Abstract

This research examines fashion from Islamic and Christian views. The methodology used in this research is qualitative with a library research research design. And the data sources obtained from this research are primary and secondary data sources that are in accordance with the discussion. Then this research uses a phenomenological approach method, where the phenomenological approach method is an approach that attempts to capture various problems that exist in society. Meanwhile, the theoretical approach is a comparative-descriptive theory. This research aims to explore how religion regulates its people in fashion, especially clothing, and also to find out whether there are similarities and differences in clothing in Islam and Christianity. Based on this research, the results showed that dressing in Islam and Christianity requires women to dress to cover their bodies and requires women to wear clothing appropriate for women. In Islam, there is more emphasis on dressing to cover the private parts, the clothes worn are thick and loose, not tasyabbuh, not required to wear fragrance/perfume, not glamorous clothes and not as jewelry. And the essence of clothing for Muslim women is to cover their private parts, not for the purpose of showing off and arrogance which will have a bad impact on themselves. Christianity emphasizes on its followers to dress appropriately and fulfill the requirements stated in the Bible.

Abstract

The background in this article is the application of traditional and modern Islamic boarding school learning methods. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the differences between modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools, explain the various learning methods in modern Islamic boarding schools and explain the advantages of the methods applied in both Islamic boarding schools. This article uses the library research method so that in this article the researcher takes data from literature related to this research. The data in this article is presented descriptively, namely a presentation in the form of writing that has been studied in depth. The results of this research explain the application of learning methods carried out in modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools. There is a need to develop learning models in Islamic boarding schools, namely by using better learning methods, namely using more effective methods in class, planning and implementing activities in such a way continuously and also through group work.

Abstract

This research discusses the meaning of Kafur and Zanjabil in Surah Al-Insan Verses 5 and 17 (Analysis of the Interpretation of Al-Qurthubi and Al-Miṣbāh). The problem that is the focus of this thesis research is how to interpret the meaning of kafur and zanjabil and how to analyze the interpretation of kafur and zanjabil in surah al-Insan verses 5 and 17 according to the interpretation of Al Misbah and Al Qurthubi. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to find out the meaning of kafur and zanjabil and to understand the analysis of the interpretation of kafur and zanjabil in Surah Al-Insan verses 5 and 17 according to Al-Qurthubi and Al-Miṣbāh. The research is a type of library research, which uses data collection methods to browse and examine library materials, especially Tafsir Al-Miṣbāh and Al-Qurthubi as primary data, and relevant literature. The name ginger is only mentioned once in the Qur'an, namely in surah al-Insan verse 17, In heaven they are given a glass of drink (drink) mixed with ginger (zanjabil). Zanjabil is another name for ginger in Arabic. Therefore, in the Qur'an, Allah states that ginger is one of the ingredients that will be used as a drink mixture for the inhabitants of heaven, as a reward for all the good things they did while in this worldly life. Drinks from heaven and their categories are found in the verses of the Qur'an, namely drinks that are clear in color and smell delicious and taste delicious, called kafur drinks, found in surah al-Insan verse 5. There are so many pleasures in heaven, one of which is drink heaven, there are other unexpected pleasures that will be offered to devout human beings who will become residents of heaven.

Abstract

In Islamic teachings regarding the relationship between jewelry and private parts, it has a big influence on women. Even the things that are attached to a woman, which are usually visible or invisible, are jewelry and it is an obligation to look after them, because if they are intentionally shown to someone who is not a mahram, it is tantamount to exposing one's private parts. Through Q.S an-Nur verse 31, the correlation between women, jewelry and private parts will be explained as well as the analysis of the views of Indonesian mufassir. This research uses a qualitative method, namely a method that focuses on data obtained by researchers from previous researchers. This research is also classified as a library research method. To further focus this research study, the author will further specify the interpretation of Indonesian commentators, namely Buya Hamka, Hasbi Ash-Shiddiqiey, and M. Quraish Shihab regarding the correlation between women, jewelry, and private parts in the Koran surah an-Nur verse 31 in the tafsir al-Azhar, an-Nur, and al-Misbah. This tafsir also uses the tahlili method with a bi al-ra'yi (reasoning/ijtihad) approach. In Q.S an-Nur verse 31, according to Buya Hamka, Hasbi Ash-Shiddiqiey, and M. Quraish Shihab, it is forbidden for a woman to show her private parts which are her jewelry. Don't show off the beauty of your body curves and protect your private parts from those who are not your mahram. Apart from that, because in general women's jewelry is only visible, such as decoration on their hands, face and feet, here the author feels it is necessary to discuss further about women's jewelry which is also their private parts, both visible and invisible.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the many complaints from people memorizing the Qur'an. They find it difficult to memorize and carry it out. There is a method called the Takrir method for memorizing the Qur'an, as an effort to improve and maintain memorization so that it remains embedded in the heart. Based on the background above, the problem formulation can be taken, what is the process of implementing the Takrir method in memorizing the Al-Qur'an and what results are achieved in implementing this method in memorizing the Al-Qur'an and what is the evaluation practice. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. To collect data using interview, observation and documentation methods. In analyzing the data the author uses stages: reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The research results show: First, the process of implementing the Takrir method in memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfidhz Darul Fithrah Tawangsari cottage is going well, this is based on the reality of implementing memorizing the Qur'an using the Takrir method. However, it is still not perfect, as can be seen from the several problems it faces. Second, the results that have been achieved from the Takrir method are good and successful, the indication is that Tahfidz students can memorize half a Juz of the Qur'an per month, this has met the target. As for the evaluation of the implementation of the Takrir method, deliberations will be carried out every 3 months according to the need to find out the ma'had targets that have been formulated.

Abstract

In terms of Ahlul Bait, it is forbidden to receive zakat and alms because of their kinship with the Prophet, namely the descendants of the Prophet, his wives, and all Muslims and Muslim women from the descendants of 'Abdul Muththalib, namely the Bani Hayim. Therefore, the Ahlul bait includes the family of Ali bin Abi Talib, the family of Ja'far bin Abi Talib, the family of 'Aqil bin Abi Talib, and the family of 'Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib. They were all from Bani Hashim. This study is qualitative research and the method used is the library method (Library Research). Research that collects data from written works, in the form of books, tafsir books, and literature related to the meaning of Ahlul Bait in the Koran. In its development, the descendants of the Prophet in Arab society were known as a group that called itself the "sayyid group". The word sayyid comes from Arabic which means "master" or "lord". The Sayid group are those who claim to be descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. through his daughter Fatimah az-Zahra. The Sayid group are descendants of Husein bin Ali bin Abi Talib, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. the male is called sayid and the female is called sayidah. As for the descendants of the grandchildren of the Prophet SAW. another, from Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, is called syarif for men and syarifah for women which means "noble one".

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the communication patterns of the mujahideen assembly in broadcasting Islamic law in the city of Medan and to determine the obstacles and supporting factors for the mujahideen assembly in broadcasting Islamic law in the city of Medan. The method in this research is to use a qualitative method where the researcher goes directly to the field and interviews the sources or informants of this research face to face. The results of this research are the communication patterns used by supervisors in enforcing student discipline at the Daar Al-Uluum Kisaran Modern Islamic Boarding School, Kisaran, Asahan Regency, namely Interpersonal Communication Patterns and Group Communication Patterns. The factor that is an obstacle to carrying out the dhuha prayer discipline is the lack of self-confidence of the students towards their caregivers at the Daar Al-Uluum Modern Islamic Boarding School which results in the caregivers/guides not knowing the problems experienced by the students. The closed nature of a santri makes it difficult for caregivers/coaches to know what problems the santri are experiencing. There is still a lack of creating a harmonious relationship between all elements of caregivers at the Daar Al-Modern Islamic Boarding School and the Santri. This less than harmonious relationship occurs because the students who have just entered still don't know the students and their caregivers/guides as a whole and there is still a sense of embarrassment (awkwardness) among the students, especially the students who have just entered, when dealing directly with the caregivers/guides at the Daar Al Modern Islamic Boarding School. -Uluum Kisaran, Asahan Regency.

Abstract

This research was motivated by wanting to know information about the implementation of schools integrating Al-Quran education and Minangkabau Natural Culture at SMA Negeri 9 Padang. The aim of this research is to determine the planning, implementation, results and obstacles to the integration of Al-Quran Education and Minangkabau Natural Culture in PAI subjects at SMA Negeri 9 Padang. The type of research used is field research using descriptive methods and data collection techniques based on observation, interviews and documentation. The data processing technique is carried out by creating an interview instrument in the form of questions asked to the informant. Data sources are school principals, PAI teachers and students of SMA Negeri 9 Padang. The results of the research are that the integration of Al-Quran Education and Minangkabau Natural Culture in PAI subjects at SMA Negeri 9 Padang is carried out starting with planning which is carried out in 2 forms, firstly, intra-curricular, which is linking Al-Quran verses and Minangkabau cultural values into learning materials, secondly, extra-curricular, namely programs rohis, Minang corners, Minang clothing, and end of school year programs. Meanwhile, the implementation is held at school, both inside and outside the classroom. The results of implementing this integration are well implemented and can increase students' knowledge regarding the values of the Alquran and Minangkabau cultural values. The obstacles are lack of time and lack of books for students to use, teachers' lack of knowledge in mastering Minangkabau philosophy.

Abstract

The fact of the decline of the Muslim world in terms of intellectual level has been discussed in many places. The response to these challenges is very diverse. One response that is considered relevant is to bring back the spirit of the Qur'an to revive the tradition of knowledge. This research aims to explore the concept and ethos of knowledge in the book Encyclopaedia Al-Qur'an by Dawan Rahardjo. This type of research is library research using descriptive-analytical method. The results of this study are, in his introduction, Dawam explains the ethos of science in the Islamic world, where the concept of knowledge sourced from the Qur'an and hadith became the driving force of Islamic society in the past in creating an advanced civilisation. Regarding the interpretation of the Qur'an, Dawam raises all vocabulary that contains elements of 'knowledge' which is not limited to the word 'ilm and its various derivations, but other vocabulary such as fahhama, 'aqala, bashir, faqiha, khabara, albab, and so on in revealing the meaning of 'knowledge' in the Qur'an. On the other hand, Dawam raises one sample surah, QS. al-An'am to show that the Qur'an encourages its people to act in a rational way and has functional value. Finally, Dawam concludes that although the Qur'an contains theological aspects as a religious teaching, as a teaching of life, the Qur'an also contains practical aspects of the spirit to be knowledgeable, act rationally, and also create a scientific civilisation.

Abstract

The tahfiz al-Quran activity is an activity of memorizing the Al-Quran. Learning tahfiz al-Quran aims to introduce children to the holy book from an early age and is also an effort to familiarize children with worshiping and preserving the Al-Quran. Learning tahfiz al-Quran consists of aspects of planning, implementation of learning and assessment. This research aims to describe how tahfiz Al-Quran is taught in early childhood at RA Habibburrahman. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. This research was conducted at Raudhatul Atfhal Habibburrahman Alahan Anggang, Agam Regency. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show: 1) the planning for tahfiz Al-Quran learning in the RPPH was not made in detail; 2) Tahfiz activities are carried out every day, every Friday the children repeat and display their memorization. Tahfiz activities are carried out by memorizing repeatedly and using several movements. The tahfiz activity is also repeated in each rak'ah of the dhuha prayer and before returning home from school there are several quizzes regarding memorization; 3) Daily assessment is carried out by observing children when they memorize reading and semester assessment is carried out by testing individual children regarding memorization for one semester and reported in a report card in the form of a checklist.
