Abstract

School administration personnel have a strategic role in providing administrative services to support the learning process at school. This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of the personality competence of school administration personnel in public high schools in Pariaman City which includes aspects of integrity and noble character, work ethic, self-control, self-confidence, flexibility, thoroughness, discipline, creativity and innovation, and responsibility. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to teachers of public high schools in Pariaman City. The results showed that overall teacher perceptions of the personality competence of school administration personnel were in the “Good” category with an average score of 4.44. Aspects of integrity and noble character obtained the “Very Good” category (4.69), while other aspects were in the “Good” category with a score range of 4.33-4.45. The implications of this study indicate the need to maintain and improve the personality competence of school administration personnel, especially in the aspect of self-control which obtained the lowest score, to optimize school administration services.

Abstract

As an educational leader at the unit level, the principal has a strong leadership foundation and is responsible for the success or failure of the school he supervises. Analysis of the principal's function in educational quality management, analysis of the principal's role in its implementation, and identification of elements that facilitate and hinder the implementation of educational quality management are the objectives of this study. This study is descriptive qualitative, and data analysis techniques include reduction, triangulation, presentation, and verification/conclusion. The findings of this study include (1) The Principal's Function in Organizing Educational Quality Management (a) Steps taken to improve educational quality, such as developing plans for student academic progress, building a rich learning environment in schools, fostering a leadership mindset among all academic and non-academic staff, improving learning, and supervising all academic and non-academic staff (2) The Principal's Role in Implementing Educational Quality Management (a) Making Policies on Educational Quality, (b) Tracking and Assessment, (c) Human resource development, (d) resource management, (e) stakeholder involvement and communication, (f) problem solving, and (g) empowerment of the management team, (h) Continuous Improvement The implementation of educational quality management is influenced by enabling and inhibiting factors. (a) Enabling factors include effective leadership, stakeholder involvement, sufficient resources, training and development, supportive organizational culture, collaboration and cooperation, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. (b) barriers, such as scarce resources and an unfriendly corporate culture.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implication of radical constructivism theory on learning strategy in Nurul Yaqin Junior High School Pringsewu Lampung and its impact on students. The research method used is a case study at Nurul Yaqin Junior High School in Pringsewu Lampung with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis was conducted using interactive analysis from Miles and Huberman. While the validity of the data is done by triangulation technique. The results showed that the implementation of radical constructivism triggered a shift in student-centered learning strategies, such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, scientific inquiry, and collaborative learning. The implementation faces challenges related to teacher readiness, availability of infrastructure, classroom management, and resistance to change. However, positive impacts are starting to be seen such as increased student engagement, creativity, learning motivation, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It is concluded that a strong commitment from various parties is needed for the optimal implementation of radical constructivism in order to realize more meaningful learning and produce quality graduates.

Abstract

The management of all institutional interests with an administrative bent is known as administrative management. Every institution or organization has functional activities that are carried out to accomplish specific objectives. A foundation is a type of legal organization that is significant in many facets of society. With a variety of goals, the foundation develops and launches social, educational, humanitarian, cultural, and environmental projects. Thus, administrative management's contribution to an institution's advancement The objectives of this study were to: 1) ascertain the function of administrators in the advancement of madrasahs, and 2) ascertain the contribution of school administration to the advancement of madrasahs. One kind of study that is carried out is qualitative descriptive research. Techniques for gathering data include observations, interviews, and documentation. The MA students, teachers, and principal were the focus of this study. Ar-Rusydiny NW Segaet. According to the study's findings, MA Ar-Rusydiny NW The execution of administrative personnel training and administration-related activities demonstrates how effectively Segaet has managed its operations.

Abstract

An important factor in encouraging employees to function their thoughts and feelings at work is the satisfaction factor at work or what is called by job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction is often ignored in its urgency in encouraging employees to provide their best performance for the organization. This study was conducted to determine the level of job satisfaction of employees of the East Lombok Regency DPRD secretariat using five dimensions, namely the job itself, compensation, superiors/leaders, coworkers and promotions. The method was used descriptive quantitative. The population amounted to 63 employees with the census technique in sampling the research. The results of this study indicate that the level of job satisfaction in the job dimension itself was in the satisfied category with a scale range of 255, the compensation dimension was in the moderately satisfied category with a scale range of 215, the leadership dimension was in the satisfied category with a scale range of 266, the coworker dimension was in the satisfied category with a scale range of 267, and the promotion dimension was in the 212 scale range with a moderately satisfied category.

Abstract

Organization is a place for a group of individuals to work together to achieve predetermined goals. Human Resource Management (HRM) is an important aspect in the success of the organization, especially in increasing competitiveness and productivity. Teachers' work motivation is instrumental in creating enthusiasm and passion, which impacts productivity. Leaders play a key role by providing encouragement, responsibility and opportunities for employees to actively contribute, including in decision-making. However, employee motivation can be influenced by various factors, such as education level and economic conditions, so the right approach needs to be applied to increase work passion. The purpose of this study was to analyze teachers' work motivation and the impact of work motivation on work productivity at NW Jerua Junior High School. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction (Data Reduction), data presentation (Data Display) and conclusiondrawing and verification (Conclusion Drawing and Verification). This research was conducted at SMP NW Jerua in East Lombok Regency with a focus on analyzing the work motivation of teachers and its impact on productivity. The results showed that work motivation at SMP NW Jerua is quite good, teachers get support and encouragement from the teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of a cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak among eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Padang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a randomized control group only design, involving an experimental class (VIII.3) and a control class (VIII.4). Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, performance assessments, and documentation. The findings indicate that students' knowledge aspect scores in the experimental class were higher, with an average score of 83.70 compared to 76.75 in the control class, with t calculated (5.26) t table (1.69). For the attitude aspect, the experimental class achieved an average score of 87, outperforming the control class, which scored 81.5, with t calculated (4.51) t table (1.69). Similarly, for the skill aspect, the experimental class scored an average of 82.83, compared to 73.39 in the control class, with t calculated (6.09) t table (1.69). Overall, the results demonstrate that the cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media not only enhances students' comprehension but also significantly impacts their attitudes and skills. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that this learning model is more effective than conventional methods in improving Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes, particularly in the topic “Miracles and Other Extraordinary Events.”.

Abstract

The limitations of interactive and contextual learning methods make it difficult for students to apply entrepreneurship concepts in real-life situations. This study aims to determine the influence of business simulation on improving entrepreneurship understanding among 11th-grade students at MA NW Ar-Rahmaniyah Senyiur. This research employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving 45 students from 11th grade IPA and IPS classes. Data collection techniques in this study include observation and questionnaires in the form of pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in students' understanding, which are then analyzed using a t-test. The results show a significant improvement in students' understanding of entrepreneurship, particularly in terms of creativity, adaptability, teamwork, and risk-taking. This improvement reflects the positive impact of business simulation in developing entrepreneurial skills and highlights its potential as an effective educational tool. By preparing students to think like entrepreneurs, this approach can encourage them to become job creators in the future, thereby helping to address broader socio-economic challenges.

Abstract

This research is titled “Arabic Learning Curriculum Development at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Hidayah Yogyakarta”, which aims to formulate, design, and evaluate the Arabic learning curriculum to the needs of Tahfidz students. The focus of this research is to develop a curriculum that supports the ability of students in Arabic, especially to strengthen memorization and understanding of the Quran. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a development model consisting of several stages: needs analysis, product design, expert validation, and revision. The results showed that the current Arabic curriculum at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Hidayah Yogyakarta still has limitations in terms of the instability of the curriculum used and does not support students' understanding of what they memorize. The curriculum design developed is based on Language Learning for Specific Purposes, which emphasizes language skills that are contextual to the lives of students as Quran memorizers. This curriculum involves all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and applies active learning methods to increase Santri's involvement in the learning process. Curriculum validation was carried out by experts in the field of Arabic curriculum and experts in the field of tahfidz, the results showed that this curriculum design was feasible and by the needs of the students of Rumah Tahfidz Al-Hidayah. Some input from the experts was implemented to improve this curriculum, especially in terms of material selection.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the lack of motivation in students, especially in learning mathematics. From the results of observations and interviews, students' interest in learning is very high by using creative and innovative learning media, so researchers use snakes and ladders learning media to increase student learning motivation, especially in learning math. The purpose of this study was to increase student learning motivation by using snakes and ladders learning media in the concept of multiplication in mathematics learning. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive research methods are carried out to describe and provide an overview of phenomena carried out by humans who pay more attention to characteristics and quality. This research was conducted at SDN Banjar Agung 2 on all 3rd grade students totaling 37 students. Data validity in this study using source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that creative and innovative learning media can increase student motivation in participating in math learning.
