Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of herd mentality and organizational culture on employee performance at the BTN Bank Area Collection Unit, Cikarang Branch. Herd mentality is an individual's tendency to follow group thought patterns or actions without rational consideration, while organizational culture reflects shared values and norms in the work environment. Employee performance is measured based on quality, quantity, punctuality, and responsibility for work. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of independent variables on dependent variables. These findings provide an influence for management to create a positive work culture and understand social dynamics over time as an effort to improve performance.

Abstract

The sustainability of hydroponics-based horticulture businesses, especially beef tomatoes, is greatly influenced by the ability of business actors to manage financial aspects and deal with market price fluctuations. Financial feasibility analysis is an important instrument in assessing the ability of hydroponic horticulture businesses to survive and develop in the midst of production cost dynamics and market prices. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of the hydroponic beef tomato business through the Break Even Point (BEP) approach and to assess the level of business sensitivity to changes in selling prices. The study used a descriptive quantitative method with primary data obtained through a questionnaire to hydroponic tomato beef business actors in the Lembang area. The data analyzed includes fixed costs, variable costs, selling prices, and production volume per business cycle. The results of the study show that most of the hydroponic tomato beef businesses have reached break-even at a lower production level compared to actual production, so that in general the business is in a decent financial condition. However, there are several business actors who have not yet reached break-even conditions due to the high variable cost per unit of product compared to the selling price. The analysis of selling price sensitivity shows that a price decrease of 10-15 percent has a significant impact on increasing break-even and has the potential to reduce business sustainability, while an increase in selling price provides greater profit room and increases the financial resilience of the business. This study concludes that production cost control and adaptive pricing strategies are key factors in maintaining the sustainability of the hydroponic beef tomato business. The research findings are expected to be the basis for decision-making for business actors and stakeholders in designing sustainable hydroponic horticulture business management strategic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of budget transparency in public sector financial management. Budget transparency is an essential element of good governance that supports accountability, public oversight, and trust in public institutions. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Respondents consisted of 50 second-semester students of the Public Sector Financial Management Study Program at the Lombok Business Academy. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale that measured several indicators of budget transparency, including accountability, public access to information, and the role of transparency in preventing budget misuse. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the mean value to determine students' perceptions. The results showed that students generally had a positive perception of budget transparency. Students believed that transparency plays a crucial role in enhancing institutional accountability, facilitating public oversight, and reducing the potential for misuse of public funds. These findings imply that integrating the concepts of transparency and accountability into public sector financial management education is crucial for developing students' competencies as future public finance practitioners who are professional, transparent, and accountable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and capital structure on firm value in KBMI 4 banks during the 2020-2024 period. The study uses a quantitative explanatory approach with panel data derived from the annual financial statements of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), capital structure is proxied by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV). Data collection techniques use documentation and literature study. The planned data analysis includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The background of this study is the inconsistency between theory and empirical phenomena in KBMI 4 banks, where an increase in profitability is not always followed by an increase in firm value, and changes in capital structure receive different responses from the market. This study is expected to provide empirical evidence regarding the role of profitability and capital structure in shaping firm value in large banking companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Green Campus program at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) and its contribution to sustainability performance based on the UI GreenMetric framework. Despite the growing adoption of sustainability initiatives among Indonesian universities, challenges remain in translating policies into effective implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with an evaluative method, this research applies six UI GreenMetric indicators such as: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation, and Education and Research as the analytical framework. Data were collected through document analysis and institutional reports. The results indicate that Unpad demonstrates strong performance in the Energy and Climate Change as well as Education and Research indicators, reflecting significant progress in energy efficiency policies and the integration of sustainability into academic activities. However, relatively lower scores in Water and Setting and Infrastructure highlight challenges related to water management systems and the equitable distribution of green infrastructure across campuses. Supporting factors include institutional commitment, policy integration, and participation in sustainability rankings, while constraints involve unequal distribution of program across campuses, financial capacity and budget allocation, as well as infrastructure limitations. Overall, the findings indicate that the Green Campus program has shown a meaningful contribution to strengthening Unpad’s sustainability performance, although further optimization is required to ensure more comprehensive and balanced implementation across all indicators.

The research sample consisted of 97 respondents who use MS Glow Products in Mataram City. with the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 27. The results of the study indicate that a partially Halal Label does not have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions with a calculated t value <t table and a significance value of 0.154> 0.05. While Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, with a significance value of <0.001 <0.05. Furthermore, Simultaneously, Halal Label and Brand Image have a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions with a calculated F value> F table and a significance value of <0.001 <0.05. The results of the determination coefficient test show an R-Square value of ±0.6, which means that Halal Labels and Brand Image are able to explain around 60% of the variation in Purchasing Decisions, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside this study.
