Abstract

This research is the result of combining several articles, journals and books that discuss the impact of curriculum changes on the learning process. In its journey, Indonesia has experienced various changes in the curriculum model since independence. According to law No. 20 of 2003, curriculum is a set of plans and setting goals, content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for organizing learning in achieving national education goals. A good curriculum is a curriculum that is developed according to the living conditions of students. Develop abilities or competencies to achieve goals as needed. Of course, the curriculum is refined year after year. Because technology is growing. If no changes to the curriculum are made, the quality of education in Indonesia will continue to decline because the learning system only implements an outdated or old curriculum. This article wants to describe in more detail about how curriculum changes in the teaching and learning process experienced by teachers or students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Group Counseling with a Transactional Analysis approach to overcome aggressiveness. The type of research used is literature study, namely research that uses various literature or various library information as research objects. Transactional analysis is an approach in counseling that can be used as a treatment in group counseling. Transactional is a communication relationship between a person and another person, so this approach is more widely applied in a group atmosphere which is an atmosphere where there is a relationship with other people. The form and method of communication will reflect whether there are problems experienced. Aggressiveness is a tendency or urge to harm others by various forms of action.

Abstract

The success of a teaching and learning process can be seen from the level of students' mastery of the material being taught. If as part of the students have mastered the material, it can be seen that the teaching and learning process has been successful. With regard to the teaching and learning process itself, the authors see the fact that there are still many elementary school students, especially fifth grade students at SDN 2 Cidatar who experience difficulties in social studies learning, one of the reasons being that the teacher is not optimal in choosing the learning method used. Learning Social Sciences is inseparable from the tendency of the teacher centered learning process. Such conditions make the learning process only controlled by the teacher. Regarding the not yet optimal social studies learning outcomes for class V SDN 2 Cidatar in terms of efforts to improve student learning outcomes, the authors seek to apply the Role Playing learning model as an alternative meaningful learning that leads to active, creative, effective, and fun learning. The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out whether the application of the role playing method can improve student learning outcomes and can also make it easier for students to understand the material to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle contained four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The method used in this study refers to Kurt Lewin's model which consists of four main components of class research namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data analysis in this classroom action research used quantitative and qualitative analysis of social studies learning outcomes in the analysis starting from cycle 1 and cycle 2 to be compared with percentage descriptive techniques. After applying the Role Playing method in social studies learning on the material to improve student learning outcomes, students understand more about this material. This can be proven in increased student learning outcomes. the lowest cycle I was 40 Cycle II was 66, the average value of cycle I was 68.2 cycle II was 78.4 and the learning mastery of cycle I was 67%, and cycle II was 100%. The suggestions that can be given are: (1) The teacher should be more creative in choosing various methods that suit the demands of the needs and circumstances of the students and the characteristics of the subject matter to be delivered. (2) Role playing learning is an alternative that deserves to be developed to overcome the problem of low learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain counseling adolescents who are addicted to k-pop through cognitive behavioral therapy. Teenagers who use gadgets are increasing. The impact of its use can be positive and negative. However, k-pop addiction among teenagers has a negative impact so they tend to forget their study assignments, forgetting to fulfill basic needs such as eating, drinking, bathing, and having problems sleeping. Of course, teenagers who experience the negative effects of k-pop need cognitive behavioral therapy by a counselor. The method used in this paper is library research (Library Research). The approach used is a group counseling approach with the theory of cognitive behavioral therapy. This paper concludes that adolescents who are addicted to k-pop can be treated through cognitive behavioral counseling which refers to cognitive correction that is distorted due to events that harm them both physically and psychologically. Through this therapy, adolescents who are experiencing biological, cognitive, and emotional changes can recover to control themselves.

Abstract

Education is defined as a means of civilizing and distributing values that can shape a better character. Character education aims to form moral, intelligent, rational, innovative, hard-working, optimistic, and confident human beings. Qur'anic character is a character that must be instilled in every child. Islamic boarding school is an environment that is able to build the Qur'anic character of every child because boarding school is an educational institution that upholds religious values. This article describes the Quranic character education applied in a islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology, which is located at girls islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan. The data obtained are based on two sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Furthermore, checking the validity of the data by extending observations, triangulation. The results of this study are: The caregive of the girls Islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan has a very important role in Qur'ani character education. student. Qur'anic character education  what the caregivers do to the female students in this boarding school uses several concepts, namely imitating the Prophet Muhammad, exemplary and habituation. This aims to make female students have good morals in line with the moral values contained in the holy book Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

We still encounter many students at school who often commit acts that violate school rules, in other words, there are juvenile delinquents. The existence of juvenile delinquency behavior needs to get special attention and approach. In this paper the author offers an approach or reality counseling to overcome the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency in students due to broken homes. The purpose of this counseling practice is to find out the efforts and success in dealing with broken home juvenile delinquency through reality counseling. The method used is a literature review or also called a literature review where a study makes descriptions of reading sources, be it books, journals, articles, and magazines. Literature review or called a literature review or literature review, a literature review is a description or description of literature that is relevant to a particular field or topic. The findings of this research are the counselor invites the counselee to understand and make the counselee aware that the condition of a broken home does not always have to be used as an excuse for the counselee to commit acts of delinquency as a way of fulfilling their basic needs. Reality counseling helps counselees face reality and meet basic needs without harming themselves or others. The counselee is invited to act realistically according to the fact that he is in a family environment that is not conducive to meeting his needs.

Abstract

Some students in the last semester experience a lot of academic anxiety in completing their final assignment, because some final students, be it looking for titles, reading references, facing supervisors, facing thesis exams, always feel afraid so that the fear they always feel will make their actions negative or irrational. group counseling approaches that exist in guidance and counseling. The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Approach in Group Counseling changes negative perceptions or ways of thinking and acting to be better and more focused. The purpose of writing this article is so that students in completing their final assignment do not experience academic anxiety and students can change their negative perceptions where students will think in a positive direction, and the final assignment can be completed properly. Writing this article uses literature review or also called literature review. The literature is a description or description of the literature that is relevant to a particular field or topic. The results of the literature review show that with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in group counseling students will have a positive perception and are always enthusiastic and motivated to pass quickly in completing their thesis or final assignment so that Academic anxiety experienced by students will be resolved.

Abstract

ABSTRCT Adolescence is a transition period that experienced many changes both physical, emotional, social, way of thinking and behavior. Negative self image arises from within the client which stems from the beliefs and negative thought patterns of the counselee towards himself. Someone with a negative self image tends to be a pessimistic person, feel his life is not happy to feel himself worthless, do not dare to face new challenges, can not stand criticism, feel insecure, inferior, can not accept its advantages and disadvantages. Where, feeling these feeling come from thinking irrational/negative, then he believed in his heart and the realization of negative behavior. The purpose of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy is to change the irrational beliefs of the client (which have an impact on emotions and behavior) to be rational. The research method used is the studi of literature or study literature related to the discussion of the use of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to overcome negative self image in adolescent. Based on the result study or literature review that has been done that with a Rational approach Emotive Behavior Therapy can improve and changes attitudes, perceptions, ways of thinking irrational beliefs and views of the council to be rational so that the council can develop yourself optimally. Self image negatif timbul dari dalam diri konseli yang bermula dari keyakinan dan pola pikir negatif dari konseli terhadap dirinya sendiri. Seseorang dengan Self image yang negatif cenderung menjadi pribadi yang pesimis, merasa hidupnya tidak bahagia, merasa dirinya tidak berharga, tidak berani menghadapi tantangan baru, tidak tahan dengan kritikan, merasa tidak percaya diri, rendah diri, tidak dapat menerima kelebihan dan kekurangan nya. Dimana, Perasaaan-perasaan tersebut berasal dari pemikiran yang irasional/negatif, kemudian ia yakini didalam hatinya lalu terwujudlah tingkah laku yang negatif. Tujuan dari penggunaan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy adalah untuk mengubah keyakinan irasional yang dimiliki konseli (yang memberikan dampak pada emosi dan perilaku) menjadi rasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literature atau kajian pustaka yang terkait dengan pembahasan mengenai penggunaan Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Theraphy (REBT) untuk mengatasi self image negatif pada remaja. Berdasarkan hasil studi atau kajian pustaka yang telah dilakukan bahwasanya dengan melalui pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Theraphy dapat memperbaiki dan mengubah sikap, persepsi, cara berfikir keyakinan serta pandangan konseli yang irasional menjadi rasional sehingga konseli dapat mengembangkan diri dengan optimal. Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period to build student identity and develop a self-assessment mindset. Adolescent developmental tasks require significant changes in attitudes and behavior patterns. Due to the developmental tasks of adolescence describing the extent of changes that must be made and the problems that arise from the changes themselves, adolescence is often a difficult problem to solve. Lack of confidence in social interaction is one of the obstacles in changing attitudes and behavior. As a result, students who lack confidence in the social environment often do not have friends, are alone, and have difficulty adjusting to their environment. Students who lack self-confidence have more difficulty growing and developing in the activities they participate in at home, at school, and in the community. This writing uses a literature review and literature study by exploring various literature related to self-confidence in social interaction and group counseling approaches to rational emotive behavior therapy. Group counseling utilizes the dynamics of group members in the service process. The stages in the REBT counseling approach are using the ABC theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes and motivation through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The data used in this study are test and non-test results, where the test instruments in this study are pretest, posttest, and multiple choice questions to measure student learning outcomes. the results obtained by the average value of students in the first cycle is equal to 68.89. In cycle II there was an increase, namely, the average student score was 81.19, then in cycle III the average student daily test score increased by 90.23, or as many as 95% of students were declared complete. With the application of Problem Based Learning which is part of an innovative learning model, the role of the teacher as an educator must be able to arouse student learning interest, learning motivation, and student participation in the learning process so that student achievement will increase compared to before which still applies conventional lecture methods.
