Abstract

Company CV. Surya Baja Mandiri is a service company in the form of a privately owned workshop that produces spare parts products, especially automotive, most of whose products are ordered directly from abroad, namely Japan, for example for the production of Stripper Bushing. To fulfill quality orders and on time according to the order schedule (Due Date) in order to maintain the satisfaction of the company that is the producer and still get efficient results for the company, a production schedule for the supply of materials that is truly effective is needed. To determine a production schedule and supply of materials that are truly effective, the author begins by doing a forecast using the company's past demand data starting from May 2020 to April 2020 which is an average of 8000 pcs per month. The Holt forecasting method was chosen because it gives the smallest MSE value of 28113.96 compared to the Brown forecasting method 741098966 and the Trend Linear forecasting method 2381480.62

Abstract

Persoalan ekonomi merupakan persoalan paling penting bagi setiap individu, karena ekonomi merupakan sarana untuk mempertahankan dan mengembangkan peradaban manusia. Ekonomi merupakan bagian yang cukup esensial dari kelangsungan hidup manusia, sehingga tidak heran jika setiap individu berusaha secara keras dengan berbagai cara agar kebutuhan ekonominya terpenuhi. Pemanfaatan lahan kosong digunakan agar lahan yang terbengkalai atau kosong bisa dimanfaatkan dengan ditanami atau di manfaatkan sebagai wadah pembudidayaan bibit ikan air tawar dan bisa mempunyai nilai jual. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melihat potensi lahan kosong disekitar desa Mekar Mulya Kec. Telukjambe Barat, Kab. Karawang yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai wadah untuk pembudidayaan pembesaran bibit ikan air tawar. Perencanaan pemanfaatan lahan adalah suatu proses yang berkesinambungan sejak dari tahap survey sampai dengan tahap pengamatan/ penelitian, karena memerlukan peninjauan ulang atau pengkajian agar mencapai hasil yang diharapkan untuk masa yang akan datang. Hal ini merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk memajukan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan adanya keterkaitan antara potensi dan keadaan alam yang dimiliki suatu daerah bertepat di desa mekar mulya kec. Telukjambe Barat Kab. Karawang tersebut maka akan tumbuh interaksi yang saling mendukung antara komponen itu sendiri dan untuk mencapai perubahan dan hasil yang maksimal, di setiap daerah harus memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alamnya ,maupun potensi sumber daya manusia yang ada. Maka dari itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk melakukan analisis deskriptif. Kata kuci: metode kuantitaif, kualitatif, analisis deksriptif

Abstract

Postur kerja, merupakan salah satu unsur penting dari sikap kerja yang mengandung risiko tinggi jika dilakukan dengan sikap kerja yang kurang tepat. Perlu adanya antisipasi agar tidak terjadi ganguan Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Hasil penelitian pendahuluan dengan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) pada UMKM telur asin menunjukkan keluhan dengan persentase tinggi yang dialami pekerja adalah sakit pada bagian leher atas, bahu kanan, pinggang, pantat, lutut kiri, dan lutut kanan. Keluhankeluhan ini apabila dibiarkan dalam jangka Panjang dapat menyebabkan ganguan muskuloskeletal, penyakit akibat kerja, bahkan kecelakaan kerja. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis postur tubuh pekerja saat melakukan aktivitas. Tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi risiko ergonomi pada UMKM telur asin “Si Emak” berdasarkan analisis postur tubuh para pekerja saat melakukan aktivitas pada proses persiapan pembuatan telur asin, dengan menggunakan metode OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analysis System). Berdasarkan analisis postur kerja dengan menggunakan metode OWAS seluruh aktivitas masuk kategori level 4 (potensi risiko sangat tinggi), sehingga diperlukan adanya perbaikan segera postur kerja dan fasilitas kerja untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya cedera dan atau penyakit akibat kerja. Simulasi perhitungan metode OWAS, setelah usulan penggunaan meja kerja dan kursi kerja ergonomis, diperoleh skor OWAS kategori level 1 dengan potensi risiko ergonomi rendah. Kata Kunci: UMKM, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), OWAS, Risiko ErgonomiWork posture is one of the important elements of a work attitude that contains a high risk if it is done with an inappropriate work attitude. There is a need for anticipation so that Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) do not occur. The results of a preliminary study using a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire on salted egg SMEs showed that a high percentage of complaints experienced by workers were pain in the upper neck, right shoulder, waist, buttocks, left knee, and right knee. These complaints if left unchecked in the long term can cause musculoskeletal disorders, occupational diseases, and even work accidents. So it is necessary to analyze the body posture of workers when doing activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential ergonomic risks of salted egg SMEs "Si Emak" based on an analysis of the workers' body postures when carrying out activities in the preparation process for making salted eggs, using the OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analysis System) method. Based on the analysis of work posture using the OWAS method, all activities are categorized as level 4 (very high risk potential), so it is necessary to immediately repair work postures and work facilities to reduce the risk of injury and or work-related diseases. The OWAS calculation simulation method, after the proposed use of ergonomic work desks and chairs, obtained an OWAS score for level 1 category with low ergonomic risk potential..Keywords: MSMEs, Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), OWAS, Ergonomics Risk

Abstract

Perancangan produk merupakan hal yang paling penting dalam suatu proses bisnis perusahaan. Perusahaan harus senantiasa mengembangkan produk yang dimiliki agar produk tetap eksis dan tidak mengalami fase kematian. Penelitian ini merancang produk softener suci laundry. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD) dengan pembuatan House of Quality yang dapat menterjemahkan voice of customer kedalam spesifikasi produk.. Dari hasil survey dilakukan pembobotan dan didapatkan bobot atribut konsumen (voice of customer) yang paling besar adalah softener pakaian yang diinginkan adalah softener yang lembut dengan bobot 23%. Kesimpualan pada penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi desain kemasan dan isi softener suci laundry adalah kekuatan Material kemasan (18 ribu x uji), tingkat kekentalan campuran (0,7 modulus), koefisien gesek kemasan / kelicinan (0,1 µ), tinggi kemasan (9 cm), berat kemasan (40 gram), tebal kemasan (12 mm), lebar kemasan (4 cm), panjang tutup kemasan (42,8 mm), tinggi tutup kemasan (46 mm), lebar tutup kemasan (39 mm), pewarnaan (terang), jenis campuran (buatan), dan model kemasan (tidak berkontur). Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of spring-back and spring-go in the bending kinematic shaping process using V-bending dies and SGCC galvanized steel sheet (JIS G 3302) material. During the bending process, the zinc layer on the surface of the galvanized steel must not be damaged. The zinc coating on galvanized sheet steel will affect the material forming process (metal forming process). This study employed an experimental design with four input variables: die opening L (mm), punch angle (punch engel), punch speed (punch speed), and bending force (force bending). The input factors for the experiment are 35 mm opening, 40o punch angle, 30 mm/minute punch speed, and 7500 N bending force. In the die opening setting conditions, the maximum spring-back angle is 35 mm, the punch angle is 40 °, the punch speed is 30 mm/minute, and the bending force is 6500 N. The average minimum and maximum spring-back angles in this condition are 0.71o and 4.08o, respectively. The bending force is 7000 N, the punch angle is 50 °, the punch speed is 40 mm/minute, and the minimum spring-go angle is 30o. In die opening parameters, the maximum spring-go angle achieved is 35o, the punch angle is 60o, the punch speed is 50 mm/minute, and the bending force is 700 N. The average minimum and maximum spring-go angles are 1.90o and 6.23o, respectively.

Abstract

This article discusses the optimization of sinker electrical discharge machining (sinker EDM) processes using SPHC material that has been hardened. The sinker EDM method is widely employed, for example, in the production of moulds, dies, and automotive and aeronautical components. There is neither contact nor a cutting force between the electrode and the   work material in sinker EDM. The disadvantage of the sinker EDM is its low material removal rate. This work aims to optimize the material removal rate (MRR) using graphene electrodes in a rectangular configuration. The SPHC material was selected to determine the optimum MRR model of the sinker EDM input parameter. The Taguchi experimental design was chosen. The Taguchi technique used three input parameters and three experimental levels. Pulse current (I), spark on time (Ton), and gap voltage were among the input parameters (Vg). The graphite rectangle was chosen as an electrode material. The input parameter effect was evaluated by S/N ratio analysis. The result showed that pulse current has the most significant impact on material removal rate in the initial study, followed by spark on time and gap voltage. All input parameters are directly proportional to the MRR. For optimal material removal rate, the third level of pulse current, spark on time, and gap voltage must be maintained. In addition, the proposed Taguchi optimization model could be applied to an existing workshop floor as a simple and practical electronic tool for predicting wear and future research.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of spring-back and spring-go in the bending kinematic forming using V-bending dies process and Electrolytic zinc-coated steel sheet (SECC/JIS G 3313) material. The zinc layer on the galvanized steel surface should not be damaged during the material forming process. The zinc layer on the galvanized steel sheet will affect the metal forming process. This study uses an experimental design with four input parameters, namely v-die opening L (mm), punch angle (degree), punch speed (mm/minutes), and bending force (kN). The smallest spring-back was obtained in the 4th test sample: the v-die opening of 35 mm, the punch angle of 40o, the punch speed of 30 mm/minute, and the bending force of 7.50 kN. The minor spring-back degree was 1.67o. Meanwhile, the smallest spring-go obtained in the second sample, namely the v-die opening of 30 mm, the punch angle of 50o, the punch speed of 40 mm/minute, and the bending force of 7.00 kN, the minor spring-go degree of 0.92o was obtained. These results show that the best spring-back degree for SECC/JIS G 3313 material is obtained when the bending process is performed with the v-die bending parameter of 30 mm, punch angle of 50o, punch speed of 40 mm/minute, and bending force of 7.00 kN.

Abstract

Resistance spot welding (RSW) is being applied extensively in different industries, specifically the automotive sector. Therefore, this study was conducted to optimize the tensile strength load (TSL) in RSW by investigating the application of dissimilar materials as input parameters. The optimization process involved the combination of different galvanized and non-galvanized steel materials. The production of car bodies using galvanized steel with approximately 13.0 microns thick zinc (Zn) coating was found to be a standard practice, but this zinc layer usually presents challenges due to the poor weldability. This study prepared 27 units of TSL samples using a spot-welding machine and a pressure force system (PFS) for the electrode tip. The aim was to determine the optimal TSL through the exploration of specified RSW parameters. The process focused on using the response surface methodology (RSM) to achieve the desired outcome while the Box-Behnken design was applied to determine the input parameters. The optimal TSL obtained was 5265.15 N by setting the squeeze time to 21.0 cycles at a welding current of 24.5 kA, a welding time of 0.5 s, and a holding time of 15.0 cycles. The highest TSL value recorded was 5937.94 N at 21.0 cycles, 27.0 kA, 0.6 s, and 15.0 cycles respectively. These findings were considered significant to the enhancement of productivity across industries, specifically in the RSW process. However, further study was required to investigate additional response variables such as the changes in hardness and microstructure.

Abstract

PT. Rekayasa Putra Mandiri adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa perawatan Industri Engineering Service. Selain proses Hardchrome ada juga Proses Thermal Spray Coating, Ceramic Coating, Polishing, Wet Blasting dan Fabrication atau Repair. Namun untuk saat ini efek dari pandemi covid-19 PT. Rekayasa Putra Mandiri banyak mengurangi jumlah pekerjanya dan juga lebih terfokus pada jasa pelapisan Hardchrome, Polishing, dan Wet Blasting. Hardchrome adalah proses pemberian lapisan chrome dengan bantuan arus listrik atau dikenal dengan electroplating, pelapisan logam dengan menggunakan listrik adalah rangkaian dari sumber arus listrik, anoda, larutan elektrolit, dan katoda. Pelapisan hardchrome ini berfungsi untuk melapisi logam pada dies moulding yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan tingkat kekerasan pada logam agar tidakmudah mengalami keausan akibat ge sekan. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengamati dan mempelajari proses atau tahapan-tahapan dalam proses hardchrome dari awal part dies moulding tiba hingga produk siap dikirimkan kembali ke perusahaan asal part tersebut. Untuk urutan awal proses perbaikan pelapisan hardchrome PT. Rekayasa Putra Mandiri adalah pemeriksaan kerusakan seperti pengelupasan lapisan Hardchrome pada part pemeriksaan dent atau cacat, membuat JIG sesuai pola dies moulding, melakukanpengelupasan keseluruhan lapisan hardchrome pada part yang cacat menggunakan larutan HCL, memberikan cairan antikarat, melakukan proses wet blasting, memberikan cairan anti karat ulang, memasangkan JIG ke dies moulding, dan terakhir mencelupkan dies moulding kedalam larutan elektrolit dengan waktu dan tegangan listrik yang bervariasi sesuai tingkat ketebalan yang dibutuhkan. Selama pelaksanaan kerja praktik penulis melakukan analisa penelitian meliputi studi lapangan dan studi pustaka. Studi lapangan meliputi wawancarakepada pembimbing lapangan, pengamatan dilapangan, pengambilan foto dokumentasi dan wawancara kepada pekerja. Studi pustaka dilakukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan yang relevan.

Abstract

This article demonstrates that the sinker electrical discharge machining (S-EDM) method can be enhanced using SPHC (JIS G 3131) materials with a hardened surface. During S-EDM, neither contact nor a cutting force exists between the electrode and the workpiece. S-EDM is advantageous because it eliminates mechanical stress, chatter, and vibration issues with traditional milling. S-EDM is widely employed, for example, in the manufacturing of molds for automotive and aviation components. Taguchi design and signal-to-noise ratio (S/N ratio) were selected to examine the impact of the input parameter model on the material removal rate (MRR). The Taguchi approach assessed three input parameters and three experimental levels. The parameters pulse current (I), spark time (Ton), and gap voltage (Vg) were chosen to evaluate the MRR performance of the S-EDM process with the SPHC-hardened workpiece material. Copper with a diameter of 10 mm is chosen as the electrode material. This study aims to determine the optimal MRR for the chosen input variables. Results indicate that a more effective pulse current value promotes debris removal from the machining zone and stabilizes following spark release, speeding the material removal rate (MRR). In the S-EDM machining process, the pulse current value significantly affects the MRR and is one of the most significant response variables
