Abstract

Human resources (HR) are an important component in the success of a company (Dessler, G., 2019).Therefore, managing and maintaining human resources is the most important key for companies to achieve their goals with various challenges in managing human resources and increasingly dynamic business dynamics (Wynne et al., 2021).New challenges after the Covid-19 pandemic and the Millennial Generation and Generation Z who are entering productive age are expected to contribute positively to the nation's progress due to the composition and dominance of the largest population. However, the reality is contrary to these estimates. where the number of millennials and some generation z who enter productive age is increasing and has dominated many jobs and is followed by an increase in turnover rates. High turnover rates exceeding the global average of 13% make organisations required to continue to improve. This study investigate the role of flexible work arrangements, Job Embeddedness and Work Life Balance in suppressing turnover intention in the millennial generation and generation Z in a finance company at the Jakarta headquarters. This research is quantitative research with Non probability. The questionnaire was distributed to employees at the headquarter multifinance company in Jakarta with 280 respondents. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tools. The results in this research indicate that Flexible work arrangement (FWA) has a significant negative impact on turnover intention. Flexible work arrangement has a significant positive impact on job embeddedness and work-life balance.Flexible Work Arragement (FWA) has a significant negative impact on Turnover intention which is partially intervening by job embeddedness and work-life balance.

Abstract

Intense competition and unpredictable conditions have made problem-solving more challenging. Unlike the relatively stable markets of the 20th century, today's world is characterized by VUCA: volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. SMEs, which make up the majority of businesses globally, are particularly affected by these changes. Entrepreneurs, as the driving force behind SMEs, play a crucial role in both developing and developed economies. Their contributions significantly impact economic growth, as recognized by governments. Research indicates that personality traits can accurately predict business behavior and success, emphasizing that entrepreneurship is a dynamic process requiring continuous effort to deliver products or services that bring financial and personal rewards. The archetype approach, which explores personal dynamics and environmental interactions, provides insights into entrepreneurial success. Archetypes represent patterns of perception, memory, and action that align with ancient motivational and emotional systems, helping to explain how the mind navigates social complexities. The Hero's Journey as an archetype framework offers a valuable perspective on personal development in a career context, addressing universal human motivations across cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to design a pork supply chain risk management model. This model is composed of four main models, namely; (1) risk identification model, (2) risk assessment model, (3) risk mitigation model and (4) pork price calculation model at the farm level by incorporating risk factors. Model 1, risk identification is divided into two sub-models, namely the supply chain risk mapping model in each supply chain network and the risk mapping model in pork delivery activities. Model 2, the risk assessment model, is divided into three sub-models, namely the risk measurement model, the risk relationship chain model and the risk performance model.  Furthermore, model 3, namely risk mitigation is determined based on risk evaluation and risk consequences of the risk relationship chain that has the highest risk magnitude. While model 4, designs a risk assessment system and calculates the price of pork at the risk-based farm level.

However, there is still a lack of research in this district. Therefore, this study aims to determine potential prospects for population and the availability of residential infrastructure in Nduga Regency to support development in 2045. The method used is population projection analysis and the projection of facilities and infrastructure of education, health, economy, and road. The expected output is the availability of residential facilities and infrastructure in Nduga Regency. In 2045, the population in Nduga Regency has the potential to increase to 172,876 people and with such a population. Abstract

The Electrical Vehicles (EV) industry is evolving in several ways. The technology behind EVs is improving, and so are the supporting facilities. At the same time, consumers have become more aware of electric vehicles as a viable option for their next vehicle purchase. In addition to these trends, fuel prices are ever-increasing while prices of EVs continue to fall. This means that more people can afford to drive an EV. The objective of this study is to know the marketing strategies of how electric vehicles can be used worldwide. This study applied descriptive quantitative method through survey which involved 100 Malaysian, Indonesian and Indian respondents. From the study, it can be found that satisfaction with electric vehicle’s efficiency, satisfaction with environmental friendliness, and public perception towards electric vehicle usage were variables that influence consumers’ behavior towards electric vehicles. Furthermore, satisfaction with being environmentally friendly has a strongest impact on consumer behavior above two other variables. It comes to conclusion that promoting electric vehicles as friendly environmental transportation to consumers can be the focus of marketing strategy in EV market.

Abstract

This study aims to present a conceptual model and provide empirical evidence regarding entrepreneurial archetype and competence in influencing entrepreneurial success, particularly in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Previous research has found that individual factors such as personality and competence play a significant role in business success. However, the literature on entrepreneurial personality lacks discussion on the role of archetypes in business success. The archetype approach attempts to explain the basic patterns of personal dynamics in self-resource management and environmental interaction. This study uses the Hero's Journey archetype to explain the entrepreneurial journey, comprising 12 archetypes divided into three phases: initiation, journey, and return. The entrepreneurial competence approach by Spencer & Spencer, explaining 13 capabilities, and the business success concept by Kaplan & Norton, addressing financial, internal business processes, and employee satisfaction, are used. The study involves 500 entrepreneurs in Java using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results show that each phase of the archetype journey significantly affects entrepreneurial competence and success. This study offers a new understanding of entrepreneurial personality using the archetype approach, highlighting its importance in enhancing business success.
