Abstract

The Population Administration Service focuses on providing Family Cards and Birth Certificates, which are universal, lifelong documents issued by authorized officials by recording a person's data. The family card contains data about the composition, relationship and number of family members. At the same time, birth certificates play an important role in proving legal certainty of personal identity and as a state basis to guide government budgeting policies (both at the central and regional levels). The provision of population administration services provided to the community can be fulfilled and satisfied, and provides a good service focus. Good service expects service providers, customers or stakeholders from service activities to have references about the form, reason, time, place, and process of service being carried out. The type of research in this article is descriptive qualitative. This study uses analytical methods, namely exploratory research, interviews, and data collection. The results of this study focus on six indicators, namely Service Policy, Professionalism of Human Resources (HR), Public Service Infrastructure, Public Service Information Systems, Complaint Consultation, and Innovation.

Abstract

The implementation of new student admission curently is carried out online in most parts of Indonesia. Jalur Penerimaan Vokasi Industri (JARVIS) was initiated by the Ministry of Industry to meet the needs of the community, especially for prospective students so that they can choose and apply to schools or polytechnics under the auspices of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency, Ministry of Industry. There are 3 pathways in online new student admission through JARVIS, namely Achievement, Independent and Together. JARVIS has made changes and impacts that make prospective registrants have flexible time in registering, but there are still some problems encountered during the JARVIS registration process. In this study, qualitative-descriptive methods were used to find out how the implementation of the New Student Admission process through JARVIS and to find out what problems were encountered during the implementation of Jarvis at Chemical Analyst Vocational School so that it could describe the reality and actual conditions of the implementation of JARVIS in depth.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the evaluation of the implementation of the online service program for family cards, civil registration deeds and moving certificates in Nagari Binjai, Tigo Nagari District, Pasaman Regency. This research is motivated by the fact that in Nagari Binjai there are still many people who have not updated their population documents and the community is still providing direct services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pasaman Regency, the low level of public knowledge of this program, certainty of service time, and inadequate internet network. in performing online services in Nagari Binjai. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This data the authors get through interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the online service program for family cards, civil registration certificates and transfer certificates has been running in Nagari Binjai, but has not been fully effective, efficient in accordance with the predetermined objectives.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fluctuating community voter participation in the city of Bukittinggi serves as the foundation for this study. As of all the cities in the West Sumatra area, Bukittinggi City had the lowest turnout rate in the 2019 elections, with a participation rate of 78% of its citizens. The goal of this research was to evaluate the Bukittinggi City KPU organization's success in boosting turnout for the concurrent elections in 2024. A straightforward research design and a quasi-qualitative technique were used to conduct the study. Through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, the study data was collected. According to the study's findings, organizational efficacy in boosting voter turnout is rated as being relatively good in terms of planning, communication, knowledge management, and use of social media.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems of work culture on the implementation of siskeudes training by the department of community empowerment and the village Aceh Singkil district. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work culture on the implementation of the siskeudes training. The method used is a quantitative method with the type of associative research. The sampling technique used was the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. This quantitative research used a Likert scale questionnaire which was used to test its validity and relevance. From the population, the researcher got 121 people as a total sample. This research shows the positive impact that occurs in work culture on the implementation of siskeudes training towards the department of community empowerment and the village Aceh Singkil district, this can be seen from the significance value which is 0.000 less than 0.05 and the percentage of contribution from variable X to Y is 42.2%. It is known from the results of this research that a good work culture can deliver an improvement in the implementation of siskeudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the right strategy needed by UKM Teh Sila to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats they face. This study used a qualitative approach with qualitative data from interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques in this study were processed using the IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, and SWOT Matrix. The results of this study indicate that Teh Sila SMEs need several strategies that can increase their competitive advantage during a pandemic through two categories of strategies, namely general strategies and new strategies that can be implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation process is found in the Implementation of the Mobile Library Car Program in Increasing Students' Interest in Reading in Bintan Regency. This type of research was conducted using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The location of this research was carried out at the Bintan Regency Regional Library and Archives Service. Data collection was carried out using purposive sampling method. Data obtained through primary data and secondary data. Data validity test was carried out by source triangulation and analyzed. The results and discussion show that the implementation of the mobile library car program in increasing students' interest in reading has been running in accordance with standard operating procedures using implementation indicators, namely, policy standards and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing organizations, attitudes of implementers, inter-organizational communication, social, economic and political environment.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Nagari Sungai Buluah, Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency. The aim was to describe the role of the nagari government in empowering the productive economy in Nagari Sungai Buluah and to find out what the supporting and inhibiting factors were in carrying out this empowerment. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Techniques and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that the role of the nagari government in community empowerment through productive economic activities is not optimal. Viewed from the aspect of the government as a regulator, there is no specific regulation regarding productive economic empowerment in Nagari Sungai Buluah. As a dynamist, namely training and mentoring was only carried out once, namely for 20 days, but the time was not effective due to the discipline of the members. As a facilitator, inadequate facilities and infrastructure to realize productive economic empowerment.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors in archiving data on the SIPP application at the Military Court 1-03 Padang. This study used a qualitative research type with a descriptive method with a total of 6 (six) informants. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques and data sources. Data analysis techniques use qualitative methods. The results of this study are the supporting and inhibiting factors in archiving case data in the SIPP application. The findings of this study indicate that the supporting factors in archiving case data in the SIPP application are the use of hard disks, database backups. While the inhibiting factors for the SIPP application were the SIPP application which experienced trouble, maintenance on the SIPP application and 41.7% of the employees of the Military Court 1-03 Padang did not understand the use of the SIPP application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the recruitment process of Gerindra Party candidates in West Sumatra Province. The research method used is quasi qualitative research. The types and sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data validity test of this research uses source triangulation techniques. In this study, data analysis techniques were carried out with three flows, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research uses the theory of Pippa Norris' candidate recruitment stage with the results of this study, namely: 1) The Certification Stage is a screening stage where the Gerindra Party conducts as much screening as possible in various circles without limiting anyone who wants to register to become a candidate with a note that of course they must meet the requirements, 2) The Nomination Stage is a screening stage where the Gerindra Party screens or verifies the files of prospective candidates who have registered in the context of selecting prospective candidates for the Gerindra Party of West Sumatera Province for the 2019 Election and 3) The Selection Stage is a stage where a list of candidates who have been nominated to then continue a series of candidate selection processes in the form of assessment tests consisting of written tests and interview tests. Meanwhile, the supporting factors that influence the victory of candidates in increasing representation in the West Sumatera Provincial DPRD are: 1) Prabowo-Sandi effect, 2) Incumbent Legislative Candidates.
