Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence fishermen's income in Bajo Village, Tilamuta District, Boalemo Regency. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The data source was obtained through a questionnaire instrument and used 40 respondents and the analytical tool used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the production factors X1, (Capture) X2, (Experience) X3, (Technology) and X4 (Operating Costs) on the income (Y) of fishermen in Bajo Village, Tilamuta District, Boalemo Regency. The results of multiple regression analysis produce a multiple regression equation Y = -2,446,683.31 + 0.887x1+ 0.657x2+ 0.761x3 – 0.061x4. The magnitude of the influence is indicated by the R squre value of 0.955 or 95.5 percent, meaning that both the values X1, X2, X3, and X4 greatly affect the Y value (Fishermen's Income) of 0.955 or 95.5 percent while the remaining 4.5 percent in influenced by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

The potential of an area is important to identify, especially potentials that have cooperative and competitive advantages to encourage economic growth. This study aims to analyze the potential of agricultural commodity-based areas in Bone Bolango Regency. The approach taken to conduct research using a qualitative approach. The data source used is the time series data of Brutto Regional Domestic Products for the last five years (2017-2021). The results of the study concluded that the development of agricultural commodity-based areas has not been maximized to encourage the growth and development of the Bone Bolango Regency area in the 2017-2021 period. Based on the analysis using the Location Question (LQ) shows that on average in the period 2017-2021 the LQ value of the agricultural sector is less than one (0.95). This value means that the commodity of agricultural products consisting of the food crop sub-sector, the fishery sub-sector, the plantation sub-sector, and the forestry sub-sector is not yet a base commodity, and is only categorized as a non-base sector

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts to increase the income of rice farmers through the assistance of seeds and fertilizers in Bone Bolango Regency. This study used a qualitative approach and the research instrument was interviews with predetermined informants. The results of the study concluded that efforts to increase the income of rice farmers through seed and fertilizer assistance programs have been able to increase the income of rice farmers in Bone Bolango Regency. Abstract

The economic potential of an area becomes the basic capital in development, therefore for the benefit of development planning, it is necessary to analyze the potential and carrying capacity of an area. This study aims to identify the economic potential of Pinogu District as an isolated and difficult to reach area. This research uses a quantitative approach, and the data sources that are the basis of the analysis are secondary data that are already available both in sub-districts in numbers, as well as data available in sub-districts. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Locatioan Question (LQ). The results of the study concluded that the results of the research analysis showed that the economic potential of the Pinogu District area showed that it was not optimal to encourage the growth and development of the Pinogu District area in the 2017-2021 period. The results of the analysis using the Location Question (LQ) showed that the average in the 2017-2021 period of LQ values was less than one (0.95). This value means that the commodity of agricultural products consisting of the food crop sub-sector, fisheries sub-sector, plantation sub-sector, and forestry sub-sector is not yet a base commodity, and is only categorized as a non-base sector.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and deeply understand the meaning of green accounting (environmental accounting) from the perspective of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sanan Tempe Chips Industrial Center, Malang City. The research focuses on how craftsmen interpret financial sacrifices and waste management practices in maintaining business sustainability. Although green accounting is theoretically often perceived as difficult to implement by small business actors, this study seeks to capture the essence of the phenomenon through the lived experiences of MSME actors. A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving four key informants who are tempe chip business owners in the Sanan area. The findings reveal three main dimensions in the interpretation of green accounting: (1) accounting as social harmony (tepo seliro), where environmental costs are perceived as social investments to maintain comfort and harmony among community members; (2) collective accounting through community associations (paguyuban), reflecting shared environmental responsibility based on mutual cooperation; and (3) the spiritual dimension (barokah), in which waste utilization and adherence to customary values are understood as expressions of gratitude and efforts to attain economic blessing with spiritual value. These findings indicate that for MSMEs in Sanan, green accounting is not merely understood as a financial recording process, but as a business practice that integrates economic, social, cultural, and spiritual values. Therefore, this study recommends the development of green accounting standards that are more humanistic, contextual, and adaptive to the cultural characteristics of Indonesian MSMEs to support holistic business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the price fluctuations of curly red chili during the period of January to December 2024 at the Kramat Jati Main Market, East Jakarta. Curly red chili is an important horticultural commodity with high economic value and a direct impact on national food price stability. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a statistical analysis approach based on monthly price data. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from official commodity price reports and supporting scientific references. The results indicate that the price of curly red chili experienced significant seasonal fluctuations. Prices tended to be higher at the beginning and end of the year, while mid-year prices decreased due to increased harvest supply. The mean price of Rp56,566/kg, median of Rp53,710/kg, and mode of Rp55,130/kg suggest that the market remained relatively stable within a medium price range. The quartile, decile, and percentile analyses show considerable price variation with a slightly right-skewed distribution, indicating several periods of high price spikes. The main factors causing price fluctuations include seasonal and weather changes, supply availability, distribution and transportation costs, consumer demand levels, and government policies on food price control. Overall, the findings confirm that curly red chili price fluctuations are seasonal in nature and influenced by complex interactions between supply and demand factors. Price stabilization strategies through production planning, increased storage capacity, and distribution efficiency are necessary to maintain market balance.

Abstract

Sustainable development remains a strategic issue that continues to be widely discussed, particularly following the enactment of Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, the implementation of this policy, especially at the regional level, has not yet been optimal and tends to lack clear direction, particularly in the social dimension. Gorontalo Regency demonstrates relatively strong economic development, as indicated by an economic growth rate that exceeds the national average. Nevertheless, this economic growth has not been accompanied by equitable income distribution, resulting in persistent social inequality, which contradicts the fundamental principles of sustainable development. This study aims to examine the actual conditions of sustainable development in Gorontalo Regency from a social dimension perspective. A descriptive qualitative research approach is employed to capture the empirical realities of development and to provide insights for future policy formulation. The findings reveal that the average economic growth rate of 5.01 percent over the past five years reflects positive regional economic performance; however, maximizing the benefits of this growth requires greater attention to social justice. Therefore, inclusive and sustainable development policies are needed through improved access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure, as well as increased community participation in development planning and implementation, to ensure that development benefits are equitably distributed across all segments of society in Gorontalo Regency

Abstract

Planning for village development is a crucial step to ensure that village funds are utilized efficiently and appropriately. This study aims to examine how Tiudan Village conducts development planning using methods that involve open community participation, as well as how Village Fund management is implemented at each planning phase. The study employed a qualitative approach, encompassing in-depth interviews and field observations. The findings indicate that the development planning process is carried out in stages, starting with the Hamlet Deliberation (Musyawarah Hamlet), the Village Deliberation (Musyawarah Desa), and finally the development of the Village Work Plan (RKPDes) and Village Budget (APBDes), which contain priority proposals based on urgent needs and available budget capacity. Transparency is promoted through open forums, the use of village social media, bulletin boards, and the preparation of the Village Budget (RAP) and Village Budget (RAB) overseen by the sub-district government. However, several challenges remain, such as differing interests between hamlets, limited funding, and uneven technical capacity among village officials. Overall, Tiudan Village has implemented the development planning process effectively and accountably, although capacity building and coordination are needed to optimize Village Fund management in the future.

Abstract

Economic planning and economic growth are an inseparable unity. Economic science in planning is focused on analyzing and examining the problems faced by a region. Economic growth and development in a region can be identified through sectors that have the potential to become leading sectors in that area. One way to identify leading sectors in a region is by analyzing Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data over time. The socio-economic conditions of the people of Klaten Regency have experienced significant changes and rapid progress. Development has created various economic activities and sources of income, which in turn are able to improve community welfare and living standards. The dependent variable (Y) in this study is regional development, while the independent variable (X) is the leading sector. The analytical methods used to determine potential leading and non-leading sectors in Klaten Regency include Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift Share analysis, combined with Klassen Typology analysis. Based on the results of the study, Klaten Regency has several leading and non-leading sectors. Both types of sectors need to be taken into account so that development planning in Klaten Regency can be evenly distributed and able to increase the GRDP of Klaten Regency.
