Abstract

In every teaching and learning process, it will never be separated from learning difficulties, especially during a pandemic like today. Teaching and learning activities in the General Biology course are not free from learning difficulties. This study aims to analyze how difficult it is for students of the UNINDRA mathematics education study program to study General Biology courses. This study uses descriptive qualitative research techniques, where this research method seeks in-depth answers about a phenomenon that is currently happening. From the evaluation results, it was found that around 40% of lecturers use Whatsapp in the teaching and learning process, 0% zoom meetings, 20% Google Classroom, and 10% google meet. In this study, students of the UNINDRA mathematics education study program experienced learning difficulties as seen from the indicators we observed; 90% of lecturers or teaching staff, 87% teaching aids, 65% building conditions, 75% curriculum, 70% lesson time, 75% discipline level, 69% motivation and 80% learning media.

Abstract

Student management aims to standardize various activities in the field of student affairs, so that learning activities in schools can be carried out smoothly, and in an orderly manner. To achieve this goal, the three main tasks in the field of student management are student admissions, learning progress activities, and subject guidance and development. The author uses qualitative research methods based on literature studies concerning books, journals, scientific articles, etc. This research is also equipped with an interview method in deepening the content of the discussion and as a complement to the content of the discussion. Student Management as management has the most important role in all matters relating to its relation to students starting from the existence of a plan, acceptance of new students, coaching in the form of activities that exist for students while in school until come to students who have completed their educational studies at school. Determination of the number of students accepted by SD Tarsisius Vireta in one class containing 28 students per class. Each class at SD Tarsisius Vireta has 5 classes, namely from A - E. However, for example, if there are 28 students in each class and A - E has been filled but there are still 2 more students then the 2 students will not be accepted by the party. school. We can conclude that the management at SD Tarsisius Vireta is very good and very well organized.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan program untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan mengurangi jumlah buta huruf yang berdampak baik kepada pemerintah Belanda dan rakyat pribumi. Pada masa kolonial Belanda Pendidikan formal sangat susah untuk masyarakat pribumi baik kaum priyayi maupun masyarakat biasa. Setelah menerapkan politik etis pada awal abad 20 dan lambat laun semakin banyak sekolah formal yang didirikan di Hindia Belanda, dampak dari kebijakan etis ini adalah melahirkan para intelektual yang akhirnya akan menyadari bahwa bangsanya sedang dalam kebebasan dan menginginkan perubahan. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana awal kebijakan politik etis, bagaimana sistem pendidikan masa kolonial, bagaimana lembaga pendidikan masa kolonial. Dari rumusan masalah yang diangkat, tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana awal kebijakan politik etis, bagaimana sistem Pendidikan masa kolonial dan mengetahui Lembaga Pendidikan pada masa kolonial. Dalam penulisan artikel ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan sumber sekunder seperti buku dan jurnal ilmiah. Abstract

Today education has become a title that is widely used by the wider community to achieve prosperity and happiness in life. Therefore, it is from education that the mindset of a community can be developed to take action for the long term. Education and the education system in Indonesia itself has in fact existed long before the colonialism and imperialism era occurred. At first, education in Indonesia started from a simple one, then developed in religious education until then it was influenced by western education brought by the colonizers. Entering the 20th century in the Dutch East Indies also marked the beginning of an ethical era that included three areas of progress, one of which was education as a form of gratitude and moral responsibility for the treatment of the Dutch Government during the exploitation of the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia). The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the history of medical schools in Indonesia and their impact on society. This research method uses the historical method with a descriptive qualitative approach which is based on the available data. The results showed that the establishment of the STOVIA Medical School was initiated by the presence of several types of infectious diseases in Indonesia which made the Dutch government overwhelmed in dealing with them. Developments in the field of education during the colonial era have created literacy groups that are considered by the community as Priyayi. At that time, STOVIA had a policy of denying access to higher education for women. Educational opportunities were open, but the Dutch colonial government imposed education costs on women. This is in stark contrast to men who do not pay tuition. Various policies to revitalize the curriculum color the journey of this medical school. STOVIA alumni are well-known as the founders of the momentum for national awakening who have a very high concern for the community. Not a few STOVIA alumni have opened a practice without asking for a penny in return for small communities in need.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in biology class XI science, the subject of the excretory system, is a problem that must be addressed immediately. The low learning outcomes are due to the low quality of learning in the classroom, including lack of motivation to learn, inappropriate learning models, incomplete infrastructure, and lack of opportunities for teachers to participate in training to improve teacher performance. This study aims to determine the application of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in improving student learning outcomes in Biology subjects in class XI IPA on the subject of the excretory system. The results showed that in the first action of the number of students as many as 36 people who got a score greater than or equal to the 2.67 KKM limit, as many as 11 students or 28.95% while in the second action the students who got a score above the KKM or 2 ,67 as many as 32 students or 84.21%. This means that there are significant differences in learning using the STAD method on student learning outcomes, so it can be concluded that learning using the STAD model can improve student learning outcomes in Biology subjects in class XI IPA, the subject of the excretory system.

Abstract

Abstrak: Karier adalah hal yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Hal ini dikarenakan pada dasarnya ada dorongan untuk berkembangan dalam hidup. Hanya saja terkadang timbul kebingungan atau ketidakmampuan dalam membuat keputusan karier. Salah satu alternatif solusi untuk membantu seseorang yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat keputusan karier adalah melalui layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling berbasis teori trait and factor. Teori trait and factor adalah teori konseling karier yang memandang bahwa pilihan karier yang tepat itu adalah ketika ada kecocokan antara trait yang dimiliki klien dengan factor suatu pekerjaan atau posisi jabatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Literatur-literatur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku dan artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji secara mendalam konsep dan pengaplikasian teori trait and factor dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling karier. Hasil penelitian ini adalah analisa dan ulasan mengenai konsep teori trait and factor serta pengaplikasiannya dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling karier.

Abstract

The journey in the culture of the Ethnic Chinese side brings historical evidence in witnessing their journey. Starting from the architecture, dance, musical instruments, etc. which is passed down from generation to generation. One of them is embedded in the absolute historical testimony of the Chinese Ethnic in Tangerang is contained in the body of the Boen Tek Bio Temple. Basically, between generations who pass down blood ties do not fully understand the importance of a historical trace in the architecture that was established, especially the Boen Tek Bio Temple as a place of worship for the Chinese. This is what makes an implication in historical traces so that they require them to be able to know and introduce the history in the Boen Tek Bio Temple. This also creates history on the side that is not extinct and always gets re-examination in other research innovations. Thus, the Boen Tek Bio Temple is used as a cultural heritage of the ancestral heritage of the Chinese in Tangerang. Apart from being a place of worship, the Boen Tek Bio Temple also keeps a historical imprint that needs to be implanted and passed on by word of mouth and between generations. This is what makes the history of the Boen Tek Bio Temple to be well maintained and implemented as a cultural heritage.

Abstract

Sejak tahun 2019 masyarakat dunia telah memasuki era society 5.0. Era society 5.0 adalah era manusia dan teknologi selalu berdampingan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Era society 5.0 menimbulkan dampak positif dan dampak negatif dalam kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam kehidupan mahasiswa. Mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi perlu dipersiapkan menjadi lulusan yang dapat beradaptasi dengan era society 5.0, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Bimbingan dan Konseling di perguruan tinggi memiliki peran penting dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji, membahas, dan menganalisa pelaksanaan Bimbingan dan Konseling di perguruan tinggi pada era society 5.0. Literatur yang digunakan sebagai data penelitian adalah buku, artikel ilmiah, laporan hasil penelitian, dan salinan dokumen peraturan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kajian, pembahasan, dan analisa pelaksanaan Bimbingan dan Konseling di Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of learning independence and emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities, (2) the effect of independent learning on problem solving abilities, (3) the effect of emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities. This research is a survey research because it does not provide treatment, but only reveals facts that occur naturally and are already ongoing. The research subjects were 74 grade VIII SMP YAPIDA students in the 2019/2020 school year. The data was collected using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. Questionnaire or questionnaire method to collect data on Independent Learning, Emotional Intelligence, and Problem Solving. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. In this study, 54% of the total population was taken as a sample in class VIII SMP Yapida as many as 40 students, while the sample for the instrument test was 34 samples. The results of independent learning and emotional intelligence on problem solving have a probability value of 0.002 < (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The results of independent learning on problem solving abilities show a significance value of Tcount 2.04 > 2.022 T table (significance level 5%) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of learning independence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor". The results of the significance test of emotional intelligence on problem-solving abilities with the t-test obtained a Tcount of 3.62 and a T-table of 2.022. These results show a significance value of Tcount 3.62 > 2.022 T table (5% significance level) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor".

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mathematical logical intelligence and self-efficacy on mathematical problem solving abilities. This research method uses a survey method. The population in this study were 277 students. The sample used was 74 students. This research was conducted using a questionnaire and a test with a sample of 30 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling technique. Measurement and data collection of students' mathematical problem solving abilities using a written test instrument in the form of an essay totaling 6 valid questions and taking data on mathematical logical intelligence and self-efficacy using a questionnaire totaling 22 questions and 24 valid questions. The results showed that the significant test was obtained Fℎ???????????????????? = 139.969 while F???????????????????? = 3, 13 which stated that was rejected and 1 was accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between mathematical logical intelligence and self-efficacy on mathematical problem solving abilities.
