Uncontrolled hypertension can cause serious complications such as coronary heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, vision problems and is one of the comorbid diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Compliance to hypertension manajement to control their blood pressure is very importantto avoid hypertension’s complications and death. This study aim to determine the factors related to patient compliance with hypertension management in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional approach. The sample consists of 100 respondents, data collection using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. There is a relationship between age and patient compliance with hypertension management (p=0.016). There is a relationship between knowledge and patient compliance with hypertension management (p=0.020). There is a relationship between motivation and patient compliance with hypertension management (p=0.045). There is a relationship between family support and patient compliance with hypertension management (p=0.018). There is a significant relationship between factors of age, knowledge, motivation, and family support with patient compliance with hypertension management. Factors related to patient compliance in managing their disease are very important and need to be considered and improved in an effort to maintain blood pressure stability in hypertensive patients to avoid complications and death.

Abstract

Based on Basic Health Research (2018), the percentage of washing hands in children in Indonesia reaches 49.8%, in Central Java Province it reaches 45.0%, and in Cilacap Regency it is 38.5%. The behavior of washing hands is an act of hand hygiene to prevent transmission of covid-19, based on the results of interviews conducted on students, it was found that 7 out of 10 students did not know how to wash hands properly, and 6 out of 10 students said they did not wash their hands before eating. One of the factors that can influence behavior is knowledge. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and hand washing behavior in students during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative correlation method using cross-sectional design, the sampling technique uses a total sampling with 65 respondents. The instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire and a hand washing behavior questionnaire. The results of the study showed that knowledge of hand washing was in the good category of 31 students (47.7%), 29 students (44.6%), and less than 5 students (7.7%). As for the behavior of washing hands with good category as many as 28 students (43.1%), only 21 students (32.3%), and less as many as 16 students (24.6%). The results of the analysis chi- square obtained a p-value of 0.005, which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and the behavior of washing hands. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship between knowledge and hand washing behavior in students during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is still a major public health problem. The Indonesian population is an aging population, and the number of dementia cases is increasing. A good understanding of the correlation between the risk of cardiovascular disease and dementia will increase the accuracy in the long-term prevention of dementia in the community. This study was intended to examine the correlation between cardiovascular risk and early signs of dementia. 89 elderly integrated health center participants were voluntarily involved in this study. This research is a cross-sectional design. Respondents were measured for cardiovascular risk, using the Jakarta Cardiovascular Score (SKJ) and measuring cognitive function using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). Statistical analysis using correlation and mean difference. There is a negative correlation between the Jakarta Cardiovascular Score and the MMSE score (r=-0.311; p=0.003). In the analysis of mean differences, it was found that there was a significant difference between mild, moderate, and high cardiovascular risk in cognitive decline (MMSE score) respectively, the MMSE mean [27.29; SD=3.51], [25.55; SD=5.42], and [24.82; SD=4.51]; with p-value = 0.010. There is an inverse correlation between cardiovascular risk and cognitive function, statistically significant

Abstract

Components of physical conditions namely speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, strength, coordination, balance, and agility in improving basketball player performance. one of them is the relationship between ability to balance and the risk of sports injury has been determined in many cases, but the relationship between ability and balance between athletics is less clear. There is limited data on skills training in elite athletic motor training. Training on the balance between endurance training, this finding endurance training produces superior results for high jump and run time. The importance of balance for the basketball player itself reduces injury and improves performance during matches. Determine the effect of giving low stretches and core stability on dynamic equilibrium. paired test results t sample test in the consent group obtained an average result in pair 1 namely 2.35824 with a significant value of 0.000 where p <0.05 then Ha was accepted and pair 2 was 1.67059 with a significance value of 0.005 while the value of p <0.05 then Ha can be accepted which stretches the lower extrimity and core stability needed to increase dynamic balance. Supporting the stretching of lower severity and core stability can improve the dynamic balance of the basket player.

Children with autism spectrum disorder also have limitations in motor skills, coordination, balance, movement planning and movement control, as well as errors in processing information. to stimuli through touch or tactile. In this case, the MAW patient was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder with complaints that the child likes to throw things, limitations in communicating, always repeating words, excessive emotions, and likes to walk around in circles and there are some primitive reflexes that have not been integrated. MAW patients are given physiotherapy intervention with Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration, Massage, and Physical Exercises to stimulate sensory, integrate reflexes, relax, tactile stimulation and improve motor skills. After being given the intervention 4 times, from T0-T4 the plantar reflexes were not integrated, from T0-T4 the Babynsky reflexes were not integrated, while the protective reflexes were integrated in T4. Children feel calmer receiving massage on T3 and T4. While the physical exercise intervention has not given significant results on motor improvement. There has been no significant change in children with autism spectrum disorders after giving physiotherapy intervention, which could be due to the lack of intensity and frequency of therapy.

Abstract

Introduction: Female student is part of the young women who have a risk of anemia. Anemia that usually occurs in adolescent girls is the result of a lack of Fe intake in the body. The intake of Fe into the body is influenced by various things, one of which is knowledge about anemia which can impact the consumption of food sources of Fe. Objective: This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge of anemia and intake of food sources of Fe in UMS health science students. Method: The design of this study was observational with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this research is the 3rd semester students of the health sciences faculty of UMS. The number of samples is 87 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The instruments in this study were the anemia knowledge questionnaire and the SQ-FFQ Form. Statistic test used is Rank Spearman. Result: The results showed that as many as 53 respondents (61%) had a good level of knowledge and most of the respondents had a low-level intake of Fe sources, as much 77 respondents (88.5%). The results of the Spearman Rank test showed the ? value of 0.814 (> 0.05) had no correlation between knowledge and intake of food sources of Fe in UMS health science students. Consclusion: A good level of knowledge is not sure to be able to change a person's eating habits, because a level of knowledge is not a main influenced factor of a person's eating habits but also environmental, socio-economic, cultural, occupational, and age factors.
