Abstract

The increase of laundry service for clothes in Palangka Raya will affect the amount of waste generated from the service. The waste is discharged directly without undergoing the necessary process. Therefore, it has the potential to cause environmental pollution, in particular, water. The community service program aims at socializing the filtering of laundry wastewater to the laundry services. The filtering process is by absorption and filtration methods of the surfactant in the waste not to exceed the standard. The community service program's outcome target is to socialize the filter of laundry waste towards the laundry service owners at Palangka Raya city. The research finding proves that there has not been any filtering system to minimize environmental pollution, mostly water, due to the detergent material. Laundry services usually use detergent for the washing to consider its cleaning characteristics that are more effective than ordinary washing soap. The detergent's main content is an ionic compound tripolyphosphate functioning as a builder and surfactant. The socialization towards laundry services is by directing them to not discharge the wastewater directly into drainage; therefore, the wastewater can settle and deposited.

Abstract

Learning implementation is a frequent problem faced by inclusive education teachers in elementary schools. It becomes more difficult by the fact that there are still many dyslexic students incapable of reading a sentence or even a word. Meanwhile, teachers are still applying the same learning program for both average students and students with disabilities. To archive this, we encode an adaptation program which aims to provide training and mentoring to elementary school teachers. In this study, we conduct the research in SD Mandiri 2 Cibabat, City of Cimahi. The activities include zoom meeting discussing about the basic concept of dyslexic students, the reading method for dyslexic students, and the basic concepts of adaptation program of reading learning for dyslexic students. Then, it is followed by mentoring on reading skill assessment, workshop analysis, forming the adaptation program, and training the implementation. The result of the study is in the form of guided learning on implementing the adaptation of reading learning for dyslexic students, which expectedly accommodates and improves the students’ reading ability.

Abstract

Increasing the local materials' utilization through community participation in freshwater fish farming is one of the keys to realizing family-based food independence. It can be done by utilizing narrow land, utilizing local raw materials that can be used as ingredients for handmade fish feed, preventing pests and diseases, and improving the aquatic environment's quality. Those steps need to get the attention of various parties through an appropriate technology approach. One of the areas for developing freshwater fish farming in Malang is the Sukun sub-district. The fish farmer group association called "Gapoktan" in the sukun sub-district that carries out fisheries activities is the "Mekar mulyo" Gapoktan. Gapoktan Mekar Mulyo was formed in 2014 with the chairman, Mr. Rahmad, located in Gadang village, Sukun sub-district. There are four groups: one mina weling fish cultivator group, two farmer groups, namely blossom sari, advanced farmers, and one mulyo farmer group. The number of group members is 55 people. Internal community service activities for Gapoktan "Mekar Mulyo" fish farmers in Gadang village, Sukun District, Malang City aim to increase knowledge and skills on the application of acceptable fish farming methods (CBIB), to improve partners' skills in producing fish feed based on indigenous raw materials, and to increase the skills and knowledge of partners in environmental management based on herbal plants. The methods used in the fisheries team's internal community service program where training and mentoring on acceptable fish farming methods (CBIB), independent fish feed production, and probiotic propagation based on local raw materials. The internal community service activities results are as follows: partners can implement an intensive cultivation system in freshwater fish cultivation activities based on acceptable fish farming practices (CBIB). The program partners have succeeded in producing independent fish feed in fermentation, increasing probiotics manufactured from local raw materials, and partners can implement sustainable water quality monitoring. This evaluation is in line with the increase in fish production data during the activity.

Abstract

Elderly age is an age that is susceptible to various diseases. There are many changes both physically, cognitively, mentally, psychosocial and spiritually and with many of these changes it will be better if the elderly get better services. Services in all aspects for the elderly in Indonesia have not received the maximum touch from the government. Based on the results of the initial survey conducted by the Proposal Team in mid-December 2019 at the Tanggulangin Health Center, it was found that only 42.50% received health services. This shows that the coverage of elderly health services in Penatarsewu village is less than the target set by the Health Office. Therefore, the community service partner and partners improve the health status of the elderly by optimizing home health checks for the elderly and training and mentoring posyandu cadres for the elderly. With this village partnership program, holding a routine elderly posyandu equipped with adequate medical checkups, competent elderly cadres and elderly gymnastics that have been held regularly are the right solution to be carried out in Penatarsewu Village.

Abstract

Development and environment are two components that influence each other. The physical environment is needed as a provider of natural resources which will be further processed, while the social environment provides human resources as development actors. In the implementation of development, knowledge becomes a very important component. Because knowledge is a strong basis for consideration in generating critical thinking. Knowledge, experience, expectations, information will shape the public's perception of a phenomenon, in this case the construction of the Tiro Reservoir. One of the sub-districts that has agricultural potential that has not been managed properly is Tiro District in Pidie District. The government through the Sumatra River Basin I (BWS SI) plans to build a reservoir located in Blang Rukui Village, Tiro District, Pidie Regency. The impact of the refusal of some communities can be clearly seen in the land acquisition process that has not been carried out to date, which means that some communities do not give their land to be paid for by the government. The method in this study is to conduct direct observations to the research site by using a questionnaire to see whether the public's perception supports or does not support the construction of this reservoir. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it is known that the average public perception of the construction of the Tiro Reservoir is 62%, which is included in the criteria for being quite supportive in the construction of the reservoir. From the calculation results, the village affected by the development (village to be relocated) is Blang Rukui Village. Of the 29 samples in the village (Blang Rukui Village) affected by the construction, 25 samples did not support the construction of the reservoir and 4 samples were quite supportive. Meanwhile, in the villages (Pulo Kenari, Dayah Teungoh, Dayah Baroh, Panton Beunot) who received the benefits 47 samples supported the construction of the reservoir and the remaining 19 samples were sufficient to support the construction of the reservoir. Based on the results of calculations and discussions, it can be concluded that the results of community perceptions, although in the low category, are still quite supportive for development.

Abstract

The essence of technology is to help human work become easier, cost effective, save time more efficiently and on target. The use of technology that is studded with innovation provides real changes in every activity, including in the world of education. Even in some countries such as Australia and Hong Kong, technology has been introduced through basic programming since the age of 3 years. In Indonesia in 2016 the Minister of Communication and Information, Rudiantara, has discussed programming so that it is included in the elementary school curriculum. The introduction of technology at the elementary school level aims to prepare young people who are ready to face technology in the industrial era 4.0. This service activity is carried out in order to improve web programming capabilities using the Laravel framework. The hope is that by providing the ability to program using the Laravel framework, it can support academic education and increase employment opportunities with more capabilities.
