Abstract

This study aims to find out whether or not there is a difference between before and after mergers and acquisitions in the profitability of companies that carried out mergers and acquisitions in 2018 which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study were companies that carried out mergers and acquisitions in 2018 with a total of 74 companies taking samples using the purposive sampling method and 8 companies were selected as samples in the study. The sample which consists of 8 companies are companies that carried out mergers and acquisitions in 2018 which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this study is to use a paired sample t test with the calculation of profitability using the ratio of ROE and NPM. The paired sample t test is a testing technique to be able to find out about the difference between before and after being given treatment on a variable. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in the profitability of companies listed on the IDX that carried out mergers and acquisitions in 2018. This is shown by using the paired sample t test to obtain an ROE ratio value with a tcount of 1,617 with a significance of 0.127, from the results it can be seen that the significance value is greater than 0.05. Meanwhile, if seen using the NPM ratio value, the t-count value is -0.555 with a significance of 0.587, from these results it can also be seen that the significance value is greater than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in company profitability as measured by the ROE ratio and NPM ratio for companies that carried out mergers and acquisitions in 2018 which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Abstract

This study aims to determine Trust mediation in influencing Social Media Marketing on consumer purchase intentions (study on Muna Beauty Store consumers). The method used in this research is purposive sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample by considering certain criteria with a total sample of 96 respondents. With multiple linear regression and analysis method. The results of this study indicate that 1) Social Media Marketing has a positive and significant direct effect on Trust at Muna Beauty Store. 2) Social Media Marketing has a direct significant positive effect on Consumer Purchase Intentions at Muna Beauty Store. 3) Trust has a significant positive direct effect on the Purchase Intention of Muna Beauty Store Consumers. 4) Social Media Marketing indirectly has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Purchase Intentions through Trust.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of financial knowledge, financial attitudes and lifestyle on financial management among unmarried workers in Bojonegoro Regency. The selected population is all unmarried workers in Bojonegoro Regency. Samples are selected using the purposive sampling method and 96 respondents were selected. The type of study is quantitative. The data used in the study was obtained by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis techniques consist of descriptive statistics, testing research instrument requirements, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 26 tools. The result of this study show that (1) Knowledge variables and lifestyle variables partially has an effect on financial management among unmarried workers in Bojonegoro Regency (2) The financial attitude variable partially has no effect on financial management among unmarried workers in Bojonegoro Regency (3) The variables of financial knowledge, financial attitude and lifestyle simultaneously have an effect on financial management

Abstract

This study aims to find out and compare the trading volume activity, abnormal return  and frequency of trading shares of energy companies before and after the announcement of the ban on export coal  for Domestic Market Obligation in Indonesia.The population in this study are companies that are included in the Energy Sector listed at IDX. The samples in this study used purposive sampling, where only 17 companies met the criteria. In this  study, the data used is 14 days before and after the announcement of the ban on export coal  for Domestic Market Obligation in Indonesia. The hypothesis test used is Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The result showed that: 1) there is a significant  differences in the trading volume and frequency trading share of sample  companies before and after the ban on export for Domestic Market Obligation, 2) there is no significant difference in the abnormal return of sample companies before and after the ban on export for Domestic Market Obligation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSiti Isti'anah, 2023, The Effect of Work Conflict and Work Stress on Employees Performance At the Cengkir Gading Nganjuk Cigarettes Factory. Guided by Dr. Muhammad Alkirom Wildan, S.E., M.Si.Human resource management has to manage the human resource properly in order to get high quality human resources were needed like as every company needs human resources who perform well to achieve the goals. The purposes were to determine the effect of work conflict and work stress on the employees performance of Cengkir Gading Cigarette Factory, partially and simultaneusly.This study used the associative research using a quantitative approach. Data was collected by the questionnaires from the100 employees as respondents. It used validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test. Using this analysis, the results showed that 1) the work conflict has a negative and significant effect on employees performance is -0.257, tcount ttable (3.410 1.985), and the significant level is 0.001 0.05. 2) the work stress has a negative and significant effect on employees performance is -0.206, the tcount ttable (2.317 1.985), and the significant level is 0.023 0.05. Then 3) the work conflict and work stress simultaneously have a significant effect on employees performance that Fcount Ftable (8.793 3.94), and the significant level is 0.000 0.05.Keywords: Work Conflict, Work Stress, Employees Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Working Capital, Liquidity, Leverage, and Sales Volume both partially and simultaneously on Profitability in Pharmaceutical Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) exchange for the 2016-2021 period. Samples were determined using purposive sampling techniques, with the specified criteria, the number of samples thus obtained are as many as 10 companies. The analytical method used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis to test the requirements, namely the classical assumption test through SPSS version 26.0. The Results show that (1) working capital has a positive and no significant effect on profitability; (2) liquidity has a positive and no significant effect on profitability. (3) leverage (DAR) has a negative and significant effect on profitability; (4) Leverage (DER) has a positive and no significant effect on profitability; (5) sales volume has a negative and no significant effect on profitability; (6) The variables of working capital, liquidity, leverage, and sales volume together or simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

 Based on existing phenomena and problems, this study aims to determine the effect of online promotions and price perceptions on purchasing decisions at Thrift Gallery Kemuning Bangkalan. The method used in this research is quantitative. The subjects in this study were consumers of Thrift Galery Kemuning Bangkalan with a sample of 97 respondents, then the data collection tool in this study was a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between online promotions and price perceptions on purchasing decisions at Thrift Gallery Kemuning Bangkalan, either partially or simultaneously. The result of the coefficient of determination is 0.958, which means that 95.8% of the Buying Decisions are influenced by Online Promotion (X1) and Price Evaluation (X2). While the remaining 4.2% is the influence of other variables outside the variables studied in this research.

Abstract

This research discusses problems with Somehinc products. The purpose of this research is to explain the influence of Celebrity Endorsers on purchasing decisions for Somethinc Products, to explain the influence of Celebrity Endorsers on the Brand Image of Somethinc Products, to explain the influence of Brand Image on Purchase Decisions for Somethinc Products, to determine the influence of Celebrity Endorsers on purchasing decisions for Somethinc Products through Brand Image Somethinc Products. This research uses a quantitative approach using the path analysis method, with a total of 123 respondents. The results of this research are (1) Celebrity Endorser has a significant influence on purchasing decisions (2) Celebrity Endorser has a significant influence on Brand Image (3) Brand Image has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions (4) Celebrity Endorsers have a significant influence on purchasing decisions through Brand Image.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and brand trust on brand loyalty. The independent variables in this study are brand image and brand trust. While the dependent variable in this study is brand loyalty. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling method with a total of 100 respondents from management students of Trunojoyo University Madura who used Telkomsel data packages. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS version 29.The results of this study indicate that: 1) Brand image variables partially affect Telkomsel brand loyalty. 2) Brand trust variables partially affect Telkomsel brand loyalty. 3) Brand image variables and brand trust simultaneously affect Telkomsel brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of content marketing and discounts on consumer decisions through consumer trust as a mediating variable for students who use Aerostreet shoes in the East Java region. Using a type of quantitative research with the aim of knowing whether content marketing and discounts affect purchasing decisions through consumer trust as a mediating variable. The respondents in this study were students who use Aerostreet shoes in the East Java region, totaling 97 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires through the Google form online and then the questionnaires were processed using the help of a Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis measuring tool. In proving and analyzing this, valid and reliable questionnaires were tested (Outer Model) and structural model testing was carried out in the hypothesis testing section (Inner Mode I). Based on the results of this study (1) Content Marketing has no significant effect on purchasing decisions (2) Content Marketing has a significant effect on consumer confidence (3) Discounts have a significant effect on purchasing decisions (4) Discounts have a significant effect on consumer confidence ( 5) Consumer trust has a significant effect on purchasing decisions (6) Content Marketing through consumer trust has a significant effect on purchasing decisions (7) Discounts through consumer trust have a significant effect on purchasing decisions
