Abstract

Strategic planning is a critical process that enables organizations to align their goals with performance outcomes in a dynamic operational environment. This study explores how strategic planning can be developed through organizational performance evaluation using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework. Employing a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis, the research investigates the strategic relevance of four BSC perspectives—financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth—by examining organizational reports, performance audits, and planning documents. Findings indicate that while the financial and internal business process perspectives are well-integrated into strategic decision-making, the learning and growth perspective remains underutilized. The results highlight the value of secondary data in extracting actionable insights and underscore the importance of a balanced approach to performance evaluation. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how the BSC can be applied qualitatively to support strategic development without the need for primary data collection.

Abstract

Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality, partIPIlarly in hospital settings. Identifying bacterial patterns and antibiotic resistance is essential to determine appropriate therapy and reduce mortality rates. This study aimed to examine the association between bacterial patterns, antibiotic resistance, and mortality in pneumonia patients. A retrospective design was used by analyzing medical record data of pneumonia patients treated in 2022. A total of 66 patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in the analysis. Data included sputum culture results, antibiotic resistance profiles, and patient mortality status. The results showed that the most commonly found bacteria were Klebsiella pneumoniae (31.8%), followed by Acinetobacter baumannii (25.8%) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (16.7%). The highest resistance rates were observed for meropenem (31.8%) and levofloxacin (28.8%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant association between antibiotic resistance and patient mortality (p = 0.017). However, no significant association was found between the type of causative bacteria and mortality (p = 0.414). These findings indicate that antibiotic resistance plays a major role in clinical outcomes of pneumonia patients. Therefore, regular monitoring of bacterial and resistance patterns and the implementation of rational antibiotic use policies are essential to reduce pneumonia-related mortality in hospitals.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is the most important and best natural food for babies. The cause of low milk production can be from poor balanced nutritional factors, mental health problems such as stress or depression so that you feel anxious, trauma after using hormonal contraceptives and breast care that is not done properly. Low milk production is also caused by a lack of stimulation of the hormone oxytocin on the first day after delivery. The impact of low milk production is that mothers do not give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies. Management of low milk production can be done by fulfilling sufficient nutrition in breastfeeding mothers. This type of research is to determine the effect of moringa leaf and papaya fruit extracts on increasing breast milk production at the Munjul Health Center in 2024. Qualitative with a case study approach. There was an increase in breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers who were given moringa leaf extracts and young papaya fruits. The administration of moringa leaf extract is 10 ml more than that given by young papaya fruits. There is an effect of giving moringa leaf extract and young papaya fruit on increasing breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at the Munjul Health Center. It is hoped that breastfeeding mothers can implement the administration of moringa leaf extract and young papaya fruits to increase breast milk production.

Abstract

The development of small-scale renewable energy manufacturing in developing countries significantly contributes to sustainable energy access and local economic independence. However, this manufacturing sector poses occupational health and safety (OHS) risks that are often overlooked, particularly regarding chemical exposure, technical dust, and informal working conditions. This article presents a systematic literature review to identify these risks from a public health perspective and assess the social, economic, and regulatory factors influencing working conditions. Findings reveal that OHS aspects are frequently neglected in small-scale renewable energy technology development, potentially leading to long-term health impacts, especially for women and young workers in the informal sector. The article recommends developing contextualized OHS guidelines, safety training programs, and healthy workspace design as mitigation strategies. A cross-sectoral approach involving government, academia, and industry stakeholders is essential to ensure safe and sustainable renewable energy manufacturing.
