Curricula: Journal of Curriculum Development p-ISSN 2964-7339 e-ISSN 2830-7917 is an open access and peer-reviewed journal published by Curriculum Development Study Program, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in collaboration with Himpunan Pengembang Kurikulum Indonesia (HIPKIN). The journal includes particular interests in issues related to curriculum development, including curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and learning development (resources, models, media, and assessment). Curricula: Journal of Curriculum Development aims to publish research conducted by teachers, lecturers, and others focusing on research at the levels of Early Childhood, Elementary, Junior High, or Senior High Schools, as well as Higher-Education. This journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Curricula: Journal of Curriculum Development can accept articles in Indonesian or English.

Abstract

The lesson plan or Rencana Pelakssanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serves as a crucial guideline for educators at SMAN 1 Lembang, especially in teaching the subject of entrepreneurship. The continuity of this learning process is essential, considering the rapid dynamics in the business and economic world, requiring students to be skilled in facing future challenges. This research aims to evaluate the school's effectiveness, design, implementation, and evaluation of the Entrepreneurship RPP. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Researchers collected data from the internet and sources, namely teachers or teaching staff at SMAN 1 Lembang. The research findings indicate that the effectiveness of learning is closely related to well-planned and implemented RPP, supported by teaching methods suitable for the components of the subject matter. A well-structured RPP serves as a practical guide to achieving learning objectives. Teachers must be selective in choosing teaching methods that align with the needs and content. This research emphasizes the importance of RPP as a supporting tool in directing structured and effective learning at SMAN 1 Lembang, contributing to enhancing educational quality in the school.

Abstract

This article explores the development of marketing fundamentals materials at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 1 Bandung in response to digital technology disruption. This disruption has fundamentally changed the business landscape and requires education at SMKN 1 Bandung to adapt so that students can face this challenge competently. The research method used is the descriptive Research Method. The article also discusses the various challenges faced by SMKN 1 Bandung in integrating digital marketing concepts into their curriculum and how interviews can be an effective tool in identifying suitable solutions. In this context, the article discusses strategies such as faculty training, curriculum updates, and utilization of digital technology in learning. The results of this study offer a profound understanding of the impact of digital technology disruption on marketing education at SMKN 1 Bandung. The key findings revealed through interview-based approaches provide valuable insights that other schools can apply. This research not only assists SMKN 1 Bandung in addressing the challenges of technological disruption but also provides a framework that other educational institutions can adopt.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the importance of understanding teachers' perceptions of business teaching materials to enhance the quality of education. This article seeks to explore the analysis of teachers' needs and perceptions regarding business teaching materials, identify factors influencing their views, and evaluate their impact on the effectiveness of teaching and learning. The research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques involving interviews and observations. The study results indicate that teachers' perceptions of business teaching materials are influenced by factors such as relevance, practicality, and the attractiveness of the materials. Furthermore, curriculum adjustments and teaching approaches can be implemented to meet the actual needs better, creating a dynamic and relevant learning environment for students. Therefore, this article significantly improves the quality of education at SMA Labschool UPI.

Abstract

The aging process has significant impacts, including physical changes such as decreased vision and hearing, limited movement, and specific health problems in the elderly. Although aging generally brings physical limitations, it encourages high enthusiasm among elderly learners to participate in training programs. So, this research aims to determine the training program services for the elderly. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing with patterns of data analysis findings. This research involved four informants and one program manager. The results of this study reveal that the program manager provides social support, such as (emotional support, tangible support, informational support, and companionship support) and non-social support through learning software and hardware devices. This contributes to the elderly training program services and the effectiveness, attractiveness, and success of the elderly training program.

Abstract

This study reviews the application of project-based learning methods in PKWU subjects of SMA Labshool UPI. The subject of Entrepreneurship Education (PKWU) has an important role in preparing students for the world of work and entrepreneurship. In this context, the purpose of the study is to identify the potential and effectiveness of project-based learning methods in improving students' understanding and skills in PPKWU subjects at the senior secondary level. This research also aims to design, implement, and evaluate the implementation of project-based learning methods that can integrate theory with practice in the classroom. This study used qualitative research methods using interview instruments to explore student experiences in the application of Project Based Learning Methods in PKWU subjects at SMA Labschool UPI. The results of this study show that the application of project-based methods in learning Crafts and Entrepreneurship subjects has a positive and significant impact on student development. One key aspect that stands out is the increased involvement of students in learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the utilization of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in SMA ICB Cinta Niaga to enhance students' business skills. PBL emphasizes applying knowledge in real-life situations, starting from concrete problems or projects. The method effectively boosts students' motivation by actively engaging them in learning. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with interviews as the primary data collection method. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of PBL in improving students' skills. Interviews with teachers and students at SMK ICB Cinta Niaga reveal the positive impact of PBL. Teachers acknowledge its role in developing business skills, while students experience significant benefits in honing their abilities. PBL creates a collaborative learning environment with challenges that encourage students to be active and responsive to problems. The study concludes that PBL at SMK ICB Cinta Niaga positively contributes to developing students' business skills. The method not only enhances learning motivation but also sharpens students' social skills in problem-solving. These conclusions are drawn from teacher experiences and student perceptions, portraying PBL as an effective and beneficial learning method for developing business skills in this educational context.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is characterized by an innovative approach in the educational context that provides teachers and students with greater freedom to develop and manage learning processes that aim to increase students' creativity, initiative, and responsibility in facing dynamic changes in science. This article encourages further discussion and a deeper understanding of the curriculum to create a more effective and appropriate learning environment for students. This article also discusses the concept of freedom of learning and its relationship to thinking and innovation. The research method used is a literature study to collect and analyze information from previous studies. The findings and discussion relate to the determination of the 2020 independent curriculum, its differences from the previous curriculum, and its impact on teaching staff and students. One important outcome of the self-paced curriculum is the emphasis on developing cultural agility as an important skill for future professionals.

Abstract

This article discusses the innovative application of diagnostic learning evaluation methods in SMK Pasundan 4 Bandung to uncover students' potential. This article outlines an approach focusing on utilizing technology, data analysis, and student engagement in the evaluation process. This research explores diagnostic methods to provide an overview of student understanding and explore students' creative skills and potential that have not yet been revealed. Data presentation uses a qualitative approach, employing the interactive analysis model, which involves several stages, including data selection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Additionally, we employ observation instruments, interviews, and documentary studies. This research shows that diagnostic learning evaluation with a creative approach can transform the learning paradigm at SMK Pasundan 4 Bandung. SMK Pasundan 4 Bandung can produce graduates ready to face the ever-changing business world by involving students in the evaluation process and harnessing modern technology.

Abstract

This article explores the implementation of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) as a summative assessment method at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung, aiming for success and sustained benefits in the Indonesian education system. CBT includes diverse question formats, from multiple-choice to interactive simulations. The research objectives are: (1) describing CBT planning as a learning evaluation, (2) explaining CBT execution to enhance students' honesty in final exams at SMKN 2 Bandung, and (3) analyzing CBT results as a learning evaluation of students' honesty. This study delves into dimensions, context, and meanings related to the research subject using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method through interviews and surveys. Descriptive methods outline emerging characteristics and behaviors in the research context. This research enriches understanding of Information and Communication Technology's (ICT) role in educational transformation and proposes effective learning evaluation measures leveraging technology. The integration of CBT reflects a progressive step toward advancing education assessment methodologies.

Abstract

In this digital era, education is experiencing rapid growth, especially in the diversity of evaluations given to students, one of which is through gamification. This article explores optimizing learning evaluation through gamification in the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model in marketing education at SMKN 1 Bandung. The method used is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection is done through questionnaires and interviews. The data sources and subjects in this study are educators in the marketing subject at SMKN 1 Bandung and students majoring in Online Business and Marketing at SMKN 1 Bandung, with the object being the evaluation of marketing learning with the implementation of gamification in the CIPP model. The results of this study indicate that the learning evaluation process with gamification is well-received by students at SMKN 1 Bandung. Applying gamification in learning evaluation using the CIPP model enhances students' learning outcomes and creates a responsive, adaptive, and collaborative learning environment.
