Abstract

The use of video tutorial media in the context of learning technological images has become a subject of increasing attention in contemporary education. This research aims to spread the effectiveness of video tutorial media as a learning tool in teaching concepts and skills in technological drawing. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design of pre-test and post-test control groups. The research subjects consisted of secondary level students who were randomly divided into an experimental group that received learning using video tutorial media and a control group that received conventional learning. Data was collected through learning outcomes tests and student perception questionnaires regarding the use of video tutorial media. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Research findings show that learning using video tutorial media significantly increases students' understanding of concepts and skills in technological drawing compared to conventional learning. Apart from that, the student perception questionnaire showed a positive response to the use of video tutorial media in the learning process. This research makes an important contribution in highlighting the role of video tutorial media in increasing the effectiveness of technology image learning as well as providing recommendations for educational practitioners to integrate technology in innovative learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using interactive multimedia-based learning media Canva model on the competence of building engineering students. Data was obtained from analyzing related articles that discuss the application of Canva media in building engineering learning. The research method uses literature review, which involves reviewing and critically evaluating literature sources relevant to the research topic. The research results were written through a qualitative descriptive approach. Studies conducted by various researchers show that the use of the Canva model as an interactive multimedia-based learning media has a significant positive impact on improving student competence in understanding building engineering material. This shows that the use of interactive multimedia technology, such as Canva, can be an effective alternative in improving student competence in the field of building engineering.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology and globalization, Generation Z faces pressures and values that often conflict with traditional moral teachings. This research aims to explore the role of Christian education in addressing moral decay among Generation Z, a demographic growing up in the digital age with complex moral and ethical challenges. Christian education is expected to serve as a tool for shaping strong character and moral behavior among these youths. The study employs a literature review method to collect and analyze relevant literature on the fundamental concepts of Christian education, biblical moral principles, and their practical applications in the modern context. The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of innovative Christian teaching approaches, including the use of technology, digital media, and interactive learning methods in addressing the moral challenges faced by Generation Z. The findings suggest that Christian education integrated with technology and interactive learning methods can positively impact character formation and moral behavior. By leveraging digital resources and approaches that align with the needs of Generation Z, Christian education can reinforce moral values, enhance spiritual awareness, and help teenagers navigate social pressures and ethical issues.

Abstract

Islamic psychology is a study approach in understanding the human psyche and behavior based on the concept of monotheism, by integrating science and faith. Then it is made into a learning activity that becomes the most basic activity that leads to achieving educational goals, and the learning process and experience, as well as interests and ideals vary depending on the social structure of society in the field of psychology. Islamic psychology emphasizes learning, namely the process of behavioral change. This paper aims to explain and analyze Islamic psychology in terms of the problem of accepting a psychological science in Islam. Furthermore, it also explains the challenges and factors behind the presence of Islamic psychology. And how are the prospects of Islamic psychology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance using the Problem Based Learning approach in improving critical reasoning skills of class VIII students of SMP 37 Medan. The research method used is quantitative experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study consisted of 60 students divided into an experimental group (30 students) and a control group (30 students). The experimental group was given treatment in the form of classical guidance with the Problem Based Learning approach, while the control group was only given ordinary classical guidance. Data collection used a Likert scale questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in critical reasoning skills in the experimental group with an average pretest score of 85.13 (moderate category) to 124.3 (very high category) on the posttest. While in the control group there was an increase from an average of 85.06 (moderate) to 120.53 (high). The Wilcoxon and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p <0.05). It is concluded that classical guidance with the Problem Based Learning approach is effective in improving students' critical reasoning ability in learning.

Abstract

This journal aims to describe and analyze deviant behavior carried out by students in classes IV A and V A as well as the efforts made by teachers to overcome student deviant behavior at Tengguli 4 Elementary School, Sajad District. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use source triangulation, technical triangulation and member checks. The results of this research show that: 1. Deviant behavior carried out by students in classes IV A and V A at State Elementary School 4 Tengguli, Sajad District in the form of: Making noise, dressing sloppy, saying dirty things, taking friends' things, asking for money by force. 2. Efforts made by teachers to overcome student deviant behavior at Tengguli 4 State Elementary School, namely preventive action through extracurricular scout activities, Monday ceremonies, Al-Quran reading activities, congregational prayers, and providing discipline to students. The two curative actions are by providing advice, direction, guidance, approaches to students, and giving special attention to students who have problems. Repressive efforts here include giving sanctions to students in the form of cleaning, additional assignments, as well as warning letters and letters of appeal to parents.

Abstract

The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has become popular across various educational levels, including construction engineering education. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the PjBL strategy in enhancing motivation and learning outcomes among Construction Engineering students. The research method employed is literature analysis, involving the review and synthesis of various empirical and theoretical studies. The analysis results indicate that PjBL significantly enhances students' motivation to learn and encourages active participation in projects related to real-world applications. The findings of this research suggest that PjBL can be an effective learning strategy to improve motivation and learning outcomes for Construction Engineering students. Additionally, the study recommends educational practitioners to consider PjBL as a primary teaching method and proposes further research in this field.

Abstract

The importance of competency in estimating construction costs shows how important vocational education is, especially at DPIB vocational high schools, in preparing students to enter the world of work. One of the most important skills in the construction industry is the ability to estimate construction costs, which requires a deep understanding of various aspects of a project as well as the integration of theory and practice. This research aims to evaluate the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on construction cost estimation subjects in the Building Information Modeling Design (DPIB) environment. The method used is a literature review which involves the analysis of several journals and articles that are relevant to the specified topic. The results of a comprehensive analysis show the positive impact of using the Project Based Learning learning model on learning the subject of construction cost estimation. The research results confirm that the Project Based Learning Model is effective in improving students' critical and creative thinking abilities as well as overall learning effectiveness. Therefore, the Project Based Learning Model can be considered as a relevant solution to improve student learning outcomes, especially in the subject matter of Construction Cost Estimation in Vocational Schools.

Abstract

The learning process carried out by a person will definitely show different symptoms or processes and learning outcomes. This difference originates from the fact that humans have different abilities in understanding things. So, a person's success in learning is a combination of his ability based on his potential to understand something, appropriate learning, and good teaching and learning methods. These factors are divided into external factors and internal factors. Internal factors are factors that come from within the student, which include: talents, interests, motivation, attitudes, learning styles and others. External factors are factors that come from outside the student, which include: teaching methods, evaluation tools, learning environment, teaching media, etc. The research for writing this article used the literature study method. Literature study is the process of collecting data by collecting library data, namely library literature from books, articles and journals. In this research the author uses a critical descriptive approach by prioritizing analysis of data sources. The data source for this article comes from several articles or journals written by educational experts who have experience.
