Abstract

The National Quality Indicator (INM) is one of the benchmarks in efforts to improve the quality of health services. Community health centers must provide quality health services according to standards. To find out the implementation of the achievements of the community health centers in West Java Province in measuring, reporting, and achieving the national indicators of quality in the community health centers as an effort to maintain and improve service quality. The method used is a descriptive method with secondary data analysis from the national indicators of the quality report on the Mutufasyankes.kemenkes.go.id application, the data is presented in the form of a frequency distribution. The National Quality Indicator Report for 2022 is higher than in 2021, there are 1057 (97%) Community Health Centers that have reported INM, the district/city with the lowest achievement, namely Kab. Ciamis 60%, Banjar City 69%, and Bekasi City 70%, 3 indicators have not reached the target in all districts/cities, namely compliance with the use of PPE, compliance with patient identification, and successful treatment of TB patients for all drug-sensitive cases (SO). There are still districts/cities in West Java province that are not yet compliant with reporting INM, and there are still INM achievements that have not reached the target, it is necessary to optimize the monitoring and evaluation of INM reporting activities by the district/city Health Office.

Abstract

There was a decrease in the maternal mortality rate (MMR) at 390 to 305 out of 100,000 live births but still failed to reach the MDGs target to become SDGs, namely 70 deaths per 100,000 per live birth in 2023. Indonesian data for 2018 based on birth attendants by health workers was 93.1% and non-Nakes 6.7%, there were still 16% who gave birth at home, while in 2022 there were still 3 .65% assisted deliveries by non-health workers.  The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the selection of birth attendants in the Talang Mamak community of Indragiri Hulu regency. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 45 respondents with the criteria for respondents, namely pregnant women and mothers who have infants. Data analysis using Chi Square and Logistic Regression.  The results showed that of the 45 respondents, 60% of deliveries were assisted by health workers and 40% were assisted by traditional birth attendants.  There was a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.000), attitude (p-value = 0.014), beliefs/practices (p-value = 0.005), cost of labor (p-value = 0.028), distance (p-value = 0.028), family support (p-value = 0.011). The factor that plays the most role in the selection of birth attendants is knowledge with a significant value of 0.025, maternal attitude 0.031 and trust / custom 0.043 and family support 0.054. It is recommended to increase the knowledge of the mother by continuing health promotion with cultural and social approaches, as well as instilling a positive attitude towards health workers as birth attendants, so that childbirth is free of complications.

Abstract

Background: The National Quality Indicator Measurement (INM) of hospitals is mandatory to be conducted as a basis for planning, monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making for the improvement of healthcare services in hospitals, following Minister of Health Regulation Number 30 of 2022. Objective: This study aims to determine the overview of the achievement of hospitals in Indonesia in reporting and meeting the National Quality Indicators (INM). Method: The method used in this study is descriptive with secondary data analysis. Quality indicator data was obtained from the achievement data of national quality indicators reported in the mutu fasyankes.kemenkes.go.id/simar/ application. Results: All provinces have implemented the reporting of INM measurements, and the number of hospitals reporting INM in the first quarter of 2023 has increased compared to the reporting of hospital INM in the fourth quarter of 2022. There are still 18 provinces with INM reporting compliance below 50%. There is no difference in reporting compliance between government/TNI/POLRI-owned hospitals, state-owned enterprises, and private hospitals. The average achievement of INM targets in 2023 has improved compared to 2022. Compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an indicator of low achievement. Conclusion and Suggestions: Compliance in reporting INM by hospitals has increased after the implementation of the obligation to measure and report INM according to Minister of Health Regulation Number 30 of 2022. However, the achievement of the compliance indicator for the use of PPE is still low. It is necessary to strengthen healthcare workers' adherence to the use of PPE.

Abstract

Ergonomics is very important to note so that work-related illnesses and accidents do not occur. Disturbances arising from ergonomics are Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), namely disorders of body structures such as muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves, cartilage, bones, local blood circulation system. Ergonomics risks were identified using REBA and MSDs complaints using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. Age, education, exercise habits, smoking habits, BMI, body posture and length of work are factors that can influence MSDs complaints. The aim of this research is to know the factors that influence MSDs complaints. Cross sectional study design with a sample of 231 using logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the ergonomic risk level was low 17,3%, medium 16,9% and high 65,8%. The prevalence of MSDs complaints is 65,8% felt by operators. Respondents aged > 35 years (42,9%), SMA/SMK and below (91,8%), do not have exercise habits 95,2%, smoke every day (59,3%), BMI is overweight (72,7%), risky posture (83,1%) and normal working hours (72,7%). There is a relationship between ergonomic risk, body posture and MSDs complaints. In conclusion, the dominant factor influencing MSDs complaints is body posture with OR 0,127. The research suggestion is to make improvements through the OHS control hierarchy such as equipping lifting equipment, re-designing conveyors for transporting tires, modifying racks to be non-level, socializing working safely and working with poster zones, making work procedures safe.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the serious public health problems in Indonesia, including in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Stunting prevention requires an active role from parents or caregivers in providing proper parenting. This study aims to provide an overview of parenting styles that play an important role in stunting prevention in Kupang City, based on a literature review of the latest studies that have been conducted in the Kupang City area. This research uses the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) method through four stages, namely identification, screening, feasibility, and results received. The literature search is done by accessing an online electronic database from Google Scholar. Literature searches have been carried out online in Indonesian-language journals on the Google Scholar database in the last three years (2020-2023). The results showed that the incidence of stunting toddlers in Kupang City was influenced by improper feeding practices due to the low level of knowledge and economy. In addition, various community empowerment activities influence reducing stunting. It is hoped that community empowerment activities will continue to reduce the incidence of stunting in Kupang City.

Abstract

Postpartum stress conditions are experienced by most women. Mothers who are actively working tend to have a greater risk of Postpartum Depression than mothers who do not work. This is due to the dual roles of raising children, managing the household, and completing work matters. This study aimed to determine husbands' support for the incidence of Postpartum Depression in working women in Indonesia. This study used a literature review strategy that was reviewed from several sources such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar with a selection of articles published from 2017 to 2023. Searches in the database were carried out using keywords such as “Postpartum Depression”, “Working Women and Postpartum Depression”, and “Husband’s Role and Postpartum Depression”. The literature review results show that the main factor influencing the incidence of Postpartum Depression in Working Women is the lack of a husband's role. Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that family support, especially husbands, is needed to minimize Postpartum Depression in Working Women. It is hoped that husbands will support and help working women in taking care of their children so that Postpartum Depression does not occur.

Abstract

Fracture is a condition where there is a break in bone tissue. ORIF is a surgical procedure that aims to restore the condition of the fracture as before. The problems that arise after ORIF is the occurrence of pain and limited activity. To reduce the problems that arise is to implement ROM (Range Of Motion) early mobilization. ObjectiveROM is to increase muscle strength and reduce the pain scale experienced by patients with tibia and fibula fractures. The method in this study was quasi-experimental with the total sampling technique. The analysis in this study used the Jamovi application with the Paired Samples T-Test and Repeated Measurement ANOVA. After ROM training there was a significant increase (P-value = <0.001) during the 4 days of hospitalization with a mean difference ranging from 2.00. In early mobilization exercises carried out independently at home for 10 days there was a significant increase in muscle strength (P-value = <0.001) with a mean difference ranging from 3.40. In measuring the pain scale after the ROM intervention was carried out for 4 days in the hospital, the results showed a significant decrease (P-Value = <0.001) with a mean difference of around -2.00. Meanwhile, in measuring the pain scale on days 7 and 14 of independent ROM exercises at home, the results were not significant where the P-value = 0.363 with a difference in mean values ranging from +0.100. The application of EBNP, namely the provision of early mobilization exercises (ROM) has proven effective in increasing muscle strength and gradually reducing the pain scale in patients with tibia and fibula fractures.
