Abstract

Meaningful learning proposed by David Ausubel is a process that connects new information with relevant concepts that exist in the cognitive structure of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding of the concept of elementary school students through meaningful learning (meaningful learning) David Ausubel. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The results show that the use of Ausubel's meaningful learning theory in learning is the main attraction for students in carrying out learning activities, because the use of this strategy is a new way for them to acquire and develop their knowledge, in which students' cognitive abilities increase. In the learning process with Ausubel's meaningful learning theory, there are factors that support and hinder the learning process. Supporting factors such as teacher pedagogic competence and adequate infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors, namely the differences in the abilities and characteristics of students who are different and the spirit of learning is different.

Abstract

Abstrack The assessment is to find out how the assessment instrument on the 2013 curriculum affective learning outcomes. Assessment is very important in the learning process, a good assessment will have a good impact on the lerning process. Affective assessment is an aspect of attitude that is embedded in each student’s personality, the assessment in the affective aspect is one of the three very important aspects in each student’s personality. In the affective aspect is one of the most important aspects of learning in schools. The assessment of the KTSP curriculum to the 2013 curriculum brings new challenges because of the limited ability of teachers’ insight into the assessment system, especially on attitude assessment instruments. The method used in this researce is a qualitative method with the type of literature study with analytical techniques. The results of this study have several levesl in the affective domain. Namely the level of receiving or paying attetion, the level ofresponding, the level of apprecation, the level of organizing and the level of personality or character. Assessment of the affective domain is arranged in the form of a likert scale or a sematic differential scale. A scale is a set of values or numbers assigned to a subject, object or behavior for the purpose of quantification and quality measurement. The scale is used to measure attitudes, values, interests, motivations and so on related to psychological attributes. Assessment instrument on affactive assessment using a non-tes form of assessment. Abstract

Natural Science (Science) learning in elementary schools has an important role in forming students' basic understanding of the natural world and the processes that occur in it. Scientific literacy, which includes the ability to read, write and think critically about science, is a crucial component in science learning. This research aims to explore science learning approaches based on scientific literacy in basic education. Using literature study methods and content analysis, this research examines various aspects related to the implementation of scientific literacy in science learning, such as needs analysis, learning models, learning media, as well as the role of teachers and school facilities in supporting scientific literacy. The research results show that a science learning approach based on scientific literacy can improve students' ability to understand scientific concepts, apply them in everyday life, and develop critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities based on scientific evidence.

Abstract

Google sites-based digital portfolios have been developed by the Tanoto Foundation through portfolios, lesson plans (RPP), learning media, student worksheets (LKPD), summative assessments, and learning practices. The purpose of this study is to explain the flexibility of using Google Sites digital portfolios in student academic review through social studies learning on ASEAN material. With a descriptive qualitative approach and observation, interview, and documentation techniques, it is hoped that the research will be accurate in its presentation. This research is located at MI Al Munawarah Jambi which is a partner of the Tanoto Foundation. The results of this study indicate that with the use of digital portfolios and Google Sites madrasah head can review the teachers in carrying out learning tasks, a teacher can review the academic development of students and parents can review the academic development of their children through Google Sites-based learning. In learning social studies ASEAN material through digital portfolios, students can prepare themselves to learn the upcoming material, if the student's score is low then the student can repeat the material or summative assessment LKPD at home.

Abstract

This research examines integrating cooperative values ​​in Islam and mathematics learning in elementary schools. This study combines descriptive and qualitative methods with a literature study approach. Data was collected from various scientific papers, books, journal articles, and relevant internet sources. This research aims to identify how cooperative values ​​are applied in mathematics learning and analyze their influence on student group dynamics. The research results show that applying cooperative values ​​can increase student activity in learning, improve student attitudes and skills, and enrich their learning experience. The main challenge faced is the readiness of teachers to implement this approach and the necessary curriculum adjustments. Appropriate support for teachers and adaptation of teaching materials are key factors in successfully integrating cooperative values ​​in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas IV MIN 2 Bungo. Kegiatan pembelajaran sebelumnya didominasi oleh metode ceramah, dengan minimnya aktivitas siswa. Sebagai solusi, pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diterapkan untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih bermakna dan kontekstual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan pendekatan CTL dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket motivasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar yang signifikan: dari 45,92% (kategori rendah) pada pra-siklus, meningkat menjadi 71,77% (kategori sedang) pada akhir siklus I, dan mencapai 92,09% (kategori sangat tinggi) pada akhir siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan CTL mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS secara signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan green sutha sebagai wadah pendidikan lingkungan di Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi yang meliputi (1) Bagaimana Green Sutha dalam gerakan menanam pohon (2) Webinar Green Sutha dalam mengedukasi pentingya lingkungan (3) Green Sutha sebagai gerakan Green Spirituality. Dengan menggunakan Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi diharapkan penelitian ini mampu membedah tajuk pembahasan sesuai tujuannya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini (1) Green Sutha didasarkan oleh keprihatinan tehadap isu lingkungan yang semakin buruk, sehingga gerakan menanam pohon di lingkungan UIN Sultha Thaha Saifuddin Jambi menjadi gerakan penting (2) Webinar tentang peduli lingkungan sebagai salah satu edukasi kepada mahasiswa, sehingga mahasiswa mampu termotivasi bahwa menjaga lingkungan sangatlah penting (3)  Dalam wujud Green Spirituality Green Sutha tidak sekadar menanam pohon, tetapi juga menyelenggarakan kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan seperti tadarus Al-Qur’an bertema lingkungan, khutbah Jumat dengan topik ekoteologi, serta pelatihan pemahaman tafsir ayat-ayat kauniyah (ayat-ayat tentang alam).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of inquiry-based learning strategies on improving the citizenship literacy of elementary school students through the teaching of the Youth Pledge history. The research problem addressed in this study is how inquiry-based learning methods can influence students' understanding of national unity, patriotism, and national identity values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design involving students, teachers, and school principals from several elementary schools in Kendari City. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed using N-Vivo software to identify emerging themes from the data. The findings show that the implementation of inquiry-based learning significantly enhanced students' understanding of national values and increased their engagement in the learning process. Students also demonstrated improved citizenship literacy, including critical thinking and social responsibility. The implications of this study suggest that inquiry-based learning methods can be an effective approach to strengthening citizenship character and national understanding in elementary schools. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of more interactive and reflective history teaching methods in Indonesia.
