Abstract

Di masa pandemi COVID-19, Gereja yang tidak memungkinkan melaksanakan Perayaan Ekaristi secara langsung di gedung-gedung gereja dapat melaksanakan Perayaan Ekaristi secara Live Streaming atau Misa Online. Hal ini dilakukan dengan alasan kesehatan dan keselamatan banyak orang. Solusi pastoral ini menimbulkan pertanyaan besar untuk kebanyakan umat tentang “Apakah Misa Online sungguh-sungguh Perayaan Ekaristi yang sah atau tidak?” Pertanyaan tersebut dapat dijawab dengan pemahaman mendasar tentang Misteri Ekaristi dan perkembangan sejarahnya sampai sekarang ini. Setelah itu, penting untuk memahami makna Ekaristi di masa pandemi COVID-19, sehingga pertanyaan sah atau tidaknya Misa Online dapat dipahami sungguh-sungguh secara kontekstual.

Abstract

Perang telah selesai, kemerdekaan telah digenggam oleh bangsa Indonesia, sekarang tugas kita adalah menata negara melalui jalan politik. Orang Katolik yang terjun dalam dunia politik praktis, harus memiliki mental politik yang bertujuan untuk kesejahteraan bersama. Sebab dengan begitu ia tidak berperan sebagai benalu masyarakat melainkan sebagai sumber kebahagiaan semua orang. 100% Katolik 100% Indonesia menuntut dari semua orang Katolik Indonesia untuk turut mengembangkan kehidupan bangsa Indonesia yang sejahtera atau bonum commune lewat jalan politik seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Mgr. Soegijapranata.

Abstract

Pada artikel ini, saya lebih memperhatikan atau fokus pada konsep Fuah Pah yang dianut oleh komunitas Dawan sebagai makhluk tertinggi dan sesuai dengan pemikiran Mircea Eliade. Masyarakat Dawan meyakini bahwa di Fuah Pah terdapat tiga kepribadian yaitu Uis Neno, Uis Pah dan Uis Nitu. Metodologi yang digunakan atau digunakan adalah metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Dalam metode perpustakaan, saya mencoba mencari referensi yang berkaitan dengan Fuah Pah pemikiran dan Mircea Eliade tentang “Yang Kudus” sedangkan metode wawancara yang dilakukan melalui telepon dengan subjek penelitian yakni dengan menggali dan memahami lebih dalam tentang konsep Fuah Pah yang mana memiliki tiga kepribadian. Dari hasil kolaborasi ini, saya menemukan bahwa ada keterkaitan antara apa yang dikemukakan oleh Mircea Eliade dengan apa yang diyakini oleh masyarakat Dawan sebagai bentuk tak kasat mata tertinggi, terwujud dalam simbol, diekspresikan dalam bahasa dan dicitrakan dalam ritual.Kata Kunci: Fuah Pah, Hierofani, Simbol, Bahasa, Ritual In this article, I pay more attention or focus to the concept of Fuah Pah which is belived by the Dawan community as the highest being and is compatible with the thoughts of Mircea Eliade. The Dawan community believes and believes that in Fuah Pah there are three personalities namely Uis Neno, Uis Pah and Uis Nitu. The Methodology used or used is literature study and interview methods. In the library method I try to look for reference relating to Fuah Pah and Mircea Eliade’s thoughts about “The Holy One” while the interview method conducted by telephone with the research subjects is to dig up and understand more deeply about the concept of Fuah Pah which has three personalities. From the result of this colaboration, I found that there was a connection between what was stated by Mircea Eliade and what was believed by the Dawan community as the highest invisible form, manifested in symbols, expressed in language and imaged in rituals.Keywords: Fuah Pah, Hierofani, Symbols, Language, Rituals

Abstract

Even though, the problem of the relationship between faith and reason has been a very classical topic in the history of philosophical and theological discussions, the urgency to keep on discussing the interrelationship between these two matters remains. The idea is that, at the core of the debates made of the connection of the two capacities, it is always concerned with the fundamemtal elements of human existence itself, which is, the problem of the sources of knowledge and understanding, truth, experience, understanding, knowledge and the fullness of human existence itself. This articles disucesses these points the document of Fides et Ratio implies. The idea is that, behind of John Paul II’s points of the relationship of these two, there are some philosophical elements which one can find and discuss. As previously mentioned, those ideas are the problem of truth and certainty, the status of reason and experience as the sources of knowledge, the problem of knowing and understanding, the problem of meaning and values and finally the problem of the fullness of human existence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut; mengetahui pengaruh insentif pada kualitas kerja tenga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon, mengetahui pengaruh disiplin pada kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon, mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja pada kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon, mengetahui pengaruh dari ketiga faktor secara simultan (insentif, motivasi dan disiplin kerja) terhdap kualitas kerja di SMP Katolik Ambon. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisa regresi linier sederhana dan analisa linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka ditarik beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut : Insentif tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi yang diperoleh yakni (β) 0,051 (**p0.05; p=0,662). Kontribusi pengaruh insentif terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon adalah positif tapi tidak signifikan dengan nilai (∆R2) 0,005. Displin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi yang diperoleh adalah (β) 0,426 (**p0.05; p=0,001). Kontribusi pengaruh disiplin terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon sebesar (∆R2) 0,241. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi yang diperoleh yakni (β) 0,294 (**0.05; p=0,019). Kontribusi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon sebesar (∆R2) 0,137. Insentif, Disiplin dan Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi yang diperoleh yakni (β) 0,519 (**0.05; p=0,010). Kontribusi pengaruh insentif, disiplin dan motivasi terhadap kualitas kerja tenaga pendidik di SMP Katolik Ambon sebesar (∆R2) 0,269.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep transendensi menurut Karol Wojtyła. Transendensi ini lebih dikaitkan dengan tindakan dari kehendak melalui self-determination dengan menampilkan struktur self-governance dan self-possession. Transendensi menunjukkan bahwa manusia bukanlah sebatas suatu spesies di antara spesies yang lain atau suatu objek di antara objek yang lain. Akan tetapi, manusia adalah person dengan kodrat rasional; ia unik dan tak tergantikan. Ia juga tampil sebagai subjek sekaligus objek dari tindakannya. Ia menjadi subjek dari tindakan sekaligus objek yang dibentuk oleh tindakannya sendiri. Transendensi person terwujud juga dalam integrasi dengan aspek psikosomatik dan lebih tampak riil dalam partisipasi atau co-acting.  This article discusses the concept of transcendence according to Karol Wojtyła. This transcendence is more associated with the act of will through self-determination by presenting the structure of self-governance and self-possession. Transcendence shows that humans are not limited to a species among other species or an object among other objects. However, humans are persons with a rational nature; it is unique and irreplaceable. He also appears as both the subject and the object of his actions. He becomes the subject of both the action and the object formed by his own action. Person transcendence is also manifested in integration with psychosomatic aspects and is more visible in participation or co-acting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to achieve an understanding of the marital problems of Catholics that occurred in the Tanimbar in the Diocese of Amboina. In this research, we used social methods, namely qualitative research method. The reason behind this research is this method can help to describe the life of people from within, from the point of understanding of the person being studied. Thus, the result of this study present a better understanding of issues surrounding marriage and how religious view affect people, who are practicing their marital life.

Abstract

The church is the fruit of Christ's mission. The success of preaching theGospel begins with debriefing and then ends with mission, but continuedformation must be continued. Missionary work that is 'ad intra' (coaching)and 'ad extra' (planting) and is a picture of a Christian Community.Banjarmasin diocese with the MDD “Meratus Dayak Development” programevaluates three stations in the interior of South Kalimantan that are stillinfantile because they tend to be 'pastor-centric' and depend on volunteers.The existence and essence of Ad Gentes article 15, which describes theformation of the Christian congregation, is a weapon for the reconstruction ofthe Meratus Dayak Christian Community (MDCC). The STAR movementprogram or The Stasi Revitalization Movement is expected to furtherstrengthen the faith of Dayak Meratus Catholics to become more independentand resilient in carrying out the five tasks of the Church based on the 'spirit'of the CBE (Community Based Ecclesiastical) and Contextual Catechesis.

Abstract

Celso Costantini had a Catholic Mission in China from 1922 to 1933. At the beginning he felt something wrong with the method of the Mission in China. Catholic Church had existed in China for centuries, but Celso found no local bishop nor clerics who led a Mission region. All Mission regions were led by foreign missionaries. Besides, Celso also saw antipathy against Catholic church. Catholic Church was considered as a foreign religion which wanted to conquer China. This could not be separated from political domination on Catholic Mission. Protectorate system had mixed Catholic Mission with the political interests of European countries. Catholic Mission was controlled by governments, not by the Church itself. A lot of strategic decisions of the Mission were made by the government. The local church just followed the government’s instructions. The Holy See was not involved in the process of making decisions concerning the Mission in China. As a result, Catholic Mission was almost identical to colonial politics of European countries. Celso Costantini carried out the guidance of Maximum Ilud  in his Mission in China. He realized that was in the tension between the Church’s Mission and the political interest of European countries. He understood that he was not a representative of a country, but of the Church as a religious institution. Therefore, Celso distanced himself from political interest whenever possible. He was close to the government, but he refused to be intervened. Celso tried to make Catholic Church mingle with local society so that the Church could be established and bring God’s kingdom among Chinese community. One of Celso’s efforts was the organization of Shanghai Synod in 1924. The Synod produced strategic decisions about the establishment of seminaries, the education of local local seminarians, and cultural promotion as a means of spreading faith. The Synod also had an important role in the ordination of the first six Chinese bishops in 1926 by Pope Pius XI. Celso’s Mission for eleven years in China opened a new hope of the birth of Chinese Catholic Church.

Abstract

The Catholic Church considers that marriage is a covenant between men and women that from between the whole life togetherness. This is why, in the Catholic view, the marriage is one and cannot be divorced. Therefore, the Catholic Church always doing preparation for those who will be solemnized their marriage. This article is an effort to explain catechesis of marriage preparation in St. Joseph’ Parish in the Diocese of Amboina. Using qualitative methods, it is suspected to find accurate data on the implementation of catechetical marriage preparation in St. Joseph’ Paris.
