Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how group counseling with self-management approaches affects self-identity in students in class VIII D at SMP N 1 Kranggan. This is a quantitative research method. Experimental research is the name given to this type of study. A pre-experimental one group pretest posttest was used in this study's design. SMP N 1 Kranggan Kab. Temanggung in class VIII D hosted the implementation of this study. The participants in this study were eight eighth-grade students from SMP N 1 Kranggan who had a low sense of self-identity. Using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. A posttest was given to 8 students who had a low level of self-identity and were given group counseling treatment using the Self Management technique. The Paired Sample T-test was then used to test the results. The significance results show that 0.123 is greater than 0.05, indicating that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, indicating that group counseling with Self Management techniques has an effect on increasing students' self-identity after treatment with Self Management techniques.

Abstract

This study was about Using Directed Reading Activity (DRA) Method to Teach ReadingComprehension to the First Year Nursing Students of Universitas MuhammadiyahGombong. The problem statements of this research were (1). What is a directed readingactivity method? (2). To what extent is the DRA method able to improve the students’ability in reading comprehension? The objective of this research was to find out whetheror not the DRA method can stimulate the students’ ability in learning readingcomprehension to the first-year Nursing students of Universitas MuhammadiyahGombong. The method applied in this research was an experiment. The sample of thisresearch consisted of 40 students to the first-year students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong. The writers used purposive sampling in this research. They used a reading test that was administered in the pre-test and posttest, and used aquestionnaire as well. The result of this research showed that the first-year students ofUniversitas Muhammadiyah Gombong had an inadequate score in the pre-test. However, after doing the treatment by using the DRA method their reading comprehension got ahigh score in post-test. The data was analyzed by using a t-test and the result shows thatthe t-test value (3, 5), was greater than the t-table value (1,703). It can be concluded thatthe use of the DRA method is very effective to teach reading comprehension.

Abstract

The This study aims to analyze the acceptance and use of Open Learning by using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach to accounting students at Muhammadiyah University of Pekajangan Pekalongan who have programmed the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is classified as explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data obtained in the form of primary data obtained directly on the object of research by submitting a questionnaire through personal chat either through social media or e-mail. Then, respondents access and fill out the online questionnaire through the questionnaire link that has been provided. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Warp PLS test version 7.0.

Abstract

The millennial generation, also known as generation Y, is a demographic group after generation X. Many researchers are still debating the exact year of their birth, but most estimate that this generation was born between 1980 and 2000. This generation is now an adult, and has even colored the world. especially in the business sector. Experts believe they have great potential to turn the wheels of the world economy in the near future. This generation has the most control over technology and has the most potential to take the momentum of change in the post-covid-19 era. It was this generation's high interest in pursuing the business world that prompted this research. So this study aims to analyze the role of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the interest in entrepreneurship for the millennial generation. The object of research is focused on students in the city of Yogyakarta who are still actively studying. The sample is determined at least 15% of the population. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire via googleform. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a positive and significant effect either partially or simultaneously on the millennial generation's entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and brand trust on brand loyalty through customer satisfaction. This research was conducted on students using the branded shoes at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta by using a total sample of 115 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling. The data analysis technique used was SEM-PLS whose calculations were assisted by the SmartPLS 3.2.2 program. The evaluation analysis of the Partial Least Square (PLS) model is carried out by evaluating the outer model and evaluating the inner model. The results of data analysis show that brand image and brand trust have a positive and insignificant effect on brand loyalty. Then brand image and brand trust have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on brand loyalty. And the results of data analysis also show that customer satisfaction mediates the effect of brand image and brand trust on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Poverty is a complex problem that exists in Indonesia. Indonesia's poverty in 2016-2019 fluctuated. This study aims to determine the effect of Economic Growth, Human Development Index, and Internet Access on Poverty by using the Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV) approach. Based on the results of panel data analysis from this study, it shows that economic growth has no effect on poverty in Indonesia. Meanwhile, HDI and Internet Access have an effect on Poverty in Indonesia. The government should increase the development of regional facilities, create more adequate job opportunities, increase the provision of scholarships, supervise industries and increase public awareness about the importance of education.

Abstract

Covid-19 survivors are individuals who have been exposed to Covid-19 and managed to recover. Individuals who have been exposed to the Covid 19 virus is not an easy thing to live. Being a Covid-19 survivor does not only have an impact on their physical condition, but also on their mental health and quality of life. Resilience is the key to being able to get through the psychological suffering that has plagued Covid-19 survivors and return to normal life. This study aims to: 1) Determine the relationship between optimism and social support with resilience in covid survivors; 2) Knowing the relationship between optimism and resilience in covid survivors; and 3) Knowing the relationship between social support and resilience in covid survivors. The population of this research is active students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who have contracted the Covid-19 virus and have recovered (survivors), aged 18-25 years. Data collection tools used are resilience scale, optimism scale, and social support scale. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of data analysis show that the major hypothesis is accepted, that is, there is a significant relationship between optimism and social support and resilience. Minor hypotheses are also accepted, namely, (1) There is a positive relationship between optimism and resilience; and (2) There is a positive relationship between social support and resilience. This means that the more optimistic and the better of social support, the higher the resilience ability. The contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 46.1%. The optimism variable contributed 22.5% and the social support variable contributed 23.6% to resilience. Meanwhile, 53.1% is influenced by other variables, such as: intellectual capacity, self-efficacy, self-concept and emotion regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student entrepreneurship intentions on career plans due to the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Entrepreneurial intention can be interpreted as a process of seeking information to achieve a business goal. According to data obtained from the central statistics agency, data on the increasing number of unemployed, from 2019 to 2020 increased by 1.84% so that the number of unemployed becomes 7.07%. In addition, the difficulty of finding a job is also one of the causes of someone becoming unemployed. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using a descriptive survey. The participants of this study were "Active" students at Muhammadiyah Magelang University. The data was taken by distributing google forms through the Administration (TU) of each Faculty at the University of Muhammadiyah Magelang. The technique used in this research is the snowball sampling technique which is carried out online. The number of participants obtained is N=78. Then the data was analyzed using the SPSS 26 program for windows or a newer version. The results of this study found that the frequency of entrepreneurial intentions of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Magelang was in the "MEDIUM" category. In conclusion, from the results of these calculations, it can be seen that the career plans of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Magelang to become entrepreneurs are still in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine relationship the Emotional Maturity with Procrastination of Student College Preparing Thesis. The hypothesis is a negative relationship between Emotional Maturity with Procrastination Of Student College Preparing Thesis in Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Subjects in this study were 80 subjects. The population used in this study were student college of Psychology Faculty batch 2006 until 2012 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and preparing thesis at least one year or two semesters. The measuring instruments used in this study are: a) Scale Emotional Maturity and b) Scale Procrastiation. Data analysis techniques used in this study is the product moment correlation, but because it is not linear then using Spearman's nonparametric statistical techniques. Conclusion The hypothesis of no relationship between Emotional Maturity With Procrastination of College Student Preparing Thesis in Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This is indicated by the value of r = -0.105 with sig. 0,178; (p>0.05), it means researchers hypothesis is rejected. Emotional maturity level is high while level of Procrastination in preparation of thesis is classified.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh belanja daerah sektor pendidikan, belanja daerah sektor kesehatan, kemiskinan dan produk domestik regionalbruto di provinsi Banten tahun 2015-2019. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah data sekunder. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel. Hasiluji pemilihan model terpilih random effect model (REM) sebagai model terbaik.Semenatara analisis uji t menunjukan variabel belanja daerah sektor pendidikan dankemiskinan berpengaruh negative, variabel belanja daerah sektor kesehatanberpengaruh positif dan variabel produk domestik regional bruto tidak berpengaruhterhadap indeks pembangunan manusia. Hasil uji F membuktikan bahwa pendekatanrandom effect model eksis. Adapun besarnya koefisien determinan senilai 42,94%.
