Abstract

This study aims to describe, explain and know the quality management of learning planning, quality management of learning implementation, quality management of learning evaluation, and quality management of follow-up evaluation of online learning in SMP Techno Insan Kamil.Technique used as data collecting tool in this research is interview technique, observation, and documentation. This research was conducted on Islamic Education Teachers (PAI) and Principal in SMA NU Bancar. The data analysis technique in this research is using data reduction techniques, data display and draw conclusions. To test the validity of the data using triangulation. The result of this research shows that Quality Management of Learning Planning at SMP Techno Insan Kamil. has been done well, that is planning, organizing, processing time, media selection and method as stated in RPP and Syllabus. The Quality Management of Online Learning in SMA NU Bancar. has been implemented well, where the teacher performs opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. Furthermore, Quality Management of Learning Evaluation in SMA NU Bancar. has been applied effectively ie the teacher performs evaluation planning based on Competence Standards and Basic Competence, in the assessment is done by arranged and based on the assessment indicators and the follow-up of Remidial and Enrichment on the students. As well as Quality Control of Learning Supervision has also been well implemented in SMA NU Bancar. ie supervision of the implementation of learning done by the principal directly.

Abstract

Information technology is increasingly developing and has an impact on the fact that the world seems to be borderless, which is a challenge in the world of education, especially Islamic religious education. The term global village as an impact of globalization leads to a model of life in which various cultures meet and interact more intensely ideological contestation, and cross-cultural communication. Therefore this reality must be addressed wisely and prudently. If cultural diversity and differences are not managed properly, it will have an impact on disharmony and polarization in society. One of the efforts to respond to this reality is multiculturalism. Education in Indonesia, especially Islamic education, requires a learning model based on multiculturalism, bearing in mind that Indonesia as a plural country is required to care for and manage its diversity properly. This study took the locus of Mojokerto district where the subject of this study was a PAI teacher. This study uses a qualitative approach to data that will be collected and analyzed and tested for its validity through technical credibility, transferability, confirmability, and dependability. The results of the study illustrate that the multiculturalism learning model for PAI teachers is based on the reality of the elements and structure of PAI learning including multiculturalism and its values. In addressing the cultural diversity of students, teachers practice multicultural values ​​such as tolerance. In the realm of objectives, materials, media, methods, and evaluation of Islamic education teachers are required to internalize it with multiculturalism and its values ​​such as tolerance and mutual respect.

Abstract

Kehidupan umat Islam di Indonesia memiliki kedekatan yang erat dengan Al-Qur'an sebagai sumber ajaran agama. Namun, sayangnya, banyak masyarakat yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca Al-Qur'an dengan baik dan benar. Masalah ini menjadi semakin mengkhawatirkan ketika hasil survey dari Institut Ilmu Al-Qur'an (IIQ) Jakarta menyatakan bahwa sekitar 65% umat Islam di Indonesia masih tergolong buta aksara Al-Qur'an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis manajemen program kelas Al-Qur'an di MTs NU Hasan Muchyi Kediri, khususnya pada program tahsin dan tahfidz beserta implikasinya. Studi ini menjadi sangat penting karena peran program pendidikan dalam membentuk kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an yang baik dan benar sangatlah krusial. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Manajemen program kelas Al-Qur’an di MTs NU Hasan Muchyi belum bisa dikatakan berhasil sepenuhnya karena masih harus dilakukan perbaikan dibeberapa hal. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan dalam manajerial program Tahsin dan program Tahfidz. Pada program Tahsin, perencanaannya sangat bagus, namun pelaksanaan dan evaluasinya masih perlu perbaikan. Sedangkan pada program Tahfidz manajemennya sudah baik. terlihat dari kesesuaian antara perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasinya. 2) Implikasi program kelas Al-Qur’an Tahsin dan Tahfidz di MTs NU Hasan Muchyi sangat positif baik bagi internal maupun eksternal madrasah. implikasi tersebut diantaranya adalah meningkatnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami ilmu baca tulis Al-Qur’an, menciptakan kepuasan pada wali peserta didik, dan kepercayaan terhadap madrasah meningkat. Secara tidak langsung, program ini juga turut membantu membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakhlakul karimah dan mendorong mereka untuk lebih mendalam dalam memahami ajaran Islam

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are essential components in supporting the learning process in education. Proper management of facilities and infrastructure ensures their optimal, effective, and efficient use during the learning process, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of education. Conversely, poor management of facilities and infrastructure can hinder an efficient learning process. For instance, a comfortable classroom with complete facilities allows students to focus and feel at ease during their studies. This study aims to describe the management of facilities and infrastructure and examine their impact on improving the quality of education. This qualitative research was conducted at MAN 1 Samarinda, with data collected through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by collecting, organizing, interpreting the data, and presenting it in a narrative form before drawing conclusions. The results of this study reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MAN 1 Samarinda plays a crucial role. In addition to facilitating various tasks, proper management also supports a smooth teaching and learning process, creating a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment. This demonstrates that facilities and infrastructure are essential for both educators and students, particularly in efforts to enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

Results This research aims to determine student learning outcomes by applying the Rolling Ball learning media in fiqh subjects and as an alternative for teachers in an effort to provide understanding to students and improve student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection instruments through observation, interviews, pre-test and post-test questions. The subjects taken in this research were the MA Al-Bayruni school class XI-IPA 2 Sambong. The results of the data normality test obtained values from the pre-test and post-test results that were greater than 0.05, namely 0.091>0.05 and 0.026>0.05, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. The results of the analysis using the t test obtained a result of 0.008 < 0.05 so it can be said that there is an influence from the application of the Rolling Ball learning model to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Reading comprehension skill is important requirement that must be possessed by college students in learning English. To support college students reading skill development, the role of lecturer and learning materials are crucial. This research aims to find empirical evidence the effect of learning process, college students activities, university facilities, and lecturer activities on English reading skills. This study applied quantitative method with causally associative approach. College students majoring of Management, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta were being populations in this study. The research sample consisted of 110 college students and was selected through the use of purposive sampling. Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is used in the data analysis with SmartPLS. The result of this study indicate that learning process, university facilities and lecturer activities have significant effect on English reading skills in Faculty of Economics, Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. On the other hand, college students activities had no effect on English reading skills. The implication of this research is lecturer to be more creative in the use of technological media in learning that can make college students enjoy learning more. This research also provides valuable insights for educational institutions aiming to sustain and improve university quality by focusing on learning process and university facilities as key drivers of success.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the level of environmental literacy among students in the Social Studies Education Program at UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember who have completed the course "Environmental Education and Sustainable Development." The research employed a quantitative descriptive method, using a questionnaire as the instrument to measure environmental literacy. The subjects of the study were selected through random sampling, involving 30 students from the total population. The level of environmental literacy was analyzed through four key aspects: environmental knowledge, Environmental attitudes, Cognitive skills, and environmentally responsible behavior. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it is concluded that environmental literacy falls into the medium category. The average score for environmental knowledge was 47.63 (categorized as high). The score for environmental attitude was 16.46 (categorized as moderate). The score for cognitive skills was 15.5 (categorized as moderate). The score for environmentally responsible behavior was 33.93 (categorized as moderate). In general, the students' level of environmental literacy falls within the moderate category. These findings suggest that strengthening environmental literacy among students is necessary through innovative learning methods, enabling them to achieve a high level of environmental literacy. Family and environmental factors also play a significant role in fostering the development of environmentally conscious attitudes and strong environmental stewardship skills among university students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the management of Islamic boarding schools (dayah) based on local wisdom at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah, Bireuen, Aceh. Employing a qualitative approach through a case study method, data were collected via in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the management of the dayah is grounded in six core pillars: (1) charismatic leadership of ulama as the managerial axis, (2) decision-making through musyawarah (deliberation) reflecting traditional democracy, (3) discipline enforcement through exemplary conduct, (4) strong social relations between the dayah and the community as a source of legitimacy and support, (5) the use of kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts) as a traditional pedagogical system and a means for internalizing values, and (6) an adaptive management model that responds to contemporary challenges without compromising traditional identity. These findings both affirm and modify established theories such as charismatic leadership, communitarian democracy, social capital, and adaptive management by embedding them within a framework of spiritual and local values. The study proposes several theoretical contributions, including the concepts of spiritual-local leadership, deliberative spiritual governance, ta’dib-based discipline, embedded education institution, integrated adab-based curriculum, and transformative-local management. Thus, the dayah’s management based on local wisdom emerges as a contextual, sustainable, and character-oriented model for Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the character education management model based on the traditional Islamic boarding school (dayah) system at Dayah MUDI Mesra Samalanga, one of the largest Islamic educational institutions in Aceh. Amidst the current moral crisis among youth, pesantren play a significant role in instilling values through value-based and exemplary approaches. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the character education management model at Dayah MUDI Mesra is not formally documented in a written curriculum but operates systematically through three key stages: (1) planning based on values and scholarly traditions inherited across generations, (2) implementation through role modeling, habituation, and collective supervision, and (3) evaluation through moral and spiritual guidance rather than administrative assessment. Character education is not limited to formal instruction but is embedded in the daily social and religious life of the students. This model demonstrates that value-based character education management can create a consistent and authentic moral development environment. This study recommends integrating Islamic value-based educational management principles into the development of character education curricula in formal educational institutions, drawing inspiration from the local wisdom and educational practices of pesantren.

Abstract

This study explores the significance of local culinary traditions, particularly Tepa Slira and Empan Papan, as a reflection of tolerance in diverse communities in Kudus, Indonesia. This research highlights how this culinary practice contains the value of mutual respect and understanding, which is essential for creating harmony in a multicultural society. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved in-depth interviews with community leaders, religious leaders, and culinary actors to gather insights into the role of these traditions in promoting social cohesion. Key findings suggest that Tepa Slira, which emphasizes mutual respect, and Empan Papan, which advocates for putting everything in its place, serve as cultural cornerstones for tolerance. This research reveals that these traditions not only strengthen social bonds during religious celebrations and cultural festivals but also provide a framework for dialogue and understanding between different faiths. Despite the challenges faced by globalization and social change, this study emphasizes the importance of educational initiatives and community involvement in preserving these values. Finally, these findings suggest that Kudus can be a model for other regions in building tolerant and harmonious societies through the celebration of diversity.
