Abstract

Human resources play an important role in a company because they are a key factor in managing the company's goals. Performance assessment is one of the assessments of an employee's ability to exercise his authority. Things that can affect good employee performance include motivation, employee work discipline, supervision, leadership style, and more. The objective of this study is to see how the role of Human Resources (HR) in developing the performance of employees in the Registration Unit of the Jewelry Pamulang Hospital. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research was conducted to understand more deeply and explain the experiences experienced by individuals through in-depth interviews. The data processing of this research uses triangulation of sources and methods. The informants in this study are five people who are key informants, primary informants, and supportive informants. The study was conducted at the Pamulang Jewelry Hospital from October 2022 to January 2023. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees in the Registration Unit is good, for employees, it is almost disciplined but still, there are employees who are less disciplined. Employees' work also requires motivation from their superiors so that their performance is better. Motivation is essential because employees' motivation can work better and enthusiasm in their performance. Besides, the employee's work discipline at the Yellow Pamulang Hospital Registration Unit is quite good, because employees already understand each other's responsibilities.

Abstract

Gastritis is known among people as stomach ulcers or heartburn that comes suddenly. In developing countries, the incidence of gastritis mostly occurs in the young age group and is dominated by ≤ 20 years, namely 78.6% of this age is a teenager caused by internal factors, namely conditions that can trigger excessive gastric acid secretion and external factors that cause irritation and infection. The purpose of this study was to see if there was a relationship between eating frequency, type of meal, portion size, and stress with a history of gastritis. This study used the Quantitative Analytic method with a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted in October-December at Madrasan Aliyah Negeri 2 Cipondoh, Tangerang City. The population of this research is all students of MAN 2 Cipondoh, the target population is students of grades 11-12 of MAN 2 Cipondoh. The sample size of this study was 93 students of Cipondoh 2 Madrasah Aliyah. While taking samples using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Analysis of the research data is using chi-square. Based on the analysis, it was found that all independent variables were related to the dependent variable. Includes, frequency of eating with a p-value of 0.000, types of eating with a p-value of 0.000, portions of food with a p-value of 0.034, and stress with 0.000. It is hoped that the students of MAN 2 Cipondoh will pay more attention to their diet considering that almost half of the respondents have less frequency of eating, consume irritating types of food, and have fewer food portions.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) each year diarrhea causes 525,000 deaths in toddlers and results in 1.7 million children in the world suffering from diarrheal diseases. Riskesdas results in 2018 showed the prevalence of diarrhea in all ages as much as 8%, in toddlers as much as 12.3%, and in infants as much as 10.6%. Sample Registration System The coverage of diarrhea services in 2021 at all ages was 33.6% while in toddlers it was 23.8%. This research is a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design that uses purposive sampling techniques. This research was conducted on mothers who have toddlers in the Cirendeu Health Center Working Area in 2022. The sample in this study was 77 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study was univariate and bivariate using the Chi-square test. Bivariate test results using the Chi-Square test with α = 0.005  found results There is a relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the Cireundeu Health Center Working Area in 2022 with (p-value =  0.003 ≤ α = 0.05) and a Odds ratio value of 6.042. Based on the results of the study, this study states that there is a relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the Cireundeu Health Center Working Area in 2022. Provide education on the importance of trash cans that are closed and tightly closed.

Abstract

The need for Human resources is needed to fill the positions needed by a health service facility for the scope of employees, medical personnel, leaders, and other workers. In getting qualified employees, the hospital will select applicants when the recruitment is complete. Selection itself is an activity of separating applicants into two parts between being accepted and not being accepted. This research aims to look at the description of the selection or recruitment process for human resources (HR) at Permata Pamulang Hospital in 2022. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This research was conducted using in-depth interviews with informants about the views, beliefs, experiences, and knowledge of the informants' behavior regarding a matter as a whole. 3 informants in this study were key informants, main informants, and supporting informants. This research was conducted at Permata Pamulang Hospital from October 2022 to February 2023. The results of this study stated that recruitment planning would begin when a unit requested additional employees due to workload. After planning, Permata Pamulang Hospital will begin recruiting and selecting the desired human resources. Permata Pamulang Hospital conducts a selection of applications made by high-ranking officials such as HR, coordinators, and users from units that require new employees.

Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) is pain that is felt in the lower back area and originates in the spine, muscles, nerves, or other structures around the area. The prevalence rate of LBP in Indonesia in 2016 was 59.25%. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of low back pain in daily workers at the BBPPT Kominfo Depok project.Quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The population is daily field workers with a total of 70 people and the sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection was carried out in January 2023. Data analysis used the chi-square test α = 0.05. From the study results, the p-value of each variable was obtained, namely: Age (p-value 0.071 meaning that there is no significant relationship between age and the incidence of LBP), Body Mass Index (BMI) (p-value 1.000 meaning there is no significant relationship between BMI with the incidence of LBP), Smoking Habit (p-value 0.044 means that there is a significant relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of LBP), Working Mass (p-value 0.042 means that there is a significant relationship between working mass and the incidence of LBP), Working Time (p-value 0.017 means that there is a significant relationship between working time and the incidence of LBP) and Lifting Weight (p-value 0.013 means that there is a significant relationship between the lifting weight and the incidence of  LBP). Smoking habits, years of service, length of work, and weight of lifting have a relationship with the incidence of LBP. Reducing the length of work for daily workers so that daily workers get sufficient rest time, and providing an adequate number of assistive devices so that workers do not lift objects or materials manually.

Abstract

The incidence of stress is considered quite high, where more than 350 million people in the world experience stress. And according to the World Health Organization stress is a disease with the 4th rank in the world. It is recorded that around 10% of the population in Indonesia experience stress. Based on the results of previous research, it was found that in the coverage area of ​​Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek), there were 19 people (63.3%) online motorcycle taxi drivers who experienced stress, then online motorcycle taxi drivers who did not experience stress as many as 11 people. (36.7%). The purpose of this study was to find out the factors related to work stress in the online motorcycle taxi driver community in Depok City in 2022. The method in this study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design with a sample size of 130 respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis test showed that the variables related to work stress are age (p-value 0,000), gender (p-value 0,003), marital status (p-value 0,000), and workload (p-value 0,000). The variable that is not related to work stress is interpersonal relationships (p-value 0,236). This study concludes that the factors that have a relationship with work stress are age, gender, marital status, and workload. While the variables of interpersonal relationships have no relationship.

Abstract

The incidence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia has reached 64.5%, based on a survey conducted at one school in Garut Regency, as many as 60-70% of female students experienced primary dysmenorrhea. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the age of menarche, menstrual cycle, family history, physical activity, frequency of fast food consumption, and history of exposure to cigarette smoke with the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea. The method in this research uses cross-sectional with a total sample of 176 samples determined using stratified random sampling by determining probability using probability proportional to size then tested univariately and bivariately using Chi Square with α=0.05. The results of the study showed that factors associated with the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea included age at menarche, family history, frequency of fast food consumption, physical activity, and history of exposure to cigarette smoke. Meanwhile, the menstrual cycle is not related to the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea. Suggestions that researchers can give include students being more careful and aware of themselves to prevent primary dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta has experienced an increase in waste every year. Currently, waste in DKI Jakarta has reached 7,400 tons/day and in the City of South Jakarta in 2021 it produced 1,937 tons/day and 532,885 tons/year of waste. This research aims to determine the relationship between Housewives' Behavior in Waste Management in RW 07 Petukangan Selatan Village in 2022. This study used quantitative methods with an observational analytical approach, and a cross-sectional study design, using purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The results of this study found no relationship between education and the behavior of housewives p-value (of 0.810) and there was no relationship between attitudes with the behavior of housewives with a p-value (of 0.094), related variables namely knowledge with a p-value  (0.007) and infrastructure with p-value  (0.008). In this study, it was found that there was no relationship between education and attitudes toward waste management behavior, but there was a relationship between knowledge and infrastructure and waste management behavior. For the community to participate in a series of training activities related to waste management carried out by the government to get knowledge that can be applied to the environment.

Abstract

Coronaviruses, which are responsible for diseases in humans and animals, including Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and COVID-19, are a group of viruses known to cause respiratory infections in humans. Monitoring data for COVID-19 in South Tangerang City until February 2 2023 states that South Tangerang City is in the first level with the highest cases in Banten Province with 117,671 positive confirmed cases. This study aims to determine the determinants associated with COVID-19 prevention behavior in Women of Reproductive Age. This research was conducted in January 2023 using a cross-sectional design. The research sample was taken using the One-Stage Cluster and found as many as 190 women aged between 15-49 years. The results showed that most of the behaviors for preventing COVID-19 were good, most were aged <25 years (63.7%), had secondary education (58.9%), working status (60%), good knowledge (95, 3%) and good attitude (52.1%). In the variables of age, education, work, and knowledge, the results obtained were p value > 0.05. Meanwhile, the attitude variable obtained a p-value <0.05. Age, education, occupation, and knowledge are not related to COVID-19 prevention and only attitude factors are related to COVID-19 prevention behavior. It is recommended for the community to improve good attitudes to produce good COVID-19 prevention behavior.

Abstract

Based on the Indonesian Health Profile (2021), Banten Province is one of the provinces whose health service coverage for school-age children is still limited. Apart from that, the attendance rate of teenagers at the youth Posyandu in the Cipondoh Community Health Center working area was still below the target in the last year, namely only 15% of the target set at 70%. This research design used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 50 teenagers. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test (α 0.005). There is a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.000), distance (p=0.020), peer support (p=0.008), and the level of attendance of teenagers at the youth Posyandu. There is no significant relationship between family support and adolescent attendance at the youth Posyandu. Factors related to the level of attendance of teenagers at the youth Posyandu in the Cipondoh Community Health Center working area in 2022 are knowledge, distance, and peer support. Suggestions that can be given are to empower youth Posyandu cadres in each RW to be able to coordinate teenagers to come to youth Posyandu and carry out activities that can attract teenagers to come to Posyandu.
