Abstract

One of the physical declines that occur in the elderly is musculoskeletal due to reducedmuscle mass. As a result of the physical decline, it was finding that the physicalproblems often experienced by the elderly on a daily basis such as the risk of falling. Therisk of falling occurs due to weakening of the muscles in the elderly. Fall prevention isone of the important things in the elderly who are at risk of falling. Fall preventionmeasures are generally more directed at preventing environmental factors that canencourage falls. Various interventions to improve balance and reduce the risk of falls inthe elderly have been developing through several studies, including foot exercises, footmassage and joint range of motion exercises. A case study to describe the results ofnursing care for the risk of falling in the elderly in Singosari Village, Ambal District. This case study uses a descriptive method. The data were obtaining from the results ofinterview observations, physical examinations, and study documentation. Subjectsconsisted of 3 elderly people with nursing problems at the risk of falling. After 5 days ofnursing care, all three patients showed a decreased risk of falling with a decreased TUGTest score. Foot massage is effective in reducing the risk of falls in the elderly.

Abstract

Background: Prenatal yoga affects the strengthening and flexibility of the perineal, vaginal, anal sphincter, and urinary tract muscles and is followed by an increase in pelvic diameter. This affects the delivery process. Routine exercise can facilitate minimal trauma labor and reduce the duration of each phase of labor. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of prenatal yoga on the type of delivery in third trimester pregnant women in the Karanglewas Community Health Center Banyumas. Research method: This type of research uses a pre-experimental design method using an intact-group comparison design, namely the measurement of the case group and control group in the same sample and not chosen randomly. The subjects of this study were pregnant women in the third trimester aged over 34 weeks with 40 respondents consisting of 20 pregnant women in the case group and 20 pregnant women in the control group. The analytical method in this study uses Chi square. The results showed that the results of the chi-square correlation analysis, obtained a probability value (p) of 0.031 with a significance level of 5% (0.05). Because the value is 0.031 < 0.05, it can be stated that prenatal yoga has a significant effect on the type of delivery in pregnant women and Odd Ratio: 7.364 (CI: 1.337-40.548). The conclusion is that prenatal yoga has an effect of 7,364 times on pregnant women to be able to give birth spontaneously vaginally compared to pregnant women who do not do prenatal yoga.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding has many benefits for babies, mothers, families, and countries. However, many failure exclusive breastfeeding still happens. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between history of exposed information about exclusive breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. The research method used descriptive correlative, and cross sectional data collection. The sampling technique used total sampling. The number of samples was 156. The data were analyzed using Chi square. The results of the analysis of the characteristics respondents, showed that the average age of the mother was 31.37 years, 72% had low education and 82.1% not employed. Analysis of the history of exposed information about exclusive breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding showed that of the 135 who were exposed to information about exclusive breastfeeding, 89.89% did not exclusively breastfeed. The p-value is 0.105, which means that there is no relationship between a history of exposed information about exclusive breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. Suggestions for health workers to continue to provide education and assistance when mothers give exclusive breastfeeding so that mothers are successful in exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Neuromusculoskeletal changes in pregnancy often cause discomfort problems as the pregnancy ages. The increased prevalence of the incidence of neuromusculoskeletal disorders during the third trimester of pregnancy, namely low back pain 63%, muscle cramps 60.2% and carpal tunnel syndrome 6.8% needs special attention by midwives. Efforts to increase knowledge and motivation in carrying out pregnancy examination services play an important role in reducing maternal mortality. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of midwives' knowledge about neuromusculoskeletal disorders in pregnant women with the motivation of midwives in overcoming neuromusculoskeletal disorders in pregnant women. This research is correlative descriptive with a cross sectional approach. Sampling techniques using cluster sampling and obtained a number of 100 midwives. The chi square test result obtained the value p value = 0.022 and the value OR = 10.213. There is a significant relationship between the midwife's knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal disorders of pregnant women and the motivation of midwives in overcoming neuromusculoskeletal disorders in pregnant women. Well-informed midwives had a high chance of overcoming neuromusculoskeletal disorders in pregnant women by 10,213 times compared to reasonably knowledgeable midwives. Midwives are expected to always increase the latest knowledge by participating in training activities or further studies and the Health Service is expected to provide support to midwives by providing facilities and infrastructure to increase the knowledge and motivation of midwives.

A total of 71 (83.5) respondents have a healthy lifestyle adherence to the obedient category, while 14 (16.5) respondents are in the non-compliant category. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to a healthy lifestyle in hypertensive patients in Brebes Regency, with p value (0.000) p <0.05 with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.601. Recommendation: For further researchers, it will consideration for researching the factors that influence self-efficacy with adherence to a healthy lifestyle in hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Poultry farming is the business of cultivating poultry such as breeding chickens, laying hens, and broilers to obtain meat and eggs. Robust regression is a regression method that is used when some outlier data affect the model so that the distribution of the error is not normal. Estimates on robust regression that can overcome outliers such as Generalized Scale (GS) estimation, GS estimation is seen as an extension of S estimation. GS estimation is a solution for minimizing M estimation with paired scale error. This estimate is applied to poultry data companies in 2020 as an indicator to determine the robust regression model. It is concluded that the factors that affect the total profit of poultry farming companies in Indonesia in 2020 are wages for workers and electricity and water.

Abstract

Regression analysis is used to determine the relationship between the dependent and independent variables with a parameter estimator. The parameter estimator that is usually used is the Least Squares Method (LSM), this requires a classical assumption test. Some cases have normality assumptions that are unfulfilled because there are outliers so the result regression parameter estimates are not accurate so that robust regression is used in the analysis. Robust regression is a regression analysis method that can withstand outliers. The purpose of this study is the application of robust regression estimation Method of Moment (MM) with Tukey Bisquare weighting in the case of data on the number of maternal deaths in Indonesia 2020 with the number of maternal deaths as a dependent variable, and with independent variables such as the number of pregnant women who experience bleeding, the number of diabetics in pregnancy, and the number of HIV positive in pregnancy. The result showed that every one unit increase of three independent variables had a positive effect on the number of cases of maternal deaths, each of which was 2,8064; 2,5014; 1,1577.
