Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Kopi Janji Jiwa Jilid 738 in Gunungsitoli City. This study employs a quantitative approach. The study population consists of customers of Kopi Janji Jiwa Jilid 738 in Gunungsitoli City during the period from October 2024 to November 2024, estimated to number 150 people. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient tests, F-tests, and t-tests with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results showed that all statement items were valid and reliable. An R value of 0.918 indicates a very strong relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction, collectively influencing customer loyalty. An R-squared value of 0.843 indicates that 84.3% of the variation in customer loyalty can be explained by service quality and customer satisfaction, while the remaining 15.7% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. The results of the F-test show that service quality and customer satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on customer loyalty. Partially, service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a calculated t-value of 4.852 and a significance level of 0.000. Meanwhile, customer satisfaction does not have a significant partial effect on customer loyalty, with a t-value of 0.535 and a significance level of 0.597. Thus, service quality is the most dominant variable influencing customer loyalty at Kopi Janji Jiwa Jilid 738 in Gunungsitoli.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of resistance exhibited by teachers and staff toward work hour discipline policies, identify the factors causing such resistance, and describe the school’s efforts to address teachers’ and staff’s resistance to work hour discipline policies at Bunga Mawar Private Junior High School in Gunungsitoli City. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the principal, teachers, the vice principal, subject teachers, and administrative staff, all selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and the drawing of conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that teachers’ and staff members’ resistance to the work hours policy is mostly passive and indirect. Forms of resistance include arriving late, irregularities in filling out attendance records, the habit of arriving only according to their teaching schedules, leaving during work hours for personal matters without clear notification, and complaints regarding the flexibility of work hours. Factors contributing to this resistance include long-standing work habits, differing interpretations of work hours, distance from home, transportation challenges, family obligations, teaching workload, additional duties, insufficiently detailed policy communication, inconsistent supervision, and perceptions of fairness in the enforcement of rules. The school’s efforts to address this resistance include policy outreach, dialogue, involving teachers and staff in evaluations, individual coaching, rewards, graduated sanctions, and review of attendance records. Overall, work-hour discipline policies can be implemented more effectively if they are applied clearly, fairly, communicatively, participatively, and humanely.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer marketing and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions for Ayam Goreng Gadah, with purchase intention as a mediating variable. The background of this study is based on the rapid development of digital marketing through social media, especially Instagram, which is now one of the main marketing platforms for local culinary businesses. The study uses a causal associative quantitative approach with data collection through a Likert-scale questionnaire to followers of the Instagram account @ayamgorenggadah who have purchased the product. Sampling was determined using a purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of the SmartPLS application. The test results show that all research indicators meet convergent and discriminant validity. The R² value for purchasing decisions is 0.514 (moderate category) and the R² value for purchasing intentions is 0.282 (weak category). Hypothesis testing proves that influencer marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β=0.424; p=0.000) and purchase decision (β=0.257; p=0.001). Brand image also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β=0.265; p=0.000) and purchase decision (β=0.220; p=0.002). In addition, purchase intention is proven to mediate the influence of influencer marketing (β=0.194; p=0.001) and brand image (β=0.121; p=0.003) on purchase decision. In conclusion, optimizing influencer marketing strategy and strengthening brand image effectively increases consumer purchase intention, which ultimately drives purchase decisions in local culinary businesses based on social media.

Abstract

This article examines the effect of live streaming shopping on consumers' impulse buying on TikTok Shop through a structured literature review. The review maps empirical studies on live-stream commerce, social presence, perceived value, enjoyment, trust, customer engagement, and impulse buying. Sources were selected based on construct relevance, online-shopping context, and the clarity of their methods and findings. The synthesis indicates that live streaming shopping acts as a compound stimulus that combines product demonstration, real-time seller responses, viewer interaction, and time-limited offers. These stimuli shape cognitive and affective responses, particularly social presence, perceived value, enjoyment, trust, and engagement. Such internal responses can strengthen the urge to buy and shorten consumers' evaluation process before checkout. The relationship is not automatic. Self-control, product need, shopping experience, perceived risk, and information transparency can strengthen or weaken impulse buying. The article proposes a stimulus-organism-response framework and a quantitative research agenda for examining mediation and moderation mechanisms among TikTok Shop users in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Bahowo mangrove ecotourism area in Manado City has declined in economic and ecological value after its functional shift to a transit dock. This condition contradicts the principles of a sustainable tourism destination, which demands a balance among ecological, economic, and socio-institutional aspects. This study intends to evaluate existing conditions and formulate an ecotourism management strategy, grounded in economic valuation, integrity tourism, and the heptahelix model, to revitalize Bahowo as a sustainable tourism destination. The research approach combines physical carrying capacity analysis with the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to measure visitors' Willingness to Pay (WTP). The results show that the resource suitability level is classified as "unsuitable," with an index of 1.84, due to the complete destruction of tourist trail infrastructure (0%) and stagnation in institutional governance. However, the economic valuation analysis discloses a high potential for latent demand; the average visitor's willingness to pay for ecotourism packages is USD 4.75 per person. This financial finding delivers an economically rational justification for capital investment in infrastructure recovery, demonstrating viability and supporting the economic pillar of sustainability. The recommended revitalization strategy focuses on capitalizing on the WTP value through Integrity Tourism principles, implemented through the interaction of the Heptahelix Collaboration Model, which serves as the primary prerequisite for realizing a sustainable tourism destination.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of waste management, identify opportunities and challenges in implementing a circular economy, and formulate a strategy for implementing a circular economy in waste management in Mataram City. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the government, business actors, communities, waste bank managers, and the public. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and SWOT analysis. The results show that waste management in Mataram City is still in the transition stage towards a circular economy and is dominated by a linear pattern (collect-transport-dispose). The implementation of a circular economy has opportunities through the availability of waste as raw material, waste processing innovation, policy support, and increased community participation. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low waste sorting at source, limited facilities and infrastructure, and an unintegrated waste management system. Based on the SWOT analysis, the recommended priority strategy is the Weakness-Opportunities (WO) strategy through increasing education and community participation, strengthening collaboration between actors, and developing facilities and infrastructure for circular economy- based waste management. This study found that the implementation of the circular economy in Mataram City is still in a partial transition state, namely when various elements of the circular economy have developed, but have not yet formed a complete and sustainable waste management system.

Abstract

The energy sector in Indonesia was one of the strategic sectors that contributed significantly to the national economy; however, the financial performance of companies in this sector tended to fluctuate due to external pressures such as changes in global commodity prices, declining export demand, and increasing operational costs. These conditions caused instability in corporate earnings and profitability, which created uncertainty for investors and other stakeholders. Financial performance served as an important indicator in assessing a company’s ability to manage its resources and sustain business continuity. Therefore, it was necessary to analyze internal corporate factors that were presumed to influence financial performance in a more controlled and sustainable manner. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance, Institutional Ownership, and Capital Structure on Corporate Financial Performance in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Good Corporate Governance was measured using the Corporate Governance Index, Institutional Ownership was measured by the proportion of shares owned by institutions to total outstanding shares, and Capital Structure was measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Corporate Financial Performance was proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). This study examined both the simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 91 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method based on predetermined criteria. The data were analyzed using panel data regression, with model selection conducted through the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. Hypothesis testing was performed using the F-test, t-test, and the Coefficient of Determination (R²). The findings were expected to provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of corporate governance, ownership structure, and capital structure on the financial performance of energy sector companies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how accreditation administrative demands serve as a primary factor influencing the health of accreditation team employees, with work stress as an intermediary factor. This study involved all 29 members of the accreditation team, consisting of lecturers and educational staff, who were selected through a saturated sampling technique. A quantitative correlational approach was used as the survey method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, and the SPSS program was used to analyze multiple linear regression. The results of the correlation analysis showed that accreditation administrative demands had a significant and strong positive relationship with work stress (r = 0.626; p = 0.000). However, with an R Square value of only 13.2%, a simultaneous F test indicated that accreditation administrative demands and work stress did not have a significant effect simultaneously on employee health. The results indicate that accreditation team members have strong psychological resources, commitment, and organizational social support to maintain their health amidst heavy administrative workloads.

Abstract

Leadership research increasingly recognizes meaning, values, and connectedness as critical sources of positive employee behavior. This article develops a conceptual framework explaining the relationships among spiritual leadership, meaningful work, work engagement, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Drawing on organizational behavior literature, spiritual leadership is positioned as a leadership approach that cultivates shared vision, hope/faith, altruistic love, calling, and membership. Meaningful work is proposed as the psychological mechanism translating spiritual leadership into work engagement, whereas engagement is conceptualized as the cognitive, emotional, and physical energy that enables extra-role behavior. The framework offers seven propositions for future empirical testing, including a serial mediation path from spiritual leadership to meaningful work, engagement, and OCB. The article contributes by integrating spiritual leadership theory, meaningful work, psychological conditions of engagement, job demands-resources theory, and social exchange theory into a parsimonious organizational behavior model. It also provides practical implications for leadership development, meaningful job design, and organizational cultures that foster citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital transformation has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital technologies to improve financial management and strengthen tax compliance. However, previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the extent to which Integrated Digital Accounting Systems and Electronic Tax Reporting contribute to MSME performance, particularly through the mechanism of tax compliance. This study aims to examine the effects of Integrated Digital Accounting Systems and Electronic Tax Reporting on MSME Performance, with Tax Compliance serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed using primary data collected from 120 MSME owners in Palembang City, Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that both Integrated Digital Accounting Systems and Electronic Tax Reporting have positive and significant effects on Tax Compliance. Tax Compliance also has a positive and significant effect on MSME Performance. Furthermore, Integrated Digital Accounting Systems directly enhance MSME Performance, whereas Electronic Tax Reporting does not have a significant direct effect. Mediation analysis reveals that Tax Compliance significantly mediates the relationship between Electronic Tax Reporting and MSME Performance but does not mediate the relationship between Integrated Digital Accounting Systems and MSME Performance. These findings suggest that digital accounting systems create strategic value by directly improving financial management and business performance, whereas the effectiveness of electronic tax reporting depends on its ability to strengthen tax compliance. This study contributes to the literature on digital transformation, accounting information systems, and taxation by providing empirical evidence on the strategic role of tax compliance in enhancing MSME performance. The findings also offer practical implications for policymakers, tax authorities, technology providers, and MSME owners in promoting digital transformation to improve business.
