Abstract

This study examines a model of the relationship among source of competitive advantage and performance outcomes. Production and operation competency is considered as a source of advantage. This competency is definedas the sum of the performanca on some production and operation competitive items, weighted by importance and extent of responsibility. Relationship between this competency contructs with performance outcomes such as ROl andmarket share are analyzed. The questinnaere were sent to production and operation managers. The instrument is used from Vickery et al. (1993), Elitan (1998). Regression was used to analysis data. The result shows there are positive relationship between production and operation competency with ROl and market share.

Abstract

The Islamic banking systemin Indonesia has been started since 1991. The dəvelopment of this type of banks is encouraging even now its share is 0,2 %. There are 2 full Islamic banks 55 branches and 83 Rural Islamic Banks plus 2500 BMTS (micro Islamic financialinstitutions). Ina year ahead there will be an AFTA in which foreign banks may enter banking market in the country. Whatproblems will be faced by Islamicbanks in that period will be the main focus of this paper. The paper also recommends policies and tasks that may be setby Islamicbank, central bank as well as Muslim community.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the performance of BTPN Bank from 5 aspects point of views; Asset Quality, Liguidity, Profitability, Retum on Asset, Retum of Equity to improve its CAR eventually. Then the datas were analysedby using descriptive analysis method (Financial Ratio Analysis) and statistical analysis method (Correlation Analysis and Simple Regression) Minitab and Microsoft Excel programs. The result shows their rentability has insignificant correlation with capital.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction has been an integral partof mission and goal ofimost organizations in order to be able to face tough competition. The customer feels satisfied if the product is much better than his expectation. Based on the data taken from "Multokotomis" questionnaire consisting of alternative answers which should be chosen by respondents and use given a value of 5,4,3,2 and 1. Those are six dimension of customer satisfaction measurements in the field of services, those are, the availability of supports, the responsiveness of supports, the timelines of supports, the completeness of supports, the pleasantness of supports and the overall satisfaction. In addition to that, there are five dimension of customer loyalty measurements such as, the repeat patronages, the self stated retention, the price insentivity, the resistance of counter persuasion and the likelihood of spreading positive word of mouth. The research revealed that the degree of customers' satisfaction can be used the predict to customers' loyalty.

Abstract

Inline with the development of new states and their economy, the Muslimowned companies are emerging.  Sum of the companies are listed in the Emerging Market 200 of Business Week.  This new phenomenon are discussed and the composition and characteristics of those companies are analyzed.  These companies are not necessary being operated in syariah rudes.  The grouping is only based on what country are the companies originated.  The companies may not belong to Muslim investors or its operating may not comply with sharia rules.  The paper is a first step to discover and to map the road and the power of Muslim emerging Economy.

Abstract

Research about green marketing ałways focus by how the behavior of the green consumer for the marketing practice that done by the company. The goal of the research is want to test the green consumer from the demography point to view like age, sex, education rate and income rate and psychography point of view (percieved consumers, effectiveness, environmental concem, and political orientation) beside to look the profile of the green consumer in Indonesia.

Abstract

The general objectve of this study was to determine the relative variable derived from called as Augmented Prodct on the one hand, and Occupancy Rate of Three Star Hotel on the other hand in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. Primary data got from apprecials of gues hotel and its managementand apprecial of the researcher for its variable owned by them. Evently, secondary data got and came from Indonesian Association Hotel and Restaurant, Direction General of Toursim, Central Statistical Bureau, Newspapers, Magazine, Brochure and Others. For fomulation acase within this study conceming:"Should be Augmented Product Hotel Affected, Three Star Hotel in DKI Jakarta, toward rate of Occupancy?" variable analysed within this study consist of: Location, Parking, Exterior and interior structure and design, Food and beverage, Guest rooms and suites, Other meeting rooms and services. Its hypothesis as follows: The existing of Augmented Product toward Occupancy Rate. The method is used to collect data such as interview, questioners and observation. Anyway data method analysis used as Linear Regression Analysis, in which variable depence (=Y) as Occupancy Rate Hotel and free variable in which Augmented Product. The results of this study that Location, Exterior and interior structure and design, Food and beverage, Guest Rooms, and Guest Hotel, Hotel Management, researcher point that the variable parkig, it was not effet for OCR. For conlusion of this stufy referred to its hotel, in order to oon perform renovation when nature ofits Augmented Producthave less that good condition too. Because of comptetition frequently mosty tighted.
