at SMA Islam Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu. The approach used is Marxist literary criticism. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that four forms of Marxist literary criticism were found, which include social structures included in the socio-economic aspect, ruling class ideology and cultural hegemony included in the aspects of ideology and cultural hegemony, class consciousness and revolutionary potential and economic and social development included in the aspect of historical materialism. It is indicated by the existence of a power structure, social class, and the struggle of the upper and lower classes experienced by the characters in the novel. The relevance of the analysis of Marxist literary criticism in the BUI novel by Alan TH as teaching materials at SMA Islam Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu is found in the socio-economic aspect, ideology and cultural hegemony, as well as class consciousness and revolutionary change relevant to Core Competency 11.4 with the achievement of the indicator of writing criticism on the novel. Abstract

This study aims to develop a comic strip web application media that can improve students' understanding of anecdotal text with ecocritical content. The development was conducted using the 3D model (Define, Design, Develop) which includes needs analysis, design, and product development. The feasibility test involved media, language, and material experts, while the practicality test was conducted by teachers and students. The validation results show that this media is feasible to use with a percentage of 82.5% from media experts, 93% from language experts, and 94% from material experts. The practicality test resulted in 98% from teachers and 83% from students, indicating that this application is practical to use in learning. As the results, this comic strip media not only facilitates students' understanding of anecdote texts, but also instills environmental awareness through ecocritical content delivered interactively. Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the structure of comics found in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. This type of research is qualitative. The research method used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used are reading, noting, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show the comic strip structure found in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The character structure found is 26 characters in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The plot structure found is 9 linear plots and 1 mixed plot in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The theme and moral structure found is 8 themes and 11 morals in the comic strips on the Instagram accounts Komik Grontol and Kostum Komik. The structure of the comic strip in terms of images and language found is that the characters in the comics are depicted as humans, while the language aspect consists of narratives, words in thought balloons and speech balloons, as well as sound effects. Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of innovative and creative learning media that causes the students are less interested in learning. The aim of research is to make students to learn easier than before, producing new learning media and also increasing students' creativity in creating pantun. In this study, researchers developed flipbook teaching materials on experiential learning-based pantun material. The development of this teaching material contains students' personal experiences with what has happened to facilitate vocabulary when creating pantun. This research aims to produce a product, namely digital teaching materials to facilitate learning and encourage students to be more creative. The model used in this research is the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development of Production, Implementation and Evaluation. In this study, data obtained in the form of observations, interviews, media and material assessments with validation experts, and distributing questionnaires to students. In the results of the assessment stated a category that was very feasible to use in learning. Media experts get a feasibility percentage of 93.7%. The material expert received a feasibility percentage of 93.7%. For the feasibility of learner responses in the small trial class 85.5% got a feasibility percentage, while for the large class trial got a feasibility percentage of 89.7%. This flipbook teaching material can be used by educators and grade VII students in Indonesian language learning subjects. Keywords: pantun, flipbook, Experiential Learning.

Abstract

This research aims to produce teaching materials in the form of flipbook-based e-modules with a contextual teaching and learning approach to procedural text material. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods with Hamzah's 4-stage ADDIE development model. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documents. Based on the results of validation tests by material experts, they obtained a score of 80 with a percentage of 88.8% included in the valid category. The assessment from media experts received a score of 80 with a percentage of 88.8%, which is in the valid category, and the assessment from language experts received a score of 55 with a percentage of 91.6%, which is included in the very valid category. Based on the results of the validation test, it shows that the e-module is valid and suitable for use. Keywords: e-module, flipbook, pembelajaran

Abstract

This study describes the use of bilingualism that occurs in social interactions in children. Specifically, what happened to Vanilla Lovely, the younger sister of Vallene Laurencia, a TikTok celebrity. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of bilingualism and the factors causing bilingualism in Vanilla Lovely's social interactions in videos uploaded via the TikTok account @Vanillaaa_ly. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with qualitative analysis. The data collection technique used is the listening and recording technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study are, 1) data collection; 2) data identification; 3) data simplification; and 4) data analysis accompanied by verification. The findings of this study present 5 data obtained from the form of bilingualism in Vanilla Lovely's social interactions, namely: 1) utterance one, "Iya, I want to cake"; 2) utterance two, "Pink" and "Cool, cute"; 3) utterance three, "No, I just dislike chocolate"; 4) utterance four, "Four"; and 5) utterance five, "Tapi aku gak tahu, I can't speak Indonesian that smart". In addition, the factors causing bilingualism are caused by educational factors and family factors. Keywords: Bilingualism, Social Interaction, and Vanilla Lovely.
