Abstract

The inflation rate is the most powerful macroeconomic variable and is recognized by economic actors, because it can have a negative influence on the structure of production costs and welfare levels. Interest rates are a significant variable in a country's trade because interest rates influence trade as usual. Debt To Equity Ratio is also known as a ratio that looks at a company's debt, which is obtained from total debt divided into total assets. The lower the better because it is safe for creditors during liquidation. Share price is the capital market price and is one of the indicators that must always be monitored in the company. This research aims to analyze and estimate the influence of ROA, inflation rate, interest rate and DER on share prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2018-2022. The population consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022, namely 214 companies with a total sample of 63 companies using purposive sampling. The research design used was quantitative by collecting secondary data. The data analysis technique is in the form of multiple linear regression analysis using IMB SPSS 25. The results of the research using the t test found that ROA, inflation and DER partially have a positive effect on stock prices, interest rates have no and significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously Return On Assets, Inflation Rate, Interest Rates and Debt To Equity Ratio have a significant effect on share prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2018-2022. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide information as a basis for consideration, support and contribution of thought to future researchers in order to improve opinions in conducting research.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important thing to pay attention to because in human hands company goals can be achieved well, human resources play an active role in every company activity, basically humans are planners, actors and help realize organizational goals that have been planned and set by having good performance quality.This study aims to examine how much influence the work environment and leadership style have on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable at the Solok Regency Regent's Office. Data collection methods through surveys and circulating questionnaires, with a sample of 40 respondents. The analysis method used is path analysis using smartpls. The results of the research obtained The work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. Leadership style has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. Work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that agency management can improve employee performance by paying more attention to and improving the work environment, leadership style, and work discipline at the Solok Regency Regent's Office through each indicator.

Abstract

The Secretariat General of the Ministry of Home Affairs is a public sector organization whose main vision is to be the main driver of good governance in realizing the vision of the Ministry of Home Affairs. This vision is used as a guideline in preparing strategic planning which will later become a performance indicator for the Secretariat General. The performance of an organization is described as the result of a process carried out by the individuals within it based on predetermined plans. Therefore, it is necessary to measure organizational performance to find out whether the organization has achieved its goals or not. The Balanced Scorecard method can measure performance using a financial perspective and a non-financial perspective. The aim of this research is to determine the performance of the Secretariat General using the balanced scorecard method. The research design uses a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation studies with the data used being primary data and secondary data. The research results show that based on the financial perspective, customer perspective, and growth and learning perspective, the performance of the Secretariat General is very good. As for the internal business process perspective, the performance of the Secretariat General is good. These findings indicate that although the Secretariat General has achieved excellent results in most areas, there is still room for improvement in internal business processes to achieve operational excellence.

Abstract

Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a technology that operates in digital payments provides a role for society, especially for generation Z which is called digital natives. As many as 68% of digital payment users are the younger generation. Therefore, researchers want to know the preferences and barriers of generation Z in using QRIS. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach, because the aim is to determine the phenomenon regarding the use of QRIS in generation Z. This research was conducted using an interview method with 10 Sociology students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis technique, where data analysis will continue to be carried out until it reaches saturation point. As a result, students' main preferences in using QRIS as a transaction tool are based on efficiency, convenience, speed, accuracy, as well as attractive promos. There are also obstacles in using QRIS as a transaction tool, namely inadequate network factors and unsupported devices which make the payment process take a long time, and many business actors still have not implemented the QRIS payment system. These results can be used by QRIS service providers and merchants to focus more on improving convenience and promotional aspects in their marketing strategies.

Abstract

Consumer loyalty is customer loyalty to a product or service, which is influenced by service quality and trust. Good service quality and high trust increase customer satisfaction. This satisfaction then becomes an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between service quality, trust and consumer loyalty. This research aims to find out what influence Service Quality, Trust has on Consumer Loyalty and Customer Satisfaction as an Inteirveining Variable for Consumers at Caffei Kubik Koffiei Padang. The data collection method was through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, with a sample of 100 respondents. The data analysis methods used are external model analysis, good quality of fit, descriptive analysis, and structural model testing using SmartPLS 3. The results of this research indicate that service quality has a positive and insignificant influence on customer satisfaction. Trust has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction. Service quality has a positive and significant influence on consumer loyalty. Trust has a negative and insignificant influence on consumer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on consumer loyalty. Service quality cannot mediate customer satisfaction and consumer loyalty. Trust is able to mediate customer satisfaction regarding consumer loyalty to Caffei Kubik Koffiei Padang. This research provides insight for the management of Caffei Kubik Koffiei Padang regarding the importance of increasing customer trust and satisfaction to build consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Investment decisions are needed to help novice investors in choosing investments that will be selected correctly and well. This research aims to provide empirical evidence about the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, income and investment motivation on investment decisions. The type of research used is quantitative. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression assisted by the SPSS version 26 application. The population in this research are students majoring in Accounting at STIE Balikpapan for the period 2020 - 2022. The sampling technique used in this research is by using a purposive sampling method with a total sample of 58 students. The results of this research show that financial literacy, financial behavior and income each partially have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Partial investment motivation has no negative and insignificant effect on investment decisions. The research results also show that financial literacy, financial behavior, income and investment motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on investment decisions. If financial literacy, financial behavior, income and investment motivation increase, then investment decisions will also increase, vice versa too.

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of the work environment and communication on employee performance through teamwork by using primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 33 employees as respondents, namely at JNE Main Branch Office, Nipah. In this study, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tool was used using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the work environment had a positive and insignificant effect on teamwork. Communication has a positive and significant effect on teamwork. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Communication has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Teamwork has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at JNE Nipah Main Branch Office. The work environment through teamwork has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Communication through teamwork has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at JNE Main Branch Office, Nipah. The R-Square value for the teamwork variable was 0.534, which means that 53.4% of the teamwork variables were influenced by the variables of the work environment and communication, while the remaining 46.6% were influenced by other variables outside of this study. Then the R-Square value for the employee performance variable was 0.426, meaning that 42.6% of the employee performance variables were influenced by the variables of the work environment, communication, and teamwork, while the remaining 57.4% was explained by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

The era of globalization, business competition is very sharp, both in the domestic and foreign markets. Market segmentation (segmenting) and target market determination (targeting) influence the sales volume of a product or service. The main focus of this research is to examine the role of consumer purchase intention as an intervening variable, which acts as a mediator between marketing strategies and sales outcomes. By understanding and implementing appropriate segmentation and targeting strategies, companies can enhance consumers' purchase intentions, which ultimately leads to a positive impact on increasing sales volume. This research aims to test how big the influence of segmenting and targeting is on sales volume through purchase interest as an intervening variable at the classy cafe Rimbo Bujang. The data collection method is through surveys and distributing questionnaires, with a sample of 96 respondents. The analytical method used is structural equation modeling using smartpls. The research results showed that there was a significant influence of segmenting on buying interest. There is a significant influence of targeting on buying interest. There is a significant influence of segmenting on sales volume. There is an insignificant effect of targeting on sales volume. There is a significant influence of buying interest on sales volume. There is a significant influence of segmenting on sales volume through purchasing interest. There is a significant influence of targeting on sales volume through purchasing interest. The R-Square value for the purchase intention variable is 78.2%, indicating that the remaining 21.8% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Liquidity and profitability are two important aspects in assessing a company’s financial performance. Liquidity reflects the company's ability to meet its short-term obligations, while profitability indicates the company’s efficiency in generating profit. Investors tend to consider both factors before making investment decisions. A good level of liquidity and profitability can enhance investor confidence, which positively affects stock demand and ultimately influences stock price movements in the market. This is particularly relevant in the textile and garment manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2022 period. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between these variables and stock prices, especially in facing economic challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The population used includes all textile and garment sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX from 2019 to 2022. The research method uses a quantitative approach, with samples selected using purposive sampling. From a total of 22 companies, only 10 were selected. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistics tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing, with the assistance of SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of hypothesis testing on stock prices indicate that liquidity and profitability variables do not have a significant effect on stock prices. The R-square value is 0.67, indicating that 67% of the variables in this study affect stock prices, while the remaining 33% are influenced by other variables outside this research. The contribution of this research indicates that investors do not need to consider liquidity and profitability when investing, particularly in the textile and garment industry sector.

Abstract

Demand for jumbo iced tea drinks at the Bunderan Jombang night market shows unique dynamics that cannot be fully explained by conventional demand laws. In addition to price, factors such as promotions, flavor innovation, social trends, and the influence of digital media play an important role in consumer purchasing decisions. This phenomenon is interesting to study because it reflects how consumer behavior in traditional markets is influenced by economic, social, and psychological aspects simultaneously. This study aims to analyze the application of the law of demand in the context of night markets and uncover the non-price factors that influence the demand for jumbo iced tea. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, this study collected data through direct observation, in-depth interviews with traders and consumers, and documentation of market activities. Data analysis was conducted by highlighting consumers' experiences and perceptions regarding the factors that drive their purchasing decisions. The results show that quantity-based promotions, such as “buy one get one free,” are more effective in increasing demand compared to direct price reductions. This strategy increased sales by 40%, while price discounts only resulted in a 12% increase in demand. In addition, flavor innovation, strategic location, and virality on social media play an important role in attracting consumers. Seasonal factors also come into play, with a spike in demand in the summer and a decline during the rainy season. This research confirms that the law of demand remains relevant but needs to be understood in a broader context, including social and psychological aspects. The findings provide insights for businesses in designing more innovative marketing strategies as well as for academics in understanding the complexities of consumer behavior in traditional markets.
