Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the Education Management Information System (SIM Pendidikan) plays a role in improving student data management and the teaching-learning process at Sukma Bangsa High School in Lhokseumawe. In this study, qualitative methods were applied and data were collected through observation techniques and interviews with relevant resource persons. From the results of the study, it was revealed that the Education Management Information System (SIM Pendidikan), which includes SISTO and SIMAKA, has successfully integrated student data and curriculum management effectively. Although it is efficient in information management, challenges such as network limitations are still faced. However, planned evaluation efforts by the pusdatin team and system improvement plans have been identified to overcome these obstacles. Thus, SIM Pendidikan proved to make a valuable contribution in improving the effectiveness of student data management and learning processes at Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe High School. The results also highlighted the success of the Education SIM in improving parental engagement through online access to monitor the progress of their children's grades. Nonetheless, some technical constraints such as power outages or server problems are still a challenge, although pusdatin is actively addressing them. Planned evaluations by the pusdatin team are expected to improve the Education SIM by adding new features and making improvements based on the evaluation results. Although this process may be time-consuming, the system has proven to make a valuable contribution to teachers and school staff in completing their tasks more efficiently. The results of this study illustrate the importance of an Education SIM in an educational context.

Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam membekali individu dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan untuk menghadapi kehidupan. Namun, tantangan muncul ketika lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak mampu mengadaptasi kurikulum dengan konteks zaman, sehingga menyebabkan penafsiran yang salah terhadap ayat-ayat suci dan munculnya radikalisme. Artikel ini membahas tentang integrasi pendidikan profetik dalam kurikulum pesantren sebagai jantung kerukunan umat beragama, dengan fokus pada perspektif QS Ali Imran ayat 110. Artikel ini mengusulkan konsep pendidikan profetik berdasarkan tafsir QS Ali Imran ayat 110 oleh Kuntowijoyo, yang mengedepankan aspek-aspek humanisasi, liberasi, dan transendensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan profetik dalam kurikulum pesantren dapat dilakukan melalui pemanusiaan anak didik, pengembangan ruang diskusi dan berpikir kritis, pemberian kesempatan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi diri, serta pembiasaan kegiatan spiritual. Dengan demikian, lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat menjadi jantung kerukunan umat beragama dengan menghasilkan individu yang menjadi rahmatan lil 'alamin, sesuai dengan konsep pendidikan profetik dalam QS Ali Imran ayat 110.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menelaah makna istifham dalam al-Qur’an, dengan menyoroti perangkat linguistik yang digunakan dalam membangun dan menyampaikan makna pertanyaan dalam konteks wacana Islam kontemporer. Istifham dalam al-Qur’an tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat untuk mengajukan pertanyaan, tetapi juga memiliki peran penting dalam menegaskan keyakinan, menggugah kesadaran moral, serta mengarahkan pembaca pada perenungan teologis yang mendalam. Melalui pendekatan analisis linguistik dan tafsir, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai bentuk istifham serta menelaah dan mengeksplorasi fungsi dan pengaruhnya dalam dinamika pemaknaan teks al-Qur’an. Studi ini menemukan bahwa perangkat istifham memiliki daya tarik tersendiri dalam menarik perhatian pembaca terhadap aspek-aspek teologis, moralitas, dan etika yang dibahas dalam al-Qur’an. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyoroti relevansi perangkat istifham dalam konteks wacana Islam kontemporer, terutama dalam menjawab tantangan modern seperti pluralisme, keadilan sosial, dan pendidikan Islam di era digital. Temuan penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa istifham dalam al-Qur’an dapat berfungsi sebagai kerangka kerja kritis yang membantu pembaca dalam memahami dan mengapresiasi nilai-nilai Islam yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman modern. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan studi tafsir al-Qur’an serta memperkaya wacana teologi Islam dengan pendekatan yang lebih dinamis dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hakikat dari sumber daya (jism, nafs, aql, qalb, dan ruh) yang dimiliki manusia sebagai landasan pengembangan pendidikan Islam kurikulum merdeka. Studi ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur terhadap jurnal maupun buku ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan objek yang diteliti. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi dengan pemilihan data-data berdasarkan dokumen-dokumen tertentu yang berhubungan terhadap permasalahan penelitian. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada fokus penelitian terhadap aspek sumber daya yang dimiliki manusia yang berpotensi dalam keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan Islam dalam kurikulum merdeka di masa modern saat ini. Hasil studi menjelaskan hakikat sumber daya (jism, nafs, aql, qalb dan ruh) manusia merupakan karunia dari Allah yang dibawa manusia sejak lahir guna mengenali dan menjadikan dirinya selaras dengan tujuan penciptaannya yakni sebagai abdullah khalifatullah yang membedakannya dengan ciptaan Allah lainnya. Sumber daya (jism, nafs, aql, qalb, dan ruh) memiliki potensi masing-masing yang diistimewakan dan dapat dimaksimalkan sebagai basis data dalam merumuskan landasan pendidikan Islam dalam kurikulum merdeka yang mampu menghasilkan manusia yang beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, cerdas, kreatif, berkemandirian berdasar pada prinsip pemberdayaan, pengembangan diri, sosial kolaborasi, pendidikan karakter, dan pendidikan seumur hidup dalam perumusan kurikulum merdeka

Abstract

The importance of cultivating moderate character in santri as a result of efforts to prevent radicalism and terrorism in Indonesia as well as instilling moderate character in santri so that they can live in harmony in Indonesia within Indonesia's diversity. The formal diniyah education program was designed by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia to produce a moderate cadre of ulama with the characteristics of the six moderate characteristics of the students of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, implemented at the Nurul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in Banjarmasin and capable of producing a cadre of ulama who are broad-minded and have a moderate character. The focus of the problem in this research is the form of cultivating the moderate character of santri which includes six moderate characters of santri of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through the formal diniyah education program at the Nurul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Banjarmasin, as well as the factors that support and hinder its implementation. Data collection techniques for this research include using interviews, observation and documentation. cultivating moderate character for santri which includes six moderate character traits for santri. The Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia uses character cultivation methods such as example, habituation, giving advice, targhib wa tahzib, and the takzir method which is in accordance with the principles of cultivating moderate character of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Religion. Supporting factors include cooperation from all parties involved, intensive character cultivation, and strong determination and motivation from the students. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the lack of quantity and quality of teachers, excessive use of devices outside school hours, and lack of cooperation from parents.

Abstract

This article examines the narrative of the descent of Prophet Adam and Eve from heaven to earth, by comparing the perspectives contained in the Qur'an and the Bible. This article is a qualitative research that uses a linguistic approach with a focus on intertextuality analysis. The aim is to explore and compare the narrative of Adam's descent in the Qur'an and the Bible through the lens of Julia Kristeva's theory, which emphasizes the social, cultural, and historical context in understanding the text. Data were collected from literature studies, including primary sources such as the texts of the Qur'an, the Bible, and Kristeva's works. The analysis was conducted descriptively-analystically to examine the intertextual elements and dynamics of meaning from both texts. This study also applies theoretical triangulation to ensure the validity of the data by comparing the results of the analysis with other theoretical perspectives. With this approach, the article aims to reveal the deeper meaning of the story of Adam's descent and its contribution to the understanding of human identity and morality in a religious context. This article highlights differences in narrative details, such as the location of the descent and the consequences of Adam and Eve's actions, and how this story reflects gender and identity dynamics. By referring to the social and cultural context, this article shows that the story of Adam is not only a religious story, but also a reflection on the complex human condition.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are essential components in supporting the learning process in education. Proper management of facilities and infrastructure ensures their optimal, effective, and efficient use during the learning process, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of education. Conversely, poor management of facilities and infrastructure can hinder an efficient learning process. For instance, a comfortable classroom with complete facilities allows students to focus and feel at ease during their studies. This study aims to describe the management of facilities and infrastructure and examine their impact on improving the quality of education. This qualitative research was conducted at MAN 1 Samarinda, with data collected through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by collecting, organizing, interpreting the data, and presenting it in a narrative form before drawing conclusions. The results of this study reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MAN 1 Samarinda plays a crucial role. In addition to facilitating various tasks, proper management also supports a smooth teaching and learning process, creating a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment. This demonstrates that facilities and infrastructure are essential for both educators and students, particularly in efforts to enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

This study explores the relevance of Ivan Pavlov's Classical Conditioning theory in habituating Islamic values through Islamic Religious Education (PAI). It aims to analyze how stimulus-response principles from behavioral psychology can shape students' Islamic character. Employing a qualitative library research method, the study reviews core concepts such as acquisition, extinction, generalization, and discrimination, and their application in fostering habits like praying before studying and maintaining discipline in worship. The findings highlight that consistent use of these principles, combined with a supportive and enjoyable learning environment, enhances the internalization of Islamic values. Furthermore, Pavlov’s laws—respondent conditioning and extinction—offer a pedagogical foundation for forming religious habits that support the affective and psychomotor aspects of learning. The study concludes that classical conditioning provides a strategic framework for developing PAI methods that prioritize behavioral transformation over mere cognitive instruction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the values in the Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin and analyze them from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an hadith and with Thomas Lickona's Knowing, Feeling, and Action character education theory. The method used in this research is literature analysis of Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin in government regulations with an interpretive approach to analyze the signs of the Koran and hadith as well as Lickona's theoretical views on Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin  character education. The results of this research explain that Profil Pelajar Pancasila Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin character education has 6 dimensions of P5, namely faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity, and 10 dimensions of P2RA, namely ta'addub, qudwah, muwatanah, tawassut, tawazun, I'tidal, musawah, shura, tasamuh, tatawwur wa ibtikar which are integrated using 9 principles of holistic, contextual, learner-centered, explorative, togetherness, diversity, independence, usefulness and religiosity which are in line with the values Qur'ani and hadith and prophetic practices by describing the three important components of developing Thomas Lickona's character education to achieve the student profile of Pancasila and rahmatan lil 'alamin by national education goals.
