Abstract

Project-based learning is a complex task based on challenging questions or problems, involving students in design, problem solving, decision making, or investigative activities, giving students the opportunity to work autonomously then produce products. The study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning of chemical products on understanding the concepts and science process skills of high school students. The research method was an experiment using modified pretest-posttest group comparison design. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Class X TP 1 as an experimental class and class X TP 2 as a control class. The analysis technique used is the average difference test, the effect analysis between variables, and the determination of the coefficient of determination. The results obtained by the average learning outcomes and science process skills of the experimental class 80.61 and 80.89 while the control class 77.08 and 74.64. Analysis of influence between variables resulted in biserial coefficient values of 0.33 for learning outcomes and 0.40 for science process skills. Calculation of the coefficient of determination of the effect of project-based learning contributes 10.89% to learning outcomes and 16% to science process skills. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that project-based learning had an effect on the understanding of concepts and science process skills of class X TP students of SMKN 2 Samarinda on solubility and solubility products.

Abstract

This research was classified as a learning practice in Best Practice which was carried out at SMK Negeri 2 Samarinda in class XI TP (machining technique) of the first semester in the academic year 2022/2023. This study aimed at imrpving students’ ability in learning English particularly in learning procedure text through the use of Best Practice Procedures consisted of planning, application, observation and reflection. Atthe end of the text learning procedure that applied the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method, the results showed that (1) Students became more motivated and active in learning; (2) Learning carried out by applying the PjBL method increased the ability of students to transfer knowledge and collaborate attitudes among friends; (3) the application of the PjBL learning method can improve the ability of students to think critically smoothly. This can be seen from the level of participation of students in organizing projects such as managing time, finding resources, solving problems they encounter in project completion and this will add to their learning experience; (4) The application of this PjBL learning method can train and improve the abilities of students in communication both in the process of making projects and in reporting the results obtained; (5) learning atmosphere was more fun and challenging; and (6) By collaborating with other subjects, this applied method can streamline time and tasks done by students. The conclusion obtained was that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve the learning ability of students in English learning about Procedure text.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the application of the Project Based Learning learning model on the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMK Negeri 2 Samarinda. This study uses experimental research methods. The research design used is a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design. This design involves one group being given a pretest (O1), given treatment (X) and given a posttest (O2). The population of this study were all class XI electricity at SMKN 2 Samarinda with a research sample of class XI electricity. The first measurement was carried out before the sample was given treatment and the second measurement was after the sample was treated. The results obtained from the assessment of the performance of the psychomotor aspect using the rubric instrument for assessing student practice performance. Initial data was obtained from the pretest scores of the practical performance assessment of students, totaling twenty students, in this pretest assessment only six students passed the KKM. Furthermore, these students were treated with the application of the Project Based Learning learning model for two meetings. After that, students were given a posttest of practical performance assessment and obtained one hundred percent pass results. With the acquisition of these data, it can be concluded that with the application of the Project Based Learning learning model, the practical performance of XI electricity students is greatly improved.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the F&B (Food & Beverage) industry in Indonesia is an opportunity for all existing business people. This is marked by the emergence of various companies in the F&B sector that compete with each other and have their own characteristics. The purpose of this study was to analyze Marketing Public Relations at PT Kapitol Era Mas based on Kotler's theory which includes Publications, Events, Identity, Media, News, Speeches, Public Service Activities, Sponsorship, Press Relations, Product and Brand Publicity. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques are carried out through a combination of triangulation, with qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the two most important and interrelated tools for achieving success in Marketing Public Relations at PT Kapitol Era Mas are Publications and Events.

Abstract

One of the causes of social inequality in society is the low accessibility of the community to financial services from financial institutions or unbankable. This can hinder the community in carrying out economic activities, especially in obtaining access to micro-business credit. One of the reasons for the higher level of unbankable population among middle to lower class society is the difficulty in obtaining financial access, especially from commercial banks that have selective requirements in providing loans. To overcome this problem, a breakthrough is needed by applying the Pentahelix model through the establishment of Sharia Peer-to-Peer Lending as a form of real collaboration and a step towards increasing financial inclusion, especially for middle to lower class society. The use of the Pentahelix model in the Sharia Peer-to-Peer Lending industry is expected to accelerate the process of increasing financial inclusion for middle to lower class society in Indonesia through strong collaboration between government, society, academics, entrepreneurs, and media, each of which has its own role.

Abstract

The phenomenon of layoffs as a result of COVID-19 is being accompanied by an increase in the engagement of female businesses seeking to assist their afflicted families. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2021, women handled the majority of total MSMEs in Indonesia, namely 64.5 percent. However, technical advancement is the primary driver of rising income inequality as a result of unequal technology utilization. Based on this condition, the purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of technology use on women's entrepreneurial income during the COVID-19 epidemic. This analysis utilises data from Sakernas for 2022. The Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis method is used in this study to examine the effect of technology use on women's entrepreneurial income. According to this study, using technology has a substantial impact on enhancing women's entrepreneurial revenue. It is believed that the findings of this study would help to enhance the equal usage of technology among women entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether through a scientific approach the Project Based Learning model simulation method could increase interest and learning outcomes in English label and recipe material in class VIII-4 MTs Negeri Samarinda Odd Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research method is classroom action research. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. which was carried out in two cycles at MTs Negeri Samarinda. The population in this study were students of class VIII with the sample VIII-4 and researchers. This research took place from the beginning of February 2023 to the end of May 2023. The instruments used were interest questionnaires, field notes and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the CAR assessment, information was obtained that the Project-based learning model was proven to increase students' interest and learning outcomes. From the data analysis, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' interest in learning from the pre-cycle to the first cycle by 30% and 7.2% from the first cycle to the second cycle. Value Learning outcomes in the form of knowledge, skills and attitudes also increased. The value of knowledge from pre-cycle to cycle I was 6.3% and from cycle I to cycle II was 2.4%. The skill value from pre-cycle to cycle I was 2.2% and from cycle I to cycle II was 2.1%. The average predicate attitude of students in the pre-cycle is B. After taking action in cycle I and cycle II, it increases to A.

Abstract

The trade war between the United States - China is quite a shock to the world economy, especially Indonesia as an exporter as well as an importer from the two countries. The rubber commodity, which is one of the leading commodities that always exports annually to the United States and China, has experienced a decline since 2018, where in that year the United States declared a war on the value of import tariffs for China. Thus, this research aims to show how the trade war can affect the value of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States as the largest rubber importer from Indonesia. In this study, it was found that the rubber price and GDP of the United States had a significant effect on the value of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States, while the exchange rate had a negative correlation, but did not significantly affect the value of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States.

Abstract

The main factor that causes students to have difficulty learning fiqh is a lack of motivation, both internal and external motivation. This can be seen from the learning process that pays attention to teachers who provide zakat material. This study aims to find out the efforts to increase learning achievement in fiqh with zakat material for class IX-2 MTs Negeri Samarinda through the application of the Experience Skill Learning Model. The results showed that the cognitive ability of class IX-2 students at MTs Negeri Samarinda was very good, as evidenced by the responses of students who showed an exemplary attitude while participating in teaching and learning activities in the field of Fiqh. In the first cycle, some students seemed active in learning activities. Then, after the implementation of the Experience Learning learning model, students are seen to be more active and responsive to zakat material. The application of the Experience Learning model at the beginning of the meeting was ineffective because students had never participated in learning activities with that model. Then the learning model is applied through group discussion activities, direct practice and reflecting on actions in each cycle. The application of this model goes well along with the ongoing learning and teaching activities involving student participation as Student Oriented. The achievement of the cognitive ability of class IX-2 MTs Negeri Samarinda experienced a significant increase after learning the field of Fiqh using the Experience Learning model.

Abstract

Technological developments in the current era of globalization are very rapid. For this reason, the community is required to make a change in each of its activities. Teachers are expected to be able to follow these changes to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities. This research aims to find alternative solutions to problems to increase teacher competence in utilizing information technology through the Workshop on Making Technology-Based Teaching Media to increase students' learning motivation. This school action research was conducted at SMA Negeri 12 Samarinda with nineteen teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Samarinda. The aspects that are measured in the observation are the enthusiasm of the participants in following the lesson, the interaction of the students with the teacher in the teaching and learning process, the interactions with students and students in group work, and the activities of students in group discussions This is activity concluded that using information technology in teaching is very important and provides many benefits for teachers and students. These benefits are efficiency, accessibility, interactivity, personalization, and continuous learning.
