Abstract

This research discusses the marketing strategies used at the Geamart mini market in Simp Village. Rengas River District. Maro Sebo Ulu District. Batanghari, the aim of this research is to focus more on marketing so that consumers know about what the Geamart Mini Market offers. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques using interview guidelines, observation sheets and documentation whose validity has been tested. The research subject is the owner of the Gea Mart mini market. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers at the Gea Mart mini market, Simpang Sungai Rengas sub-district, Maro Sebo Ulu sub-district, this research shows that the marketing strategy implemented by the Gea Mart mini market, which includes product selection, pricing, distribution and promotion, has succeeded in increasing consistent sales volume. The implementation of the marketing mix (4P) strategy has proven to be effective in attracting customer interest, with the main advantages being affordable prices, strategic locations, and promotions using billboards and banners. However, this research also found several shortcomings, such as product cleanliness, price differences with other mini markets, limited space facilities, and lack of promotion via social media. Therefore, even though Geamart's marketing strategy is quite effective, there is still room for improvement to achieve more optimal results. It can be concluded that the Geamart mini market marketing strategy, which includes product, price, distribution and promotion, has succeeded in increasing sales. The main advantages of this strategy lie in affordable prices, strategic locations, and effective promotions. However, there are several shortcomings such as product cleanliness, prices that are not always competitive, limited space, and lack of promotion on social media. Even though it is effective, improvements are still needed to achieve more optimal results.

Abstract

This study examines how the Contextual Teaching and Learning paradigm might improve fourth-grade IPAS students' academic performance at MI Nurul Yaqin Simpang Sungai Duren. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) focused on the subject of IPAS concerning force material in the surrounding environment, employing CTL methodologies. The employed data gathering methods included the observation of student and instructor activities, test questions, documentation, and interviews. This PTK was conducted across two cycles, each comprising three meetings. The results of this study are 1) The results of observations of student learning activities and teacher teaching practices in Class IV MI Nurul Yaqin have increased. The outcomes of student learning activities in Cycle I were 57.61%, which climbed to 90.47% in Cycle II. Observations of teacher learning activities in Class IV MI Nurul Yaqin indicated a rise from 61% in Cycle I to 90% in Cycle II. The academic performance of grade IV pupils at MI Swasta Nurul Yaqin, originally below the standard, improved with the use of CTL approaches, achieving an average completeness rate of 59% in cycle I and 85.18% in cycle II. Fourth-graders at MI Nurul Yaqin Simpang Duren can improve their IPAS academic performance using CTL.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of academic procrastination that occurs among students. Students carry out high academic procrastination because students do not have the ability to manage their time well and prefer to do more enjoyable tasks than completing tasks. This study aims to describe the academic procrastination of curriculum and educational technology students and its effectiveness in counseling services. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive method. The population in this study was 436 students with a research sample of 209 students of the Curriculum & Educational Technology Department who were active in lectures in the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 classes of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling technique for this study used the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through the use of instruments using a Likert scale, namely using academic procrastination instruments for students. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the level of academic procrastination of students majoring in curriculum and educational technology as a whole is in the moderate category. (2) the level of academic procrastination of students based on aspects of being stuck in starting and completing tasks is in the moderate category. (3) the level of academic procrastination of students based on aspects of being late in completing tasks is in the moderate category. (4) the level of academic procrastination of students based on aspects of time discrepancies between plans and actual performance is in the moderate category. (5) the level of academic procrastination of students based on aspects of doing more enjoyable activities is in the moderate category. Based on the results of this research, counselors can provide assistance to students to reduce the level of academic procrastination of students in the form of: information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services and group counseling services.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the lack of use of digital technology-based media in IPAS learning, especially in the material of the effect of force on objects. In the results of observations and interviews it was found that students' interest in learning was very high by using digital-based learning media, so the development of digital-based interactive learning media was needed. This research aims to develop interactive learning media based on the Wordwall web game using the Problem Based model that is valid, practical, and effective. This media development uses the ADDIE model, which consists of several stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted in class IV SDN 05 Tarok Dipo with 20 students. The results of the material expert validity test on learning media obtained a percentage of 89% with a very valid category, the results of the language expert validity test obtained a percentage of 97% with a very valid category, and the results of the media expert validity test obtained a percentage of 78% with a valid category. The results of the teacher response practicality test obtained a percentage of 96% with a very practical category. The results of the student response practicality test obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test obtained a pre-test with a result of 67% and a post-test of 85%, this shows an increase in learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the interactive learning media based on the Wordwall web game on the material of the effect of force on objects using the problem-based learning model in grade IV elementary school is declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low social skills of students caused by online game addiction. Ideally, the lower the addiction to online games in students who use online games, the higher the social skills. However, it can still be found that students experience online game addiction, which affects their social skills in interacting with others. This study aims to determine the relationship between online game addiction and the social skills of students who use online games. This research uses quantitative methods with correlational research types. The sample in this study was 65 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The data were processed using descriptive analysis techniques and Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that students' online game addiction was in the high category with a percentage (38.5%), the social skills of online game users were in the low category with a percentage (35.4%) and there was a significant and negative relationship between online game addiction and social skills in online game users with a correlation value of r count of -0.348 with a significance level of <0.04 at a weak level of relationship.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in learning Pancasila education. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning with the Matrix Type Value Clarification Technique model in Class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh Bukittinggi City. This research is a Classroom Action Research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I carried out 2 meetings and cycle II carried out 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and non-tests. The results showed an increase in a) Teaching Module cycle I with an average of 85.5% (Good), and cycle II 93% (Very Good), b) implementation of learning in the teacher aspect of cycle I with an average of 81.2%, and cycle II 93.7% (Very Good) while the implementation of learning aspects of students cycle I with an average of 81.2% and cycle II 93.7%, c) student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 75 (Fair) and cycle II 88 (Good). Based on these results it can be concluded that with the Value Clarification Technique Matrix Type model the learning outcomes of students in learning Pancasila Education can increase.

Abstract

This research was conducted on a case study of a postal and logistics service company involving the Indonesian Post Office entity, courier services, and postal officers. The problems faced are risks during the distribution of goods from customers that cause delays in distribution. Evaluation of the delivery system is needed to maintain customer satisfaction. The study's overarching goal is to map out ways to reduce supply chain risks by identifying potential threats and quantifying their severity throughout product delivery via the Bandung Central Post Office. Companies may use the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) technique and a House of Risk (HoR) to assess failures and predict them in the supply chain. This study provides a framework for identifying possible risks throughout the supply chain. Direct observation and review of the literature were the methods used to gather data.

Abstract

A common problem that occurs in libraries is that some users do not know the function of the service and the use of collection materials. This can result in users being disinterested in using the library, unused collection materials piling up and taking up a lot of space and this is exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic which has caused a buildup of collection materials. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive methods with research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The sample studied was around 100 people with the Slovin formula. Data were analyzed through Respondent Achievement Target (TCR), normality test, linearity test, correlation test, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination test carried out with SPSS 25. Respondent Achievement Target (TCR), normality test, linearity test, correlation test, hypothesis test , and the coefficient of determination test carried out with SPSS 25 from the research that has been carried out produces several conclusions that Effectiveness as variable x has an average TCR value of 76.9% which is categorized as Good and Library Promotion Facilities as variable y has an average TCR value amounting to 74.9% which is categorized as Fairly Good. Apart from the normality test which was not normally distributed, other tests succeeded in showing that Library Week activities were effective as a means of library promotion at the Andalas University Library. According to the coefficient of determination test, the value of the effectiveness of Library Week activities as a means of library promotion is 61.7%, which proves the effectiveness of Library Week activities to be used as a means of library promotion. The alternative hypothesis in this research is proven that there is an increase in the use of library resources at the Andalas University Library with the holding of Library Week activities.

Abstract

The study aims to examine and analyze the effect of accounting conservatisme, inventory intensity and sales growth on tax avoidance in Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 to 2022. This type of research is quantitative, using secondary data. The analysis methode is panel data regression test using Microsoft Excel and Eviews 12 aplications. The population in this study are all companies Consumer Non-Cyclicals sectors. The data collection technique in this was a purposive samples, from 122 study populations to 35 were used as research samples. The results of the study show Accounting Conservatisme in Consumer Non-Cyclicals from 2018 to 2022. The result show Accounting Conservatisme and inventory intensity has no. effect on Tax Avoidance whereas Sales Growth has an effect on Tax Avoidance.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities, being non-academic pursuits conducted outside of regular school hours, are a common feature in many schools, including SMK Negeri 6 Padang. To streamline the registration and management of these activities, this application was developed. Employing a systematic waterfall methodology, the development process encompassed needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, culminating in a well-structured and reliable system. The application was built using PHP, MySQL, and UML, and its functionality and usability were assessed through black-box testing. This web application has been meticulously developed to facilitate the management of extracurricular data at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Equipped with a comprehensive suite of features, the system enables users to effortlessly perform a wide range of administrative tasks.
